Hello  Friends,
    I am telling many people that I fully intend to move back to Wisconsin, USA, in the Spring time, to return to my closer friends and family.   It's been  a wild ride living so far North, close to Canada, near Iron Mountain, MI., and there are always good points and bad points.   I am sure that if I had someone to share my good life with me in a LTR --long term relationship, or marriage,  things might well have been different.   And when I do travel back to my old stomping grounds near Milwaukee, Kenosha,  Burlington,  I get that sudden anxiety of being left in a dizzy, high speed, "rat race."   I don't want to live in a big city, because we all know that the Democrats have turned those loose places into ghettos and islands of Welfare and crime.    Ha!   I honestly couldn't AFFORD the high insurance because of theft, robberies, high crimes and assaults, and then I'd be temped to use my "hardware" on the animals.   But the country, and smaller towns are nice.    
     So,  as always,  it's a 'trade-off,' of sorts.   The people U.P. here in Northern Michigan are born poor, and live on venison and wild turkey, etc., and even if they have a good skill or education, they still won't  earn/ make much money to 'get ahead' of the game.   Most of the people are truly friendly, especially at the local VAMC [Veterans Administration Medical Center] in Iron Mtn., MI.,  but that is a "Vet Thing" and we all stick together nice and close... and take care of each other.    I also use it as a 'contact place' to expand my small Christian ministry of sorts, handing out [discreetly], Bible Tracts, Inc.  papers that I carry inside my wallet, etc.   I feel the Holy Spirit working in me to accomplish that purpose.   I guess I am also hooked on my humble Blog [Ministry], too.   I sometimes translate a paragraph in German,  because next to America, that country is my 2nd largest reader... although now days,  I'd bet that most Germans read and understand English, too.     I was in that fine country in early 1968, U.S. Army, and never completely got it out of my blood....   just like Vietnam,  and Wisconsin.  


As I already told a few friends today, the weather was so snowy, windy, and the roads were so slippery,  that I would have loved to just stay inside the whole day and rest,  but I needed to mail some bills/ etc., so I just put the old Dodge in 4WD, and went to town to have another great Mexican lunch, and they know me very well at that place, too.   I ate 30 hot peppers today, and 'SOMETHING' gave me a little heart burn,  but I enjoyed the food so much !!   It's hard for me to walk a long distance with my cane,  and you probably know that story about the Milwaukee VAMC messing up my Right knee replacement surgery about 6 years ago, so that now I have the Right leg about 3/4 of an inch shorter than the Left, and that is causing pain, as they made me a CRIPPLE !    So now,  what mature lady wants a man with a cane, who cannot walk too much or run, etc ??   I might see a legal eagle about this case.    I sure don't want to go through another hard surgery, and all by myself, again !   I am just waiting for God to do what He promised...  to Rapture us at the right time, or His choosing.  
     If I could just find an old friend down in Kenosha, WI., so I could scout the area out for this Spring, and maybe get a deal to rent or buy --- and line a few buddies up to help me move .....  Hummmmm. 
      And it's also about time I called my nice, cleaning lady, to help me organize and clean here, where I live, before things get too, 'out of control,' and messy.   I do the dishes now, and also love my new 'Crock Pot' /  Slow Cooker.   it won't be the first time that I've spend Christmas and New Year's alone.
     I also plan to hold on tighter to my money and other goods in the house, etc., instead of giving too much of it away to people who then use me as a door mat, and after they get the goods, they just can't ever be bothered and don't want to be seen in public with me....  Ha!   I THINK I got my head on right now....  but I am sometimes STUPID, and a Slow Learner.    I don't ever want to "buy" someone's so-called, friendship !!    No matter, in a year or so, many people even in the USA will be 'selling themselves' for one hot meal !   I just won't be around any more.


