Thomas G. Schuckman

Here is my past son, Andy, dancing with my dog, "Deuce," the Rottweiler, and what a noble beast ! My good son, Andy, was killed only one month after I lost my dear wife, Sharon L. Schuckman, in death, so I truly know what heart ache and pain is all about.
My humble Blog will be here for those who survive me, relatives and close friends, and readers all over the world.
War Cycles Ramping Right on Cue
On Monday, simmering tensions erupted into a full-blown diplomatic crisis, when the Saudi Arabia-led alliance of Gulf Arab states – including Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates – cut diplomatic ties with their neighboring Gulf state of Qatar.
A short time later, Yemen and Libya followed suit.
These Gulf states all announced that they were not only breaking off diplomatic relations with Qatar, but were also suspending air, land, and sea travel to and from the country.
The countries involved claim they are severing ties with Qatar because of its support for terrorism. But this is nothing new, as Qatar has long faced criticism from its neighbors over its support for radical Islamist groups and for its support of Iran.

Geopolitical tensions continue to escalate across all corners of the globe. |
The diplomatic crisis will likely negatively affect the economy of Qatar in a big way. And if this rift persists in the region, geopolitical uncertainty on an epic scale looks more and more likely.
But it’s not just in the Middle East. Tensions are running hot all over the globe:
- North Korea – Kim Jong-un appears to be well on his way to flattening Washington with an intercontinental ballistic missile – faster than many observers thought possible.
- Russia – Relations between Russia and the U.S. continue to be strained as the two sides differ on policy in Syria and almost all other regions of the world. Plus, earlier this week, a Russian fighter jet intercepted a U.S. B-52 bomber near its Baltic border.
- Europe – Unfortunately, terrorist attacks are becoming the norm, instead of the exception. The U.K. was rocked by its second terror attack in two weeks last Saturday, when a group of three terrorists used a van and knives to kill seven people and leave dozens more injured. This followed the suicide bombing in Manchester, England, that left 22 people dead, including seven children, and 116 were injured, 23 critically.
Bottom line: The war cycles are ramping up. And while they’re not likely to peak until 2020, that doesn’t mean you should go bury your head in the sand or hide your money under your mattress.
In fact, as geopolitical tensions continue to escalate over all corners of the globe, one investment has been thriving this year: Gold. It’s up 12% so far this year. And I expect to see gold prices continue to move higher as investors seek safe havens for their money.
That’s why I recommend that you continue to add to your gold holdings on any dips. Mark my words: The war cycles are real, and we are still staring at years of political and civil upheaval ahead of us.
Best wishes,
David
Hi Friends,
It's true that sometimes I would just like to pour out my inner feelings on this Blog site and open my heart. But I know down deep that I must hold fast to some decorum and dignity.
I saw my new, Male, VA Doctor today before I even submitted the proper paper work, and he was, and is an extremely smart, wise, intelligent, kind, Professional Gentleman, also speaks fluent German and French, and I liked him from the start ! He told me that I probably will never lose the excess weight unless I undergo a Bariatric surgery procedure.... but I am about to prove him wrong, so help me God. I will have to give up much more than I already have and be very strict with myself. And there were many things that we discussed that would benefit everyone who reads this post, but I feel that I would violate our doctor/ patient relationship and trust if I put it all in this forum, today.... sorry. But I will share things with my close, trusted, friends. But because of his expert advice, I will be discontinuing a few 'bad medicines' that are not doing me much good --- but are actually dangerous to my health and well being ! So why didn't the last very young Nurse Practitioner tell me about those things..... duh ? Either she is ignorant or doesn't give a hang.
The good, Dr. Naddell, also a Vietnam Veteran, gave me a full physical and blood work explanation this morning, spent a long time, explaining everything to me, and getting acquainted with me --- was so, head and shoulders above the young, blond, 'Nurse Practitioner,' that I just fired, for being so disrespectful, snotty, arrogant, and having a major challenge with communication skills ! Her name was, Julie. Other than that, she was a nice, "girl," --- age, about 24, with so much to learn.... sorry to say. And I am not the only Veteran to complain about her, to say these negative truths !
Moving on, the sweet sounding short article about Jerusalem and Israel is constantly becoming more clear in all of our minds, especially if we have done just a little study in the Bible ! But really, folks, maybe some of you have already figured out that it's not just the 'act of studying God's Word, the Bible,' [Nor attending some church every Sunday, etc.] --- but that we have the deep reverence, LOVE, and appreciation for God's only begotten Son, Jesus' blood sacrifice on the horrible cross ! ! That's really what it comes down to, friends ! Those who don't give a hoot in hell, will really suffer so much, now, and in the near future, no matter what happens between now and the Rapture! But that is just the beginning !
And for the millionth time --- it's NOT about "being Bad or Good," because ON ONE PERSON can ever win or merit his/ her way into heaven !! It's a FREE GIFT from Father God, but only if we choose to Believe and Follow the Lord, Jesus. Because as the book of James says, 'Demons also believe in Jesus, and yet they shudder !' So, we all have to do more than just "Believe" that Jesus Christ, exists. And God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, can all see into our hearts.... to see if we are lying or not. Ha! I am not a very good liar, anyway.
Too, I may be a good writer, but perhaps not that good of an entertainer, so you will eventually have to ponder and discern the deeper, depths of Bible stuff that I post.... even though I love to deviate sometimes and talk, rattle on about guns, knives, Medicine, Study of Herbs, People, Cultures and many other subject matter, skills and trades. But I am closer to death at age 68, now, and I know that anything can and could happen to me, and so I just want to both leave something behind --- also obey the Lord's COMMAND to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and other spiritual things that will help us thru life... and beyond.
"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." ---John 14: 27.
Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

