Reign of Lawlessness.

Friends,
Ha!  I feel like that old man in the fable,  Rumplestilskin [sp] as I just read this article by Hal Lindsey!  How fast can a country change and most of the people wake up the next morning only to find the world has changed so dramatically.  No prelude, no hint of a coming blast of lawlessness.  Frankly, I am shocked and taken aback with the breath knocked out of me!  But, IMHO, America is a divided camp with half the country still clinging to some semblance of law and order, and the other half a horde of wild Democrat-Socialist hooligan thugs.  The Bible certainly is so spot on,  so truthful and vivid.  My Faith in God and His Word, the KJV Bible is strengthened every single day that I crack it open.  I keep a Super Giant print copy in several places at home, on a nice, Oak aisle that I made -- I love to work with wood and used to do a lot of carpentry, etc.  It relaxed me and forced me to 'focus' on my work so as to forget my other problems and challenges.
I just happen to live in the Northern part of the Mid-west where many of the good people hunt deer/ venison as tasty meat, as I did for many years, too.  I am just saying that half of the USA still believes in bearing our Constitutional Right -- Arms/ rifles, etc.   Genesis 9: 3 is where mankind was first given permission to eat meat/ animals, except that the blood,  the "Life Blood" was to be drained... poured out onto the earth as it represented life that belonged to God and not to be consumed by man.  We call that the "Blood Law."  We may not know or understand the reason for every commandment given to us by God, but we do well to follow His commandments and orders.  "Ours is not to ponder why --- ours is but to do or die."  And that is a little motto that we Soldiers in the Army used to recite, too.  Right after that law came another law governing mankind rule of  human government for the next 6000 years at Genesis 9: 6,  "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed:  for in the image of God made he man."  And then man was given a repeated command to "be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth."  [Procreate and make babies to fill the Earth].   How many of us even know this true story??  How many people have ever read the single book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible written by Moses under the inspiration of Father God?   As I have said so many times, the first prophecy of the Bible has not even seen its total fulfilment at Genesis 3: 15!    Ha!  It's NOT that I am so smart, but that the majority of mankind is so stinking lazy and/ or misled by Satan the devil.  But Satan won't win in the end.  In fact, he and his wicked angels are now working overtime to mess up the human family because he knows that his time is short!  Satan knows part of the Bible too, and a great, terrible future awaits him and all that follow him.  It looks like places such as Mexico have a head start... sorry to be so blunt and direct, folks.

My dear wife, Lori, just had me try a new method to me in flushing out my nose and sinuses with a prepared 'saltwater' solution, to help me breath better in the Wintertime, and it works!  I consider myself open-minded to try new things that might help me live better --- if not longer, too.  But as I have said many times, death is but a doorway to another world, like heaven, just as the Lord Jesus promised.  We just need to be "Saved" in order to get there.  And if we are indeed Saved, we would want to try our best to live a good, clean, life following the Lord, Jesus Christ.  After all, the definition of a "Christian" is a follower or imitator of Christ.  To find out how Jesus lived, walked, talked and taught his followers JUST READ THE NEW TESTAMENT of the KJV Bible!
I find it so strange and crazy how so many people attend some church every Sunday and other days/ nights meetings yet still never know a thing about the Bible nor do they know any scriptures -- as it is written pretty much on a 5th-grade reading level.  There are even ways to listen to the whole, complete Bible with audiotapes, CD's,  etc., and certainly with the help of the InterNet, on-line, even on our 'smartphones!!'  And go check out:  "e-sword."
After all, what is 70-100 years on planet Earth compared to all ETERNITY?  But don't wait too long to begin your reading and study, please.  I just lost a cousin, a niece, my brother and Mom this past year, in death.  Death can come knocking on the door at any time.... and just think nowadays with all the new violence in many countries where the governments lack the common sense and courage to maintain the LAW and good order.  Who in their right mind would want to vacation "too far South" nowadays with the lack of government control, where criminals can commit crimes of violence unchecked?
And just look at places like England where they banned all guns, even for self-defence, duh!  Does that stop crazy people filled with hate from stabbing innocent people on the street??   I have actually been in London, on my way to Germany, back in early 1968, given a free ride by the U.S. Army.  If I was living in a place like England, I would at least carry SOMETHING to protect myself.  Even Jesus's apostles used to carry a sword for various purposes including self-defence.  They could use it to chop wood, butcher meat, cut rope, etc.   I just happen to teach other folks how to throw tomahawks and knives accurately into a target, for sport.  Other folks like to throw darts for sport or go bowling, golf, fishing, etc.   I attended college twice to become a professional welder, but also worked in Finance/ Investments, besides retiring from Daimler- Chrysler Corp. after over 30.5 years, with a good pension and benefits...  Praise the Lord.  I had a very productive life, made many good friends, and accomplished many things, also buying 4 houses in my life and many new trucks.  The Father in heaven has blessed me and I am very thankful to Him.  His beloved Son, Jesus, died for my sins... in fact the sins of the world!   See John 3: 16.   That is reason enough for me to desire His love, mercy, the Holy Spirit, and all the Bible information that I can absorb while on earth.