I also wish I could find some of my old movies that might still be buried in unpacked boxes.    I don't want to be completely unpacked here, even after a year,  because I just want to get out of Dodge !   The VA is even helping me to find different groups near by to find new friends.    Still looking for a Christian church that doesn't want to poke their nose into all my past affairs and privacy.    Well,  Winter is always harder to get around with the snow and ice.  
     You just have to watch yourself -- that you don't get attach to a "User" who wants to milk you, and control YOUR life, and then steals from you, and betrays you to others.   Many people have told me that, "it is better to be alone and lonely,  than to get taken and ripped off by some sly, sneaky, "user."   People USE others to make a living off them, just like those Remora fish that "attach" themselves to the shark, and live on the little chunks of flesh that he missed when he ate another fish in the sea.   And People will soon become more Predatory in the months to come, when things finally go down hill, and our American dollar becomes worthless, or a new World Currency becomes 'King of the Mountain,' as we were for 100 years or so.    Even God's love and mercy has LIMITS.   But there is plenty of room in hell.


When I finally lay down in my King size comfortable bed, under the warm covers,  all my sore bones settle into peace and harmony, and much of my pain subsides...  Thank God !   And I then thank Father God, again, for another day of life, mercy, pure water to drink, and good food, and gas in my tank, etc.   Like I said before,  I just wish I could help a few homeless people out of the cold,  but who can you really trust that won't steal you blind, or kill you in your sleep ? ?   And that's another reason we all pray... for wisdom and understanding.

Hi  Friends,
   I get tired faster in the cold Winter, windy  weather, but I had a good, productive,  VAMC appointment meeting today, and got a few other things done,  too.   I told my intake lady there how stupid I was for giving a $$$ 'gift' to a loco -- local woman that I know, that I felt sorry for as she needed it for an important repair job,  but later on she just didn't even have the time to call me on the phone.... and she usually treats me like used toilet tissue, AFTER I help her on like that..... so I truly am a very STUPID fellow, and I told the VA lady that someone ought to shoot me in the head, the next time I give my hard earned money away like that, when I could have been paying off my own bills, etc. !!   
       Some one sent me a nice pair of leather, fur lined Moccasins in the mail /  at my door step, today,  but I don't know whom.   I didn't order them, and I didn't yet try them on,  but am flattered that someone had the kindness and compassion to send them to me.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH !   I even consider that a small miracle ...LOL.   I really don't have a family anymore,  but I know that where I am now is not a good place to be, all alone and cold, in  a drafty old house that leaks cold air in and wastes my fuel/ heat dollars... as I am just renting her until I can get the hell our of Dodge City.... lol.     There was no return address or attached tag, so it's just a mystery to me, at this point.


I was also very interested in reading the short article down below today, about our collapsing Financial system and economy, that has been propped up by the Obama Administration, the Fed, and the Big Banksters, who didn't want to make Obama look so bad on his watch, even though he did as much as he could to destroy America, and he isn't finished yet.   And just look at his record breaking attempt to free all the drug pushers and other criminals from prison before he walks  out of the WH that he polluted.   Mr. Trump is going to have a hard time getting all the illegal drugs vacuumed and washed  out of the carpeting, nooks and crannies,   when the  'hired help' moves out  next month.... LOL.  
    Now,  are we really sure that Hillary LOST yet ???  Duh....  Or are the  'Dims' going to dream up /  cook up some more bogus baloney again ?   What a bunch of sorry ass, losers and sour grapes, and I have never seen anything like this before in my 67 years on planet earth !!   Give me a break, please !   The angels above must be laughing so hard at all the moronic antics that we humans perform for their amusement.... Ha!   The entire world is a stage as we entertain them.  