As we join our Israeli friends to celebrate the reunification of Jerusalem 50 years ago this week, my thoughts turn toward what lies ahead for the "City of Peace." Its future will be agonizing, then glorious. The ancient Bible prophets foretold that Jerusalem will become the focal point of the world. In many ways, it already is.
We know the nations of the world will gather against it. And we know that, eventually, many of those nations will coalesce into formidable blocs that will oppose each other. Those groups of like-minded nations will become enemies that go to war against each other.
The Bible says that it will culminate in a final conflict that the world has come to know as "Armageddon."
"Armageddon" looms over the world. It's never far from the thoughts of even unbelievers.
Remember "Carmageddon" to describe several significant freeway traffic disruptions? Or "Snowmaggedon" to describe a major snow disaster in Canada?
The world has a similar fascination with the word "apocalypse."
Despite a prevalent lack of Bible literacy, fascination with Armageddon continues to grow. People seem to sense that something huge and awful will soon befall our planet, but few know any specifics.
The Bible, on the other hand, gives a great deal of specific information about both the war of Armageddon and the events surrounding it. Daniel 11 gives us one of the most compelling accounts.
There have been but the merest glimpses of Armageddon-like violence in world history. Dresden, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, to name a few. The real thing will be awful beyond words. The Bible predicts the number of deaths during that time as like nothing else imaginable.
The world system will fall apart in almost every way, starting with the totalitarian rule of the Antichrist and the False Prophet. War will rage with all the fury modern technology makes possible.
Never before in history could humanity do to itself what the Bible describes in the last 3 1/2 years before Jesus Christ returns to earth.
But now, it can do just that. And in today's newspaper you can read the specific names of the nations described by the ancient prophets as they begin to align themselves in perfect accordance with what the Bible predicts.
Which can only mean one thing: the "time of the end" described to Daniel by the angel Gabriel is upon us.
If you are not ready for the sudden appearing of Jesus Christ to call away all true believers, then don't hesitate to accept the full gift of pardon that His death on Calvary purchased for you. And if you have received His pardon and follow Him, then now is the time to make certain your family, your friends, and those around you have heard the Good News and have had a chance to prepare themselves, too.
This week, I'll give you an overview of the run-up to Armageddon. You will recognize all of the players and be stunned by how close those days may be.
