Looking for a new Church,

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Thank  you, 'inner circle' for your timely responces and comments to me lately!!  It's so fine to have a body of Christian friends that I can depend on to put their heads together in sort of a 'think tank' to get at while eating fresh fruit.  Our mini "R and R" in Union Grove, WI., was so fine and helpful in sorting things out in my head, visiting friends, my mother, taking a few couples out to eat, and transporting another truck load of 'stuff' up here to Iron Mtn., MI.    Still, our next 'mini vacation' will have to be a full 7 days somewhere nice, without the 2 dogs.  I am wondering if Terri isn't a 'work-a-holic ?'

I see people running around 'U.P.' here with just T-shirts and shorts!  And I think that things up here in the Tundra are 'leveling off' and I suspect that the baloney and hot air will be tapering off about now, as perhaps the waring factions will gently mind their own business now and get a life of  their own.  Maybe we should all pray for them, that they start reading and studying the Bible to find out what Jesus Christ really wants them to do.   Check out:  1st Timothy, 2nd chapter, 3rd and 4th verses.  I just hold up four fingers to remind me of that verse to look up 'what God wants.'     I recommend that they start with reading the Book of Matthew, and  then Romans, to get a firm grasp on the Salvation of the Gospel.  Personally, I am diving into the book of Psalms lately, to bring me some peace of mind.    I am now looking for a church in the area, just the right kind of Conservative  Baptist, of  Community Bible teaching church  to get some good fellowship and music with fundamental  nuts and bolts-- mainly the Gospel, etc.  I can spot a phony baloney in a heart beat, because the Holy Spirit guilds me [us] and all others to seek the Kingdom.

I am not just looking for "busy work"-- but constructive work around the house, also at the YMCA, church, making new friends there and being outside to appreciate God's wonders and perks up here in the Great Northern woods.  And I have mentioned my dreaded taxes and getting my paperwork all together to take down 'South' next week, pluse doc's appointments.  Hey, my knees are getting better now-- so that I sometimes walk without any cane!!  I knew that the new Oxygen set up from the local VA would really benefit me!!  Wow!

Now, to find a shirt to wear.

Tell it like it is.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Please make a note of it, and be advised, that I have made a few changes, deletions, and corrections on my last Blog post, and perhaps other posts,  I hope for the better, just trying to keep peace and harmony in the 'family.'   And  if I fall short of the 'Mark of Perfection' I stand ready to fix things, and correct things, if I can.
But if my frequent quotations of Scripture offends some folks--  sorry, I will not make any apologies to exercise my Rights as outlined in the U.S. CONSTITUTION, and in God's Word.  Better to be killed for using God's Word.. than to be a coward, and live a few more short days on earth... sorry, again.

Now, I don't put all my stock in the following great article, but it does make me wonder and perhaps change some of my calculations, or give me pause.  For we bible loving Christians do not watch the clocks or calendars to determine when God will come to claim his Bride class-- 'for we know not the hour or day of the Lord's coming...'  but we do know the SEASON!

Obama offered PM 'package deal' on Iran attack

by David Lev---

A report in Ma'ariv Thursday said that U.S. President Barack H. Obama offered to give Israel advanced “bunker buster” missiles and long-range planes that could fly thousands of kilometers without refueling – if Israel agreed not to attack Iran during 2012.

The report was based on discussions with diplomatic officials who were privy to the conversation Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had with Obama in Washington this week. The diplomats said that Obama had offered a “package deal,” whereby the U.S. would not seek to prevent an Israeli attack in 2013 – after the U.S. presidential election in November. That didn't mean that the U.S. was giving Israel a “green light” for an attack; it was more like a “yellow light,” which perhaps could be interpreted as close to red than green, the diplomats said.

In tandem with the report, the Institute for Science and International Security, which works to reduce the threat of nuclear war, released an assessment Wednesday that Israel was unlikely to attack Iran during 2012.

Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said Wednesday that Iran was hiding important information about its nuclear program. In an interview on CNN, to be broadcast later Thursday, Amano said that Iran is “not being open about its nuclear program. We demand that Iran speak to us of their own volition. Iran has some questions to answer,” he said.