But, in the mean time,  back at the ranch,  I always like to get an "edge" and be in the "Know" about smart ideas, concepts, great investments that I might be able to get a piece of the action, so that the author, Mac Slavo, wrote for us to scarf up here today, so please pay attention.   Here, I thought that investing in gold, would be a better way to go,  but Mac seems to think that Silver might be more sensible and prudent.    Hummmmm...   Personally, I think it's good to have/ invest in both....  but one minute after the Rapture comes and goes,  it won't amount to a bucket of spit !   Because no body can 'buy their way into heaven.'    And besides that,  the streets of heaven are reported to be paved with GOLD !
       I have many fine, wonderful, true blue, friends on the InterNet, and perhaps 95% of them have limited resources here on earth,  but they all put 100% of their Trust and Faith in God's Promises, and so do I !   As  I have said on this humble Blog, so many times,  what we have and save up here,  is only good  for / profitable ---- between NOW.... and the Rapture, and nothing else. !   For instance,  if we were to be 'caught up in the air'  ..... Raptured by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, tonight, but our relatives and offspring are not.... what good will our "Precious things" left behind   do/ or benefit them ? ?   Knowing that they would have to literally "lose their heads to get into Paradise, is not a thrilling prospect.    And remember,  when all the Saints are lifted up into heaven --- so goes the Holy Spirit, too !   So, let us reason on this fact,  if we are struggling now WITH the help of the H.S.,  how will the people "Left Behind"  on earth work things out, and cope with the wild, horrible happenings ...  a prelude to Hell  ??  
     Now,  I don't lust after women or stare at Pornography,  but I surely MISS being with some  nice, normal, kind, friendly lady, and taking her out for a great lunch or supper, going to church with her, talking, holding hands, etc.  In fact, I do very well in a good marriage !    I told the lady, Lea, at the VA today, that every time I have to come in for something,  I feel so comfortable with my fellow, Brother Veterans surrounding me, and we all greet each other, nod our head, and say complimentary, kind things, like,  "Welcome Home," and Merry Christmas, etc.   And it also gives me a chance to hand out my small ministry of,  "Bible Tracts, Inc.,"  little bible tracts that I keep some in my wallet, in case I strike up a nice conversation in the "Waiting Room."    I also give some of the Vet's my own business card, and invite them our for breakfast, or just to talk, etc.,  because I could surely use the comradery and companionship, up in this cold frigid waste land.    We Christians call that:   "Soul Winning."    But being a goof ball, none of the women I picked as my wife was ever a real Christian before I married her !   Only ONE lady became a good Christian,  and her name was Sharon L. Schuckman,  and  we loved each 0ther so much, until I lost her in death, about 6 years ago, and that just crushed my poor old heart.   I think that MOST women now days, with their 'Women's Lib' -- Independent attitude of thinking,  never  pay attention to what the KJV Bible says about marriage being forever, or until one of them dies !!   And I am not talking about servitude, but a simple, legal, working, partnership, as the man should LOVE his wife, as he does himself, be generous, loving, kind and considerate of her as is humanly possible.    Ha!  Sorry,  those days are long, gone.    Well, I was never a Saint,  but I was generous, kind, and loving.     But here is a very valuable piece of advice for all men.....  NEVER, ever, move into with woman who owns her own house !   Because the first time she wakes up with a head ache, or in a bad mood,  you might just get KICKED OUT OF HER HOUSE !!    And... always have your own stash of money, gold, and silver, in case you get kicked out of her house, in the middle of   Winter, or when ever !    And here is a warning for all the arrogant women:   'Never kick a combat Veteran when he is down !'   God doesn't like that....
    And now days, our kids, grown up or not, bad mouth their elders/ parents and abuse them terribly, with 'potty mouth,' and verbal abuse, total disrespect,  etc.   If I were to have talked to my father like that, he would have slapped my head OFF, and I would never again be eating corn on the cob, either !!   Ha!  I guess I won't be moving to CO...  lol.   I will not be abused, period, nor pressured, forced, nor stripped of the little dignity that I have left.    I know the score, and I value my independence.  Better that I die in a ditch somewhere, or in the deep Northern Woods, than abused by my kids.   Sorry,  but that's the truth, and the end of it.

    Right now I am also trying to save up to move down South to my home, Wisconsin, this Spring time, and since I walk with a cane,  I will need a lot of cash money, to pay for some hired help.    I am not looking forward to that hard day, for sure,  but there is nothing U.P. here for me anymore,  except super laid back goof balls, ignorance, and slow thinkers.... LOL.    And just because someone attends church on a regular basis, doesn't mean that they are real Christians, one tiny bit !!    The rent, property, insurance is all lower,  but so is the low pay, wages, and the mind set....Ha!   In fact, the average I.Q. --U.P. here is about that of a potato !     I will miss the good, kind, help at the local VAMC in Iron Mountain, MI.,  but they never do any serious surgery, but they have to 'farm it out' to Green Bay, WI., or Milwaukee,  and I will never, ever allow any fakes and butchers at the Milwaukee VA TOUCH ME AGAIN !   I truly messed up when I let those horrible butchers truly good up my Right knee replacement surgery, in Milwaukee VAMC,   so that now, my Right leg is shorter than my Left, and they both hurt now, as they made me a cripple and messed up the rest of my life, and relationships !!    What woman now days wants a man who has to walk with a cane, or in a power scooter.   Remember that ALL  the women of the world LOVE TO DANCE 24/ 7, non-stop, forever !   That's right, dance, dance, dance, is what they all put on their dating profiles !    But as soon as you marry them,  they collapse and cannot ever clean the house, nor have ANY energy for love making, ever !!     But they might be wearing their dancing shoes to bed, and at the store, when you give them your money.... LOL. 


