I USED to beat up my brain searching for just the answer to this very same question -- actually for half of my life. I found that answer in 1995, and now I share it with most everyone I come into contact with ! But our Lord, Jesus, also said, "You will know them by their fruits." If you are from or with Christ, you'd be doing His Will, right? We are imperfect and still sin --but we try our best to read, understand the KJV Bible, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and then DO as our Master tells us. If an apple tree is rotten, will it produce good, whole apples ?
BTW [by the way], I hear many others who have also joined Patriot web sites to share INFO, Prepping, the real News, and the way our Socialist America is going --very Socialist, with Congress complicit. Many folks are in a quandary as 'What they should do to turn things around to their natural original Constitutional Way, as the Founding Fathers wanted, and wrote / intended it to be followed." Well, I know that I have the God-given right to protect hearth, home, and loved ones from anyone trying to break in, disturbing my peace, quiet, steal/ take my goods and possessions. I am a law abiding citizen of good report, with a good Military-- Good Conduct, and Honorable Discharge, and a very good civilian work record. NO ONE HAS ANY RIGHT TO DISTURB, HARM, THREATEN, OR HARASS ME, OR MINE ! ! God loves me, and has always PROTECTED ME [unless I was doing something stupid or foolish...]. If / When I die, or get Rapture'd, I know that Heaven is my Home! So we are blessed with the knowledge that IF we cannot hold our house and die, God will look after us. But, if somehow we are captured by wicked elements or an Illegal Gov't run amok, God will either protect us --- or allow us to die, and be resurrected to Heaven, as martyrs... and then greater will be our reward.
And we already KNOW that America is not the do all--end all, most important thing, or place on earth, especially after most of the voting humans here chose to elect a KNOWN abortionist, a Gay agenda man, some one of illegal qualifications, but with a dark complexion, [and a lot to HIDE ]-- that most black Americans identify with... This once-great country, blessed by God, but now depraved, without God's blessing, has injured and dissed Israel --See: Genesis 12:3, is falling fast, down the slippery slopes and into damnation !! I cannot change America, and I chose not to perpetuate it in it's ugly, corrupt, contaminated fall from Grace. Even a rat knows enough to get off a sinking ship... and I wouldn't be surprised if America sunk tomorrow, in a great Financial Melt down!! I do not worship the State or a flag... but I worship Father God, Almighty, and bend knee to His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. If Muslims can die for a false moon-god religion, I can surely die for my God, Jehovah, the Father, and Jesus Christ, the Son, my dear Redeemer and Savior, as explained to me in the KJV Bible [See: biblefortoday.org].
It was over 90 degrees today, way U.P. Northern Michigan, Iron Mtn !! Pray for the farmers in our Southwest who are losing their precious wheat crops, again, which will spell death and suffering for many in the world, and a much steeper price in the stores, for US. But this too, is prophesied.

Can I Really Know I’m Saved?
Q. We are all sinners, and though I thank God every day for all he has provided me, and beg him to not leave me, how do I know when all is said and done and I am standing before God he will not say to me, “Be gone! I know you not.” Several of us were talking about this and I thought I would ask you. We do believe that Jesus is the son of God made man who came to earth and died for our sins that we may know everlasting life in heaven. It is only by the blood of Jesus washing us clean that we can ever hope to stand before God the father and hope and pray he tells us welcome. So there you have it. Can you help?
A. Here are several simple and clear verses that give us great comfort and should leave no doubt as to our position before God.
John 3:16 says that God so loved the world that He gave His only beloved son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9 says that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts the God raised Him from the dead we will be saved. Romans 19:13 says everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Ephesians 1:13 says we were saved at the moment we first believed and were marked with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance. Before we had done anything good to earn it or anything bad to lose it, our salvation was guaranteed.
2 Cor. 1:21-22 agrees, adding that it’s God who makes us stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come.
I could go on here with numerous other verses like John 6:28-29. John 6:40, Titus 3:4-7, Hebrews 7:25 and Hebrews 10:12-14. The under girding principle in all of them is that we’re not saved by our behavior but by our belief.
If you truly believe what you said in your question, you need have no fear. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil 1:6)