Former Israeli Ambassadorto the U.S. Yoram Ettinger said:
“The ideological divide between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Obama is unbridgeable. It cannot be papered-over by photo-opportunities, smiles and warm hospitality…Sanctions – which have been undermined by Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Turkish non compliance - will not prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power. Forty years of sanctions did not prevent the nuclearization of North Korea, and thirty three years of sanctions against Iran have provided Teheran with additional time to develop/acquire nuclear capabilities…The cost of non-preemption (a nuclear confrontation) would dwarf the cost of preemption…In order to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear capabilities, President Obama will have to amend his worldview. Otherwise, Netanyahu will have to demonstrate the principle and value-driven tenacity and steadfastness of former Israeli Prime Ministers Ben Gurion, Eshkol, Golda Meir, Begin and Shamir, who founded the Jewish State, and catapulted it to dramatic achievements, through the defiance of US and global political correctness.”

God said: “The Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.”…“With my great power and out stretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.”…“Yahweh has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all.”... “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.”(Daniel 4:17; Jeremiah 27:5; Psalm 103:19;Romans 13:1)

The Jerusalem Connection said: Now we know that really all options are not on the table. Apparently there is one option for sure that is not on the table and possibly two. One option no longer on the table is that there will not be an Obama-authorized U.S. preemptive strike on Iran until the election is over. The second appears likely as well and that is there will not be an Israeli preemptive strike this year. Did the President make the Prime Minister a deal he couldn’t refuse? On the other hand, Donald Trump is betting that Obama will strike Iran this year in an attempt to insure his election. Whatever the case, the President’s action will most certainly be governed by his election motivations. While our vote is important, our prayers are more important. We need to pray that God will contain and restrain our elected leadership to those policies and decisions that will be most in keeping with his will and purposes for his people. And may God give us grace to be like Esther in “such a time as this.”

The story of Esther

Purim is a classic story of deep-rooted anti-semitism, pitting a powerful ruler (King Ahasuerus) and his vicious, arrogant advisor (Haman) against the Nation of Israel. Plans were drawn up for the “final solution” – wiping the Jews off the face of the earth. The word ”Purim” means lottery – referring to the method used to determine the fateful day set aside for the annihilation of the Jews.

Purim is the holiday when Jews (and many Christians) remember the story of Esther. Purim is a celebration of God’s providence and Esther’s courage. Some people call Purim the “Jewish Halloween” because it is traditional to dress up in costume, eat sweets, and put on fun plays. The main part of the holiday is reading the story of Esther together with a group of friends or family. Sound fun? Throw on a crown and get your Bible; you can host your own Purim party!

What is an Infidel?

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

A very close friend sent this to me today, and I just knew that it bared repeating and dissemination immediately.  We should all know for sure what the Gov't and lame Media want the people to believe-- while our KJV Bible plainly tells us the opposite idea/ facts.  I know for sure that a simple man, raised on a small farm in Wisconsin cannot accomplish that much or change the world -- but I also know that my bible-trained conscience will allow me to sleep at night, especially if the Iron Mt., VAMC delivers an oxygen producing unit to me sometime soon... LOL, like tomorrow, as they promised.  In a heathen world where folks just don't believe in marriage anymore-- because it is not 'cool' -- I am looking forward to just that, getting engaged to be married, so that my Chrysler Humana Health  benefits can and will be transfered to someone I really love and care for.     [And I just went back into this post and others to delete certain things that might hurt, shame, or otherwise injure anyone new who reads my humble blog -- because, as far as is up to me-- I am now trying harder to heal things, and stop 'hitting back' when I am hurt, insulted.... and am sorry if I caused any hurt from my end.]  The one who is REALLY getting hurt, is my g/f, and she doesn't NEED ANY MORE STRESS IN HER LIFE!!  And even now, today, am being accused of using scripture to suit my own means.   But let us see if we can just drop things, to live and let live, without poking our noses into other's private, personal business, because, after all, I am age 63, and my g/f is age 5 5, and who is to say that I am not "appropriate" to married with another man's sister??  And just maybe I should just stop blogging so as to strip others of ammunition....  And to my dear friends who much enjoy my Blog posts, I say to you all, that after this unneccessary mess is concluded and cleaned up-- I might resume my work here.  Thank you very much.
Also, if I said that some people were 'children of the devil', all I meant was that they were doing things OF the devil, and regret using those terms.  Sorry.  That won't happen again, either.
Now, my g/f reminds me that I said in my dating profile, that "If the right girl came along, I might be open to selling my house and relocating."  And so I am;  I firmly believe that I have met the RIGHT, finest girl, in the world, for me!  But I didn't think that she would come at such a high cost-- with all the baggage, of SOME hateful relatives...  sorry again.   But I can bet that those types are not happy campers, and they must have a lot of loose hours in a day to be constantly making trouble for us.  Why not just drop and get out of your 'war faces', please...?  My friends and relatives have been very warm toward my g/f, and would NEVER use such tasteless words/ terms  toward someone I care for.