IMHO,  I am glad and proud that I voted for DJ Trump this year, and believe him to be very smart and highly intelligent.   But the world situation of the slow burning, downward spiral that the economy is doing right now may be more than "the King and his court" can handle, and in time, the castle will crumble, just like the hidden 'shadow gov't and world elite' want it to happen.   We might end up lie South America or Africa in the long term.   It's like a small fire, getting out of hand and then burning down the whole forest.   Sorry to bring you this news.... or my, and other's opinion.   But better to be safe than sorry.   I cannot afford to give any more of my goodies, cash, money and other things away anymore.... sorry, again.   And I never get anything in return,  not even a stinking phone call.   Well,  I might be slow, and old,  but not a mental midget.

The One Thing Doug Casey Is Very Confident Of: “We’re Going To Have Financial Chaos… It’s A Dangerous Situation”

Doug Casey is the founder of Casey Research and well known for his forecasting prowess, having accurately called the crash of 2008 and many other trends over the last four decades. In his latest interview with Future Money Trends Casey explains what a Donald Trump Presidency will mean for financial markets, economic stimulus, and geo-politics. As he’s noted previously, 2008 was just the first part of the storm and we are rapidly approaching the trailing edge of the hurricane. This time around it’s going to last much longer and be much worse than what we experienced before.
In short, as Casey succinctly explains:

The one thing I feel very confident of is we’re going to have financial chaos in years to come and that’s going to drive people into gold and to a lesser degree into silver.
…

There’s absolutely  no reason from  fundamental point of view for bonds and stocks to be as high as they are right now… We’re in for a huge political, financial, demographic and military upset… these people might start World War III or seem like they’re trying to with the Russians… It’s a very dangerous situation.

With Donald Trump set to take office in late January 2017, Casey believes his infrastructure initiatives will be a boon for the commodities industry:

I really believe him. I think that they’re going to push for doing lots of infrastructure in the U.S. and that’s going to take a lot of metals, so that’s a favorable short-term influence for metals… I can be talked into buying a copper or zinc or cobalt stock, but I want to stick with gold… and also uranium… I really think that the future of power generation is going to be in solar related things…. but at the present moment, by far the cheapest, the cleanest and the safest form of mass power generation is still nuclear… that’s exactly the opposite of what everybody is told… but especially if we have a de-regulated environment in the future, nuclear is going to do well… There are about 150 new nuclear plants under construction around the world… most of them in China and India… I’m very bullish on uranium… it’s selling below the cost of production.

But despite President Trump’s best efforts, says Casey, he won’t be able to stop the bloodbath coming in the bond market, a preview of which has been available for all to view in China, where the government halted trading last week following a record bond market crash.

People forget that the last peak in interest was between 1980-1982 when T-Bills were yielding over 16%… since then interest rates have been in a 35 year bear market going to below zero, which i thought was metaphysically impossible… So, interest rates are going to go up… Low interest rates and negative interest rates are actually destructive of capital and civilization because it discourages people from savings.

It doesn’t matter what these stupid governments do… interest rates are headed up… and I think they’re headed way up for a long time at this point… so if you own bonds sell them… hit the bid. 

