Yes! Come and let us set the matter straight; Come let us reason on the matter, friends. I just happen to be a "History Buff" and hated Math in school, sorry. Being a well trained, educated welder with a great instructor in college, etc., I had to know some Math to be a good welder. But I don't know if I would ever make a good accountant, and that is just what my pretty wife, Terri, studied in college. So, you might say that we are "Cross Training" -- like Special Forces !
My Sweetie, Terri, also got me a new cell phone this morning, that is supposed to be much like my old one, but I can already see that I will have so much to learn about the new cell phone..... oh boy, I'm so happy that I could just 'shoot !'
Let's dig down a little bit and find out the real TRUTH about the Crusades. When I was stationed in Germany, courtesy of the U.S. Army, thank you very much, I had and made the time to really study UCMJ book.... the Uniform Code of Military Justice, that you all heard of, when a soldier gets into some trouble. We have our own "Code" with Rules and Regs, our own prison system, punishments, trials, court marshals, and "Article 15's," etc. The Army NEEDS to be highly disciplined with "good order" and maximum efficiency --- so we all don't get killed by stupid mistakes and disorders !! Every man and woman in the Armed Forces has got to know his position, rank, duties, performances, training and knowledge of the Military Institution, to make things run smooth, like a well oiled machine !! When I served in the Army, from 1967- 1970, I was proud that I could learn and measure up to the high standards of what ever group/ outfit I was in, and was respected as such. I am sure that all the other soldiers, sailors, Marines and Airmen felt the same way.... at least back when the war in Vietnam was going. Call it what you will, the Military is a great, grand "CLUB" where the tested few are allowed to wear that uniform and certain medals and ribbons. We knew we were the best, compared to other countries, where some of their soldiers were not treated right, and had to go beg for food in certain towns, cities, villages.
But we also knew too well, that many offenses carried a stiff penalty of various punishments. No don't ever want to be on the inside of the Military Prison ! ! ! I know a few guys who did some time for even minor offenses, in Vietnam, and else where, and it even seems that the guards can get away with murder! Best to follow orders and keep your nose clean. I had a good record and even awarded the "Good Conduct Medal" after all my service time was completed.
But now, USMJ says: that in time of war, anyone sleeping or drinking on guard duty COULD stand before a firing squad and shot ! The same goes for RAPE, in a time of declared war, if found guilty, that soldier would suffer the same fate, end, shot ! Now, having said all that, I am sure that some bad, nasty, illegal things do happen in war and conflict. Those people are either caught, or they seem to get away with those bad deeds. I am sure that some Crusaders committed rape, illegal killings, murder, burnings, etc. But in the heat of battle when you see you best buddy's guts all hanging out and you know that he WILL die, with nothing that YOU can do to help.... things go a-rye.... sorry. In the end, God will judge us all. But the Muslims have a super long, bloody history of conquest, a long trail of blood and aggression !! Somehow God allowed the Crusades and Christianity to be victorious so that we could all continue living, and still hold on to our Faith in Christ, and the KJV Bible ! PTL = Praise the Lord !
I have traced my own German linage back to the 15th Century, and often wonder if there are some kinsmen left in the old Country with my same last name. Wow! Well, when you are forced to fight for survival, and/ or you Christian Faith in Lord Jesus, you fight well, for the relative Freedom to practice your own Faith without being afraid that someone might enter the back of the church with a weapon to kill innocent Believers ! I can't even imagine how it is for my brothers and sisters of like Faith to keep what little they have left, after all the terrors of Islam in many countries. I would say: "Get the heck out of Dodge !!" And from my knowledge of history and the way our own country is headed, it just could come to pass, when we are alerted that Christianity is outlawed, in America ! Ahhhh, I bet you all think that I am CRAZY. But, friends and readers, I was not raised to just lay down and get shot in the back of the head, or give up my hard won properties, goods and arms, without a good fight !
Gentlemen and Ladies, I know that all the plastics we use and cook in every day are POISONING us all, to where many men are starting to act too feminine and squirrely. We get "bisphenol A" BPS estrogen like stuff -- from all the plastics we use [also in the water and air we breathe, etc] all the time, and it seems like there is no escaping it.