I hope that some of you people have the courage to share this blog post with others in your address book, IF you are not ashamed of the Word, and the Truth.

Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

Subject: Fw: WHAT IS AN INFIDEL ? The Muslim Cleric tells the truth. Subject: WHAT IS AN INFIDEL ? WHAT IS AN INFIDEL ? This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry. **************************************** The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose. The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the minority races!! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic,Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Muslim was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs. In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S.should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference.... FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.....SEND THIS ON . . ..

White House Visit by Israel.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Well, here we go again with Israel and Iran with very capable Armies and terrible weapons to really stir up the dust and sand over there, and now the USA has some 'skin in the game' too, finally, after much rhetoric.  What this all boils down to is perhaps the end of  Summer to get ready, one way or another.  I, personally think, that the 'Bible's Clock' is right on time and anything could happen by then--  but also surprised that a big, bloody, nuke war has not started already!!  Indeed, the Lord of the Bible is very patient, and the 'gate is still open' with/ for more to be SAVED -- for those with an honest, clean, humble, truth-loving heart.   Praise God Almighty in Heaven for being so mercyful and kind to ME too... although He knew well that He could use and harness the big mouth of Thomas G. Schuckman, who has changed enough {but still has a long way to go, and clean up yet...} to be permited the HOLY SPIRIT, and reach others with the 'fruit of the lips' -- and the 'written Word of God.'   I love to use fine Christian Bible tracts and small pocket bibles, where ever I go, and leave a big tip after dinning out, etc.    I have gotten over my so-called "fear of men" about 30 years ago, and used JP 4 and 5, gas turbine  engine jet fuel to propel my Gospel ministry, of sorts... even as many fearful hippocrites bad mouth me because I make them feel uncomfortable, not naming any names-- just generaly speaking-- with all due respect.  I am not here tonight to wound or hurt ANYONE!!     My Lord, Jesus Christ died for them too-- and all the un-believers, as I was many decades ago.    But they just LOVE to torment and make fun of me by digging up my wild and wolly past, with many mistakes of poor judgement, and too many relationships, while they would never apply the Bible standard to themselves.....Ha!  And how many times have I admitted this stuff-- to stop the wagging tongues of many scoffers and scorners, who don't even have a life of their own... read 1st and 2nd Peter, please... because it's a short read, but right on the same message as I am right now.

Actually, my humble Blog is tailored and geared for a select group of people-- although others read it for many reasons,  many honest interested Christians, but others looking to catch and destroy me, "expose me", stop me, shut me down, but only the Lord, and the Holy Spirit sustain me.. and I believe that is the prime reason why so many near death accidents in my past life have not killed me... yet.   Some one who loves me dearly is trying to wean me from drinking too much soda pop, and sugar, cookies and cakes-- because she wants me around to take care of her... forever.  So I am trying to get back on my super diet again to lose another 70 pounds before Spring!   My pretty, youngest daughter, Sarah, in CO, would have me on a carrot and apple juice diet, with perhaps some fresh celery or a light salad, and nothing more...LOL!   What a battle that will be!    Please pray for me, in that context.  Thanks.