Ever the skeptic when it comes to information, disinformation and misinformation emanating from the mainstream media, Casey warns that the narratives being spun to divide Americans are dangerous to the stability of the nation and could lead to civil war:

It’s extremely serious.. The real fake news is what you hear on CNN, MSNBC, and even Fox… I don’t trust anything I hear… the mass media is basically the mouthpiece of the deep state… these people that have the money and have the power and basically treat the rest of the country as peons… they’re very dangerous… I actually think that the U.S. is on the ragged edge of a civil war… because the people that elected Trump are hated on a visceral level by the preachers that are around the Democratic Party and the Deep State, and that includes Republicans…

The Link down below talks about Obama's own admission [for the wise ones who know how to pick out those 'shadow words/ terms'], explained here by the experts who know his mind.   I am  a  firm believer in the KJV Bible that teaches the truth about humankind, about LIES and deceptions that almost always come out in the wash,  sooner or later.   God sees everything, and forgets nothing, and I have the scriptural proof to answer all those questions, anytime you like.   I often quote scriptures to reinforce my thoughts and ideas,  because there is no higher 'Authority' in the Universe but for Our Father in Heaven !   He 'trumps everything, and every body.'   Satan, the 'rebel,' always paints a different picture... all the way back to Genesis and the first human couple, and beguiled the woman.     He will always pick on the 'weakest link,'  the new, younger ones who do not have a strong back ground in the Word of God, the Bible,  the ignorant, etc.   Now, that is not a slam on women, per say,  but he knows that women are more emotional, where as men think with pure logic....  we hope... LOL.   So then, men automatically add up:  2 plus 2, and get 4, so usually they are not so easily deceived.   It sometimes seems like more women are true Believers in Jesus Christ, than men, as the world is growing so ungodly, selfish, lustful, dishonest and violent.    I usually see more women in the church than men, so maybe the jury is out yet.  


I have a feeling that we just might get a few tons of pure Truth poured out on us all, pretty soon, as more concrete revelations come out.... such as Sheriff Joe Arpaio  [sp?] has just disseminated his legal, accurate, findings and proof about the illegal activities of Mr. Obama, breaking Federal Law in becoming POTUS, and not being a U.S. citizen.   Yes !   You all need to finally read and hear this stuff, and heads will roll.   And there have already been too many murders to cover up all this probing, truth, and facts/ investigations, and threats, payoffs, etc.    It won't be pretty.   The guilty will certainly pay in the long run,  but they already have their ticket to ride a fast jet to places unknown, in countries where they can hide, and the deals are already done and paid for !!  The Clintons too !   
     I figure, right around that time, the Lord will also come back to Rapture His Believers.... but that's just my opinion.   I believe one thing...  He will come when most folks are NOT expecting Him !   And that's the way He wants it.  
     I may be suffering, emotionally now,  but hoping and trusting in the Lord's Promises, for sure.   
    
I don't know why this early Winter seems to cold to me,  but I am buying some more special WARM clothes,  and feel so sorry to those who are homeless and cold in the USA !!  Believe it or not,  combat Veterans make up a large portion of the homeless, and Obama is to blame for much of it !   He did very little to correct the VA problems for his 8 stinking years, while golfing all over the warm climates and taking lavish vacations along with his family !   I heard that Hell hath yuge  [sic]  gapping   jaws and plenty of room !   Yet, honestly,  I am not too worried about other folks --- my own salvation.    I already know that I am Saved, and where I am going, only because the bible teaches that all true Believers who love and try to follow Christ, are Saved, and they have the Holy Spirit, too.   Yet,  I still always ask for my 'followers'/ friends/ readers' Prayers.   I can never get too  many prayers for myself.  And I can never have too many friends.  
    I have learned that I am not the almighty, strong, powerful man I once THOUGHT I was, and now realize my many imperfections, faults, stupid mistakes, most every day that I draw oxygen from the air.    Forgiveness is very important to me, even as I try to make amends for past mistakes.   But some folks know how to milk these feelings of guilt by pouring it on, in anyway they can.  Those people are just evil and contemptible, IMHO.   So far North, U.P. where I live, close to Canada, in this huge refrigerator,  it's hard to find real friends, who also Christians that don't smoke.   Plus,  there are a lot of false, churches, that CLAIM to be Christian, but don't follow the Bible...  just greedy for money.   I wish I could find a good church near me... to meet more nice people and worship all together in these last days.