Reign of Lawlessness

By Hal Lindsey

Mexico's new socialist president has taken a novel approach to crime fighting. He calls it, "hugs not bullets." To see how that strategy is working out, look at the story of Ovidio Guzmán. He is the son of the man once known as the world's most powerful drug trafficker - "el Chapo." In October, the young Guzman was captured by Mexican police. But the government of Mexico freed him when hundreds of crime syndicate henchmen began an assault on the country's security forces.

Because of what happened that day, Mexico is a different place. Citizens long suspected that crime lords run their country. Now they know it. Newspaper man Ismael Bojórquez described the change. "Life goes on," he wrote, "but not in the same way."

President López Obrador sees it as a good thing. "This is no longer a war," he said. "It is no longer about force, confrontation, annihilation, extermination, or killing in the heat of the moment. This is about thinking how to save lives and achieve peace and tranquility in the country using other methods."

But in fact, this is not about saving lives. Just the opposite. It is about a government's capitulation to the forces of evil. It is about the reign of lawlessness.

Jesus said that in the last days, "lawlessness will abound." (Matthew 24:12)

In London a few days ago, a terrorist named Usman Khan stabbed five people, killing two. He had previously been convicted for his part in an al-Qaeda inspired terror plot back in 2012. He served five years and was then released from prison without going before a parole board as the law previously required. The Australian news service, News.com.au, reported, "Khan had been helped by 'Learning Together' after he was released from prison in December last year. And he was used as a poster boy by the program after he thanked them for helping him get a computer."

The two people killed by Khan - Saskia Jones, 23, and Jack Merritt, 25 - were volunteers with "Learning Together." They were both outspoken advocates for more leniency in Britain's criminal justice system. "Learning Together" is an initiative of the Cambridge University Institute of Criminology. The director of the institute, Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe, said that Jack Merritt advocated "for a politics of love."

It sounds a lot like "hugs not bullets." And that sounds nice until we remember that God instituted human government for the protection of rights, the protection of children and families - protection from lives of fear.

The United States is not immune from the growing lawlessness in the world. In Chicago, the county prosecutor announced three years ago that shoplifters would no longer be charged with a felony if they stole under a $1000 worth of merchandise, or if they were juveniles. Criminals are said to carry calculators into stores to make sure they are under the limit. That way they will be free to come back for more. According to CBS 2 in Chicago, "They grab what they want and then they take off."

Alderman Brian Hopkins says, "We're seeing store security guards being pepper sprayed, maced and physically attacked... [Shoplifters] have no fear and they're acting with impunity."

The same thing has happened in California where the law changed 1 ½ years ago. Any theft below $950 can only be charged as a misdemeanor. The owner of a small hobby shop in Sacramento says the new law has made it hard for him and other small retailers to stay in business. "It's just pretty much open season," he said. "They'll pick the $800 unit and just grab it and run out the door."

Rachael Rollins serves as the District Attorney for Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The county includes Boston. She was elected promising not to prosecute certain crimes. They include theft of personal property under $250, disorderly conduct, trespassing, receiving stolen property, wanton or malicious destruction of property, drug possession, drug possession with intent to distribute, and resisting arrest. Think of the consequences of giving people a free pass on the things on that list.

Initially, lawlessness leads to anarchy. But it never stays there long. It quickly becomes the excuse for criminal control such as we see in Mexico, or for the formation of a police state. Either way, freedoms are quickly lost.