Warm Regards,

Another Good Day.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Enough 'DeepThinking' for a while, and I've decided to take a turn and a different tack, so as to get away from  all the recent negativity up North.   I asked my g/f if I should return to my own humble hovel for a few months, and she pretty much begged me to stay with her, and indeed, we both love each other so much, but I was more concerned with stilling all the wagging tongues up here, etc.   I think it's best if I just took a break for a time-- trying to teach the ignorant some of the 'deeper thinking' but they don't have the basic foundation to reason from... in other words, they are "Bible Illiterate" .. sorry [no insult or hurt intended], but the vast majority of the world in in that bucket list too.   I was super ignorant too when I was younger and thought I 'knew it all' .. lol.  Jehovah, the Father, in heaven had to 'break my back' to humble me a few times-- once in 1994-95, and then some horrible life threatening accidents, including breaking my neck [C1 and C2, in 1997], and many more... and get MY attention, so if it looks like I am pointing fingers or trying to hurt/ insult someone-- they are dead wrong.  In fact, I would like it very much if we could all get along and foster a spirit of love and trust!  But as we were reading and re-reading the book of Matthew, Chapter 10, we realized that being  a Christian soldier really involves making hard choices in life... that many times hurt and pain us.  Like, Matthew 10: 37 and 38... "He that loves his father or mother is not worthy of me [Jesus' own words]:  he that loves son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me.  38. And he that takes not his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me."  But please, dear friends, read the entire chapter, or better still, read the whole Book of Matthew [one of my personal favorites!], to get the true flavor!  You won't be sorry.  And if you pray BEFORE you start reading/ studying,  the Holy
Spirit will help you big time...IF YOU REALLY ARE SINCERE, and have the right motive in your heart.   So Sorry that I feel the need to repeat this strong message, my older, more mature friends, who also write a Christian based Blog, etc.

Friends,  If we knew that the place we worked was shutting down or even tearing down the place of work-- what would we do?  Would we party hardy, celebrate, throw a big expensive party for all of our friends??   Or would we 'hunker down' save money, buy a more rice and beans, and store a few more gallons of gasoline and  pieces of silver bullion?   It seems to me that many of my combat Veteran friends tend to lean toward the 'survivor types' having their own generator, a hunting shotgun, and water distiller.  Well, heck, just look what is happening across the Mid-West these past few days with all the death and mayhem-- from twisters/ tornadoes!  Wow!  And is it a coincidence how the timing was such that the Prime Minister of Israel had to fly over here again and receive more verbal abuse and insults-- if not dire threats from our own 'President Obama ?'  You be the judge, please.  Just read the 'Abrahamic Covenant' at Genesis 12:3.  Anyone who curses or hurts Israel or tries to take away, buys of sells any of that God-given land-- WILL SUFFER A CURSE!  These are dangerous times,  dear friends... so ought we place our attentions and endeavors to doing the Lord's work instead of hurting people and sticking our noses in others' business?  And that is a 'general statement' and not meant to stab anyone in particular.

My girl friend and I derive a lot of personal pleasure reading, studying the Scriptures and seeing the prophecies come alive even as we speak, eat,  work and play.  When God is included in any relationship, things just get better!  That is one reason why all my real friends are so happy for me lately-- for my success, victories, well being, blessings and progress.   And they ask me to pray for them now days too, which I do.

Don't worry, there will be tragedies in our lives a plenty, but when we have a modest spurt of  success and victory-- we celebrate and give thanks.   Why is it that real Christians always seem to be happy, even in the midst of adversities and attack?  I used to envie other folks who had happiness as a constant in their family lives... but now I know the reason why, and have set my sails to the 'beautiful Islands' where all the good things and real treasures are stored-- Heaven!

My dog is howling outside, so I need to get going and take care of business today. God Bless all Believers and give them Victory too!

Warm Regards,
Tommy Schuckman

Catholics cannot sit on the sidelines by Paul Kokoski

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Article taken fr om Western New York Catholic - March 2012

President Barack Obama's HHS mandate, which forces Catholic institutions to provide their employees with free contraceptives, sterilization and aborificients, is a sinister ploy designed to drive a deep wedge between liberal and orthodox Catholics. he's hoping that liberal Catholics, in the mold of Nancy Pelosi, Kathleen Sebelius and Sister Carol Keehan, will further ditch the Church and follow him in his bid to get re-elected to the White House. It's a simple case of divide and conquer.

Four years ago Obama campaigned for the "audacity of hope" appearing as an "angel of light." Since becoming president he has militantly and forcefully fought to establish and entrench in the minds, hearts, souls and behavior of Americans, the dark evils of abortion, sterilization, homosexuality, contraception and embryonic stem cell research. he has gone so far as to promote these atrocities in other nations.

Now that his mask is off, Americans can no longer sit on the sidelines and allow themselves to be ruled by a president drunk with power. They must engage Obama's challenge. They must take up the good fight to ensure that he is not given another term in which to destroy the very soul of America with his anti-life, anti-family, anti-religious policies.

Obama especially wants to see the death of the Catholic Church because he knows the Church is the last bastion o f hope against a materialistic world that craves immorality at every step. Our Catholic bishops' prime objective now must be to convince all Catholics--especially those on the fringe who do not practice their faith--to unite together and end this reign of terror being imposed by Obama and his black sheepdogs (Pelosi, Sebelius and Keehan).