Hi  Friends,
    As the bible says,  'Come,  let us reason together...'   Another saying goes like this:   'The enemy of my enemy, is my friend.'   What it all boils down to, IMHO [in my humble opinion] is:   If you consider/  ponder on these things.... that some people hate you for being a Christian, and try to lead a life following our Savior and Lord,  Jesus Christ, it's not that hard to figure things out !
      In the book of Matthew 24: 9, it Jesus said,  'And ye shall be hated by all the nations for my name's sake.'   He was talking about the last days of the Gentiles.... of this Wicked system of things, of the 'Last Days' right before His return to claim  "His Bride"  --- Rapturing up His followers ! !   You see, if a person, or a nation bares many children during some bad, poor, times [era],  those kids/ grow and think, "Well,  this must be the natural way of things,  because this is all we've known all our lives !"   However,  the older ones, people MY age [in their 60's, and older] can still remember when we NEVER LOCKED OUR HOUSE DOORS OR CARS !!   We even left the car keys IN THE CAR as we went shopping, etc. !!   Ha!  Now leaving your keys in your car is illegal in many places, and just asking for trouble !   See/  Understand what I am saying, dear friends and readers ?   So,  please read the full chapters of Matthew 24, and 25, plus the 2 books of Timothy, to find out just how these "Last Days" of evil,  before the Lord Jesus comes back are going to be.    Things were not ALWAYS that way in America, and you might even say that it was almost a grand Paradise to which so many other people wanted to get in, and prosper, with freedom and peace !!    Actually,  so many combat Veterans, from WW-2, and onward never dreamed things would deteriorate like we see now, with crime, gross immorality, drugs, violence, rape, murder... especially punks killing cops, big time !    Yes,  some cops are total jerks and dishonest, and should be fired or more,  but the majority are just trying to do their jobs and protect us !   The fact is,  we combat Veterans feel robbed and cheated that our Gov't let things get so out of hand, to where you cannot walk the streets at night !   And more firearms were purchased during Prez Obama's watch,  because the violence is just to rampant, and in many places, the punks, and Muslims want to rule whole cities --- like certain parts of Detroit, MI, and the USA, and Chicago, with a Democrat mayor and some of the most strictest gun laws, has the dubious title of having the most murders and shootings in the USA.  


So,  here is the thing I am trying to get across....  why would the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran, and Al-Qaeda, be so Angered by Hillary's defeat ??   Conventional wisdom is that Hillary is soft on crime and planned to ship in tens of thousands more of radical Islamists than Obama !   That is the best way to tear down our American Society.... just as being done in Northern Europe,  where Sweden is now the 'rape capital of the world !'   The streets of Germany are now controlled by the radical Islamists/ Muslims, who rape the women and children at will,  and always get away scot free!    It's just a big old 'love fest' for them !   You see, when I was in Germany in early 1968,  crap like that would have NEVER been tolerated !  Never !   But now, even in the USA, our laws have been perverted and the courts let the guilty go with very short sentences, if at all.... with Liberal Judges, etc.   Well,   I am sure that looking upon Mr. DJ Trump makes the fearful, and gets them pause.... LOL !   Frankly, I am betting that most Patriots,  Christians, and  Veterans are feeling a gush of pride, happiness, Joy and Hope, right now.  Mr. Trump is certainly not a perfect man for the job....  but he is just what we need right now, and his cabinet picks are OUTSTANDING !!  We don't know what the near future will bring,  but no one can stop us from feeling some American Pride and Happiness, right now.  PTL. 


