Foreword in Norwegian:
Velsignelser over alle mine kristne brødre og søstre i Norge !
Varm hilsen

Dear Friends,
The Bible says, in the 3rd Chapter of Ecclesiastes, [written by wise old King Solomon, under inspiration of the Spirit], that there is a proper time for everything. And especially, today, in 2017, we have a time for fun and happiness -- but also a time for ACTION ! !
Below is a long piece/ message, but worthy of your time. Please read, share, and take action.

It’s every gun owner’s worst nightmare . . .
. . . A letter in the mail stating that you can no longer purchase or possess guns.
This is exactly what happened to John Arnold of Idaho, a Vietnam War Veteran.
After suffering a minor health problem, his VA healthcare provider reported him to the anti-gun Brady-NICS database, triggering a lifetime ban on gun ownership.
That’s right, one unelected bureaucrat acting on their own is all it took.
When VA officials showed up at his home to confiscate his legally owned weapons, the Northern Idaho community came together lining the front of his home refusing to allow them inside.
In the end, the VA backed off, but this is just one case.
It has already been reported that over 200,000 veterans have been denied their rights in a very similar way, no judge, no jury, just a demand to hand in their guns.
But now we have a chance to stop this outrage for future veterans and, with your help, move to restore gun rights to our brave veterans like John Arnold.
As you’ll read in my email below, Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN) has introduced a bill (H.R. 1181) to end this unconstitutional practice of automatically reporting U.S. Military Veterans to the anti-gun Brady-NICS database without due process.
So while H.R. 1181 is a small step forward, I need your help to insist Congress do more and protect the estimated 200,000 veterans who have already been denied their Second Amendment rights who are still sitting on the NICS gun ban list.
These 200,000 veterans should be removed from the NICS gun ban list IMMEDIATELY.
We must restore rights to veterans like John Arnold who are already tied into this unconstitutional gun ban list.
So please click here urging your elected officials to NOT LEAVE OUR VETERANS BEHIND when they pass a Veterans gun ban repeal.
And once you sign, please consider making a generous contribution of $75, $50, or $25.
I must count on you to restore the rights to our country’s brave veterans, Jim.

Dear Jim,
Now is the time to repeal the Veterans Gun Ban.
Throughout the years of the Obama Administration over 200,000 veterans were deprived of their gun rights.
And all of them are still under this onerous gun ban!
These American service members LOST their Second Amendment rights with no due process whatsoever, and with virtually no way to be removed from the gun ban list.
No day in court, no innocent until proven guilty, just a ban on their Second Amendment rights.
But there is good news! Congress now has the opportunity to overturn this veteran-targeted gun ban.
The National Association for Gun Rights is working to ensure that NO veteran is stripped of his or her gun rights in the future, and that EVERY single one who was unjustly added to the ban is removed.
So please click here to sign your petition urging your Congressman and Senators to repeal the Veterans Gun Ban!
Congress is currently considering H.R. 1181, sponsored by Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN).
This legislation stops the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from partaking in the unconstitutional act of automatically reporting U.S. Military Veterans to the anti-gun Brady-NICS database without due process.
This is HUGE. . .
. . . but there’s a catch.
Over 200,000 veterans are STILL on the NICS gun ban list.
And they’ll still be on the NICS gun ban list if this legislation is passed and signed into law.
This is the problem I have with Rep. Roe’s bill.
Unfortunately it does NOT clearly address those 200,000 individuals who’ve already been stripped of their right to keep and bear arms!
These are men and woman who SERVED, and this is how they are being treated?!?!
That’s why I’m hoping you will sign your petition urging your Congressman and Senators to not leave our veterans behind!
Here’s how this gun ban is triggered:
A veteran heads over to his local VA office, he fills out a few forms assigning a fiduciary to manage his benefits, and then somebody at the office slaps a crazy label on his file, inputting all of his info into the federal NICS firearms registry, banning them from owning guns for LIFE.
And now over 200,000 veterans are in that database, unable to excercise the Second Amendment rights they fought to defend.
That’s why Congress, the Attorney General, and the White House must act to restore the gun rights of those over 200,000 veterans who have lost their right to keep and bear arms.
It’s not enough to just prevent new names from being added to the government gun ban list.
So please click here to sign your petition asking your Congressman and Senators to not leave our veterans behind!
Repealing the Veterans Gun Ban without definitively removing our nation’s heroes from a gun ban list is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Because of the support of you and the millions of other National Association for Gun Rights supporters we have already made a lot of progress in repealing Obama-era gun control.
Since the start of President Trump’s term, with your help we’ve already repealed the Social Security Gun Ban and stopped Obama’s last minute Lead Ammo Ban.
There is no reason for us to ask for half a loaf -- in this case, it’s one tenth of a loaf, if that -- when we have the support to get everything we want. We must make sure the 200,000 affected veterans are not left behind.
With your support we will let Congress know that gun owners will not accept anything less than a full repeal of the Veterans Gun Ban!
So please click here to sign your petition urging your elected officials to not leave our veterans behind!
With your signature, please also consider making your most generous contribution of $75.
I know I’m asking a lot, but it won’t be an easy fight to restore the Second Amendment rights of our nation’s veterans.
It will take a ton more Second Amendment supporters like you getting involved to get this done.
But if $75 is too much at this time, please at least consider $50 or $25.
We must do everything we can to support our nations veterans who are being denied their Second Amendment rights!
Please don’t delay, sign today!
For Freedom,
Dudley Brown
