Top of the morning to you all!
I am still working on my current challenge of 'dealing with the local VA System' here in Iron Mtn., MI... trouble breathing, and getting my just DUE of scripted Oxygen for traveling, etc. It's not like oxygen is a 'controlled substance' like heroin or opium... LOL, duh. And in the mean time, I looked up my old doctor in Kenosha, WI., the good Dr. Alfred Habel [boy wonder], and a real professional, IMHO. Also, the local, Oscar G. Johnson VAMC, Patient Advocate, Paula ?, who is supposed to call me back soon [ but prob later...ha!]. The phone number there is: 906-774-3300 X 32020. And now days you had better be a super duper record keeper, or have a willing, smart wife, who wants to invest a LITTLE time in her hubby. With all due respect, we all have our good points, qualities and talents... but my past wife, with all due respect, Sharon, was an expert in researching, records, and Gov't red tape, in many fields, God rest her soul. Her passing was an extreme loss to me, in many ways., and I wished that I could have died in her place-- to be with the Lord, leaving her all my worldly treasures. But, life goes on, and now I have a beautiful wife whom I DO love, dearly, Terri M. Schuckman.
It's just too darn bad that we just about have to be EXPERTS in health care, just to survive today!! And those terrible words of professional liars that we elect, like Nancy Pelosi.... "We have to pass the Obama-care bill before we can learn what's in it" --B.S. mentality....duh! How many of us 'sheeple' would willingly put our signature on an open ended contract like that, if we were sober ???
Well, I promise that I will get to the bottom of my own health care concern, having had the type of Oxygen bottles available to me in the PAST! But since many people at the IM facility VAMC U.P. here jerked me around yesterday for 3 hours, and going home with an empty sack --- those folks who THINK that they are above the law, will have egg on their face....the pen is mightier than the sword. I am severely short of breathe RIGHT NOW, by just walking to the bathroom, and it should not be this way. This also limits my over all mobility, spending quality time with my wife, and even going to church!! I am on a restrictive diet, and have been for some time--- actually a life long system of consistently cutting down on eating. Period! Part of my problem is actually from the VA scripted medications that actually puts and keeps the pounds ON ! Prayers always accepted, and comments too.
In the same vein of lying and deception, the following short article needs a fair hearing, please, and feel free to forward it. Even Russia has a small appeal these days compared to Obama-care !! But I am a Christian FIRST, and an American 2nd... sorry folks. The KJV Bible doesn't even mention, IMHO, America. Others have tried to manipulate the scriptures and say that America is mentioned, but not in my Book, that I have studied for the past 40 years.