Pope John Paul Ii reminded us that "In matters of faith, compromise is in contradiction with God who is Truth" (Ut Unum Sint 18). In the Gospel of Life he further states: "In the proclamation of this Gospel, we must not fear hostility or unpopularity, and we must refuse an compromise or ambiguity which might conform us to the world's way of thinking."

A great prayer by David.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Today seems nice enough when I drove to the Iron Mt., VAMC, in U.P.,  MI.  The gal who stuck me with a needle for many vials of blood was very good and very nice to me!  I have to go back at 3PM to see my new PCP for the first time, and I expect that to last long enough-- for all my infirmities that an older Veteran has at age 63... lol.  Transfers are always a pain in the neck, but why complain and whine?  Most of the other Vets waiting in line, many with their 'significant others' are in the same boat as me-- many missing limbs or worse, and they seem for the most part, cordial and respectful-- and mostly soft spoken.  I don't intend to 'rock the boat' either,  just get what is legally mine, and move on to let the next soldier or sailor in.

My hands and joints sure do get 'stimulated' in this cold Northern Winter climate up here, but just think about the great, cool, beautiful Summers up here, where every one South of here WANTS TO BE HERE TO ESCAPE THE HOT, HUMID POLLUTED AIR, carried up by the wind current from dirty old Chicago industry, etc.  My Dad used to always say, "You can't have it both ways-- as you have to take the bad with the good-- and don't complain about it."  Life may be better, easier, slower,  South of  WI, here-- but the work is in Wisconsin, etc., if  you want to earn a living, meaningful wage for your hard work top support a family and raise kids and dogs.  I know exactly how the Lefty Liberal ONE HALF of America lives, continually sucking the public breast of the hard working Right, blue and white collar folks with a good, old fashioned work ethic, but I will save that for my next Blog post, perhaps.

My main thoughts and priorities for today are:  making sure that my Dodge Ram 4 by 4 is working, right now with a big storm coming this way, and maybe canceling my road trip to my old house in Racine County, S.E. WI.  Why take a chance when we hear that the mother of Winter storms is headed our way tomorrow??   Even with my brand new tires, I don't feel like 'inviting trouble' if it's not an emergency.

Today is my Mother's birthday:  2-27-12, and she is a sweet, kind, very generous, old lady, whom I call every day to see how she is doing, and she is forever giving me advice and how to be happy, while being legaly blind and fighting the early signs of dementia, sorry to say.  I think that she is age 85, and starting to ache with old age.  We sent her a birthday card with a '$$$-gift' inside and I am sure she will love it, even though she has trouble reading these days,  my good, hard working sister, Linda, is over there helping out Mom all the time.  THANK YOU, LINDA!  Sister, Linda, also has a son named David, who still serves as a Captain in the Air Force.  That good 'Schuckman blood' most likely makes him a smart, astute, warrior and leader. for our country.  I think my tours of Aviation combat in Vietnam, in the Army, had something to do with him wanting to serve, and make something of himself, and I wish him well.  Thank  you for serving and protecting us, David!

I really want to share something deep and close to my heart from David, in Psalm 6.. but please read the whole short chapter... 1.  "Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in they hot displeasure. 2. Have mercy upon me, O Lord;  for I am weak:  O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed."  --etc. etc.   We want the Father in heaven to heal us gently--if possible, and that's why we do well to maintain a lowly, HUMBLE heart-- because we all sin daily and need the Father's  forgivenss through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!  It's better to be pulled aside, always,  from the ears and onlooking others and made straight/ corrected, in private, by a loving, kind God -- instead of reamed out harshly in front of others, isn't it ???  Ha!  I know well that this is true from many years of experience, trial and error, making many mistakes in my younger days.  I have tried hard to discipline and teach my own 3 children the same way that I would have liked to be corrected in my  youth -- in God's love, and not in His anger.  As sinners, so imperfect, we will NEVER be perfect in this evil system that belongs to Satan -- but we can soften the blows,  just by being humble, alert, and studying the Word-- the Bible, daily.   I knew an old elder who used this prayer often, but just now have I found it, at Psalm 6.  I love this fervent prayer!  I hope that YOU do too.

Have a good and safe day, dear friends and readers.

Warm Regards.