OK, I am wrong, on occasion, but I am correct 9 times out of 10, all the time, and I do deep, hard, serious research all the time, reading for 4-6 hours per day! Let's read, Psalm 34: 19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. 20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21. Evil [deceit, deception, cunning, craftiness, trickery] shall slay the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants; and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate [uninhabited, deserted, barren, lifeless]." I like to use my DEFINED KJV Bible, so that I can get the original, pure rendition of what the authors meant as it applied to those who wrote it in the first place ! I hope you all don't mind my added definitions. So, being a true Christian is the greatest thing ever, because we know that if we MUST DIE, the very next thing we will experience is life in heaven with Jesus and many other folks just like us.... no more hunger, tears, bad violent things, but only pure happiness and fun things to do ! God needs SOME true Martyrs to prove to Satan that God's people are willing to give up their lives on earth because they Love Jesus! But the majority of us on earth today will not see death --- but the great, grand Rapture will be our instant ride HOME !
On the other hand, Islam teaches that the man will get 72 virgin women or girls in their concept of heaven....but we always ask: what do the females get in heaven ? ? ? Seems like they are still 2nd class citizens up there, too. Is this what a loving, merciful God would do, to reward women and girls, who already have a hard, dangerous life on earth, getting beat half to death at the whim of their hubby's ? My, My....it doesn't look like Apple Pie to me. The KJV Bible teaches all men to LOVE, HONOR, RESPECT, AND TAKE CARE OF OUR WOMEN and girls on earth. I love my dear Terri to pieces and try to treat her will kindness, and generosity, even if we disagree on some things and argue! I love to give her many hugs and kisses, and enough cash and credit for her to take care of her business, etc. And I pay off my bills as soon or earlier as I can. She replaced the terrible ache in my heart about 3-4 years ago, when I lost both my passed wife, and my only, beloved son, Andy. She also SAVED MY VEY LIFE HER IN HER OWNED HOUSE TWO - 2- TIMES since we've been married. I WOULD HAVE DIED WITHOUT HER INTERVENION, as she got me to the hospital in time. My mind is just now assimilating all of this now, and I am trying hard to change my evil ways and treat her with more kindness, compassion and real love. Ha! Don't we all know, that when you first meet a lady, they just want to go dancing, running and traveling big time, but your legs are hurting from former injuries, Arthritis, knee replacements, etc.... but after you do get married to the woman, all of a sudden, every hurt, joint, pain and aches attack her all at once.... lol, and all she does if she isn't SHOOPING, is to lay on the couch and moan. SMILE ! LAUGH! Oh.... just kidding ladies ! Cut me some slack !
But just think, for the first time in her life, she can afford to have her joints, pains, health matter taken care of, because she finally has someone who also worked hard for the past 30.5 years, who has good health insurance and a pension from Chrysler, etc. I love the book of Ecclesiastes, and chapter 4, and verses 9, 10 and 11: "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10: For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. 11. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat; but how can one be warm alone?" "12: And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." [that means: if a couple also have God with them, they are pretty safe and secure!].
Be Warned. Beware. Be Advised: Christians DO have the right, from God, to defend themselves, and especially against the horrors and violence from Islam! ! Centuries ago, my people in the Old Europe had, and learned the sword, the knife and the Ax, for defense, and serving our war lords. Now days, our said, threatening enemies of Islam have said that they will conquer and destroy US, and they also have automatic fire arms, etc. I think, IMHO, that we ought to have more than just our old swords on the walls, now days, to meet the challenge, but the current administration of Liberals wants to stripe us all arms, so that when Islam rises up from AMOUNGST US, WE WILL BE EASY PREY ! Well, Mom didn't raise a bunch of stupid, worthless dummies.... duh, sorry. I just happen to be an expert sharpener of "edged weapons" and also teach the right folks how to throw them accurately, etc. At least I can still TEACH, and help folks to lean how to weld, also.
