Dear Friends and Readers,
I don't know that much about the rest of the world, but we Americans have our own traditions and culture, much of it carried over from Europe, etc. Since Mexico and Canada border us, we understand most of their culture.
Being a student of History [and thereby also the KJV Bible] it was and is so interesting to learn about all the different cultures in the world, so the Army really let me see the world and experience them! I always wanted that when I was young on the farm listening to my father's stories of WW-2, etc. It was like a 'family tradition.' There is even an old song that goes: "How are you going to get them back down on the farm after they've been to gay Paris? Ain't it the truth? And who is going to work for just $4.00 on the farm when the auto factory is paying 5- times more plus medical and dental benefits.
You all know that I hate to use the term, "luck" but I would rather use the word, "blessed."
America has been blessed from the get-go by Almighty God, and for a specific reason [or 2]. Our country was actually founded on Christian principles that certain like-minded humans would also come here for that reason, to also propagate, teach and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and so She did. But where ever God's people live -- so does Satan and his henchmen, spirit creatures AND human. No one ever said that being a Christian would be EZ! Yes, We can and do live in a "spiritual paradise of happiness and joy" but hasty 'rats and snakes' can also sneak in under cover of darkness. How can you tell if a rat or snake is evil? Answer: Just look where they hang out and who they support with their filthy lucre [money $$$].... Abortion 'clinics', HollyWood promotion of Pornography, Devil worship, Drugs and crapping in the streets, etc., for starters. And you have only to read, Romans chapter One, verses 27-28 to see God's viewpoint of men with men, etc., and we have the 2-- Left Coasts leading the way to pollution in every sense of the word.... sorry if I offended anyone, but the truth is the truth, and 'God cannot lie.' -- Titus 1: 2.
As the great Christian writers say, we can still be thankful if we are still breathing. And I have a whole bagful of true stories of my own past life, many of which I have already shared with my blog followers and friends. One of my dear friends who knows of my hardships of past is Steve Brulport, who used to be a 'LEO' [ law enforcement officer] also a Navy man. He has even offered me a place to stay in Alabama, but then God pulled me up and allowed me to not only get back on my feet but do well! In fact, I never dreamed that things would ever go so well for me. But I am age 70, and I think that is "old" for a Schuckman... LOL.
Call me crazy but I was just thinking [Oh no -- not that again... Ha!] that my mother came from different Stock -- her side of the family lived longer than Dad's side, IMHO. And so that may have tweaked my longevity a bit. OK, that might not mean so much because I have lost most of my 'power' unless I start pumping iron again [lifting weights for strength]. Too, I know I have been 'singing this old song for too long' but things are coming to a head [ready to pop-- erupt] politically, and the Dims [sic] --the Socialist-Dems want the races to fight and kill each other so that crowd rule, and then global rule will take over! Even lower intelligence humans can figure out where this is all going/ headed. But intense or just good old hard study of the Bible will point all of this out... especially Revelation! It really isn't that hard to understand ladies and gentlemen. My wife and I were just reading the book of Hebrews and that seemed to be harder to understand, IMHO [In my humble opinion]. Even with my good education, I still have to look up the meaning of words every day. So that I can stand up eye to eye with any doctor, attorney, teacher or preacher/ pastor. But that is just how my extended family is, smart and hard-working... so we are all BLESSED! That doesn't mean we are all rich. Everyone has different circumstances, hardships, deaths in the family or super heavy medical bills. Dear Lord, please help all your humble servants and worshipers out, today, tomorrow, until the Son comes back with His huge Army. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Please pray for my dear, beloved, wife, Loretta Jean, who will undergo a 'procedure' soon... my sister, Susan, cousin Theresa in Kansas, and my brother Albert's family after his passing, also.
Warm Regards,
Thomas G Schuckman
---We can only wish we still had that great body.... LOL. That's me about 20 years ago.... actually in 1989 ?

Thanksgiving-2019 By Hal Lindsey In America, it's the season of Thanksgiving. And there is much to be thankful for. We are blessed spiritually, materially, and economically. We can still speak our minds, worship as we see fit, gather together in a cause, and vote. Our liberties have been infringed on, but not exhausted. We have a great military and amazing first responders. With their help, we live in a time of peace and security. God has been gracious to this country. The Mayflower was a small ship - just under 100 feet from the bow to the tip of her stern. At her widest point, she measured about 25 feet. In September of 1620, she carried 102 passengers and a crew of 30 from England to America. The journey took more than two months. During the winter that followed, half of the passengers and crew died. In the fall of 1621, they celebrated America's first Thanksgiving. Edward Winslow wrote to a friend in England. "And God be praised, we had a good increase. Our harvest being gotten in, our governor sent four men on fowling so we might after a special manner rejoice together... These things I thought good to let you understand... that you might on our behalf give God thanks who hath dealt so favorably with us." Men sent "fowling" means their celebratory meal almost certainly included turkey. But what I find amazing is that, after so much pain, hardship and sorrow, they remained full of thankfulness. "God be praised," he wrote. And, "give God thanks who hath dealt so favorably with us." With all their deprivations, and with all our comforts, are we as thankful today as they were then? They had one great advantage over us. They were morally fit and strong, and Americans today tend toward moral flabbiness. We need to understand that their moral fitness led to our material prosperity. While our moral flabbiness will, unless we repent, lead to hardship. We already see cracks in America's greatness. Extreme partisan rancor continues in Washington and has spilled over into much of the country. It has touched families, workplaces, schools, and even churches. Israel remains America's greatest ally in the Middle East. And that nation is going through a time of severe testing. Israel faces unprecedented challenges from Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, Hamas, Turkey, and Russia. Just when they need strong leadership the most, they are in the midst of a major leadership crisis. They have already held two elections this year and neither led to the formation of a government. It now looks like a third election may be necessary. Complicating all of this, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now officially under indictment. We knew it was coming. In fact, it is a major reason Netanyahu has been unable to put together a governing coalition. Yet, in all these trials, Israel will be preserved. It won't be by politics or missiles, but by the hand of God. God cares for you, too. No matter what you're facing this Thanksgiving, you can face it with Jesus at your side. And so, you can face it with thankfulness and joy. Philippians 4:6-7 stands as one of the Bible's great thanksgiving passages. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