Mr. Trump will face some major problems and 'YUGE' challenges as soon as he gets sworn in on Jan. 20th, and we all need to pray for him and his family ever single day.  But for now, we can and should rejoice....  as the immoral, lowlife Left is crying like little babies, every day, and blaming everyone except themselves, as the public saw thru all their corruption, lies, dirty tricks and illegal, immoral moves.    You know what, friends,  sooner or later the truth is going to start bubbling to the top for all to see, and if the LEFT had won,  they would have just swept it all under the rug, as usual.    Sorry,  I just have no respect for them.... and once a liar,  always a LIAR !    And I am convinced that some of them are purely satanic and rotten to the core !   But after the Rapture,  I won't even care one tiny bit !!
     And I highly suspect that Father God is keeping me single, for a special reason right now...  although it is tough to be alone all the time.   I still have a good pension and great health benefits... as God has blessed me in many ways.   I just may relocate farther South to Wisconsin, this Spring...  but we shall see.   I just don't  know any one U.P. here, no matter how hard I try to be kind, friendly, and gracious.   Perhaps the harder times and the wicked, evil spirit that rules the world right now, has made so many ladies, tough, hard, materialistic, money hungry, and Christian women are just really hard to find, now days, IMHO.    Tell me if I am wrong.
      And I think I will buy a nice ham on the bone, for Christmas time.   If I knew anybody, I might invite them over to share a meal, or just talk and have fun.   But...  Thank YOU, dear Lord, for all the blessings you bestow upon me every day !

Top Arab Journalist: Iran, Al-Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood Angered by Trump’s Election

TEL AVIV – The emergent Trump administration is “the first time that we see Washington officials who realize the facts on the ground and frankly declare that they will not accept blackmail or keep silent over extremist and terrorist regimes,” Abdulrahman al-Rashed, an acclaimed journalist and former editor-in-chief of London-based leading Arab daily Asharq Al-Awsat, said.

In an oped titled “Which Muslims Are Against Trump?” published Tuesday in Al Arabiya, Rashed said that Muslims should not be afraid of President-elect Donald Trump’s “intentions” for the Muslim and Arab world. On the contrary, writes Rashed, the ones who are leading the fear-mongering campaign by “claiming Washington was willing to launch war on one billion Muslims” are radical Muslim groups and tyrannical regimes – including, chiefly, Iran – because Trump and his newly appointed officials have sworn to topple them.
“We understand that Hillary Clinton’s defeat in the elections angered the Muslim Brotherhood. What fueled the latter’s anger was how Trump received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in New York earlier this year,” Rashed said in reference to Trump’s September meeting with the Egyptian leader, which prompted the latter to declare he had “no doubt” the president-elect would make a strong leader.
“It’s on this basis that they try to picture Trump’s administration as racist and as an enemy of Islam and Muslims,” he continued.
“Iran, Al-Qaeda, and Islamic groups like the Muslim Brotherhood” are the chief objectors to Trump’s choice of appointments, Rashed writes.

Rashed, who also served as the executive director of Al Arabiya News Channel, cited Trump’s pick for secretary of defense, General James Mattis, as one example. While Mattis has “clearly and frankly voiced hostility,” it was only “against terrorist organizations.”

“[Mattis] also has frank stances against what Iran is doing in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon,” Rashed continues.

He also cites General Michael Flynn, Trump’s pick for national security adviser, as another example.
Flynn “has also made outspoken speeches against extremist Islamic groups. Many have used these speeches to indicate that he is hostile against Islam and Muslims,” he notes.
“Truth be told, what General Flynn said is what we ourselves say, that there is a dangerous virus inside Islamic society called extremism that has killed Muslims and threatened them everywhere and harmed them more than it even harmed the West and followers of other religions.”
“Hideous crimes were committed by extremist groups – the same ones that Flynn and Mattis call for confronting,” he adds.
Rashed writes that Mike Pompeo, whom Trump chose to manage “the most important foreign security institution, the CIA,” holds the same view as the others when it comes to “confronting terrorism” and is “aware of Iran’s sabotaging role in the region and the world.”

If we realize that those who are angered by these three appointments are Iran, Al-Qaeda, and Islamic groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, we can understand that the problem is not in Trump’s choices, but in these men’s project to confront terrorism which the former parties sponsor or at least benefit from.
The majority of Islamic countries agree with these state secretaries’ proposals and vision of the crisis that threatens the entire world. We, as Muslims, have for a decade and half now been engaged in a war against extremism and extremists, as an ideology and groups, and want the world to differentiate between Muslims and not put them all in one category and to stand with the majority of peaceful Muslims against this evil minority. It’s in our interest to deter regimes like Iran that support terrorist groups, be it Sunni or Shi’ite, and allies with them and engages in regional wars under dishonest slogans such as defending Islam or standing against the West.
