Great State of the Union Message tonight by President Donald Trump ! !     !  !

Hello  Friends and Readers:
     Thanks for tuning in on my humble Blog site, today !   Smile.   Big News is moving so fast in the world every loving day that causes many to pause and ponder..... including me.   And these 'Last Days' trying times surely put extra stress on FAMILIES and RELATIONSHIPS.  
      When people are used to living and supporting themselves,  but then enter into a new relationship ---'sparks fly.'   People are so set in their ways and just don't want to 'take order... or wishes...or suggestions,  from their marriage mate, even if the KJV BIBLE says and teaches that is what God wants and desires !   Just read the first book of the Bible --- Genesis and learn what is offered for our own good ! 
       Now, friends,  this good advice can surely go both ways --- to each spouse in any relationship.    We are all sinners, and so very imperfect from 'Adamic  sin,' back in the original Garden of Eden.... and the serpent, wicked, Satan, helped lure and tempt the WOMAN,  first !

Time spent researching  Scriptures and various subjects never hurt  anyone !!    That is....  'If the person reading the Bible has a pure, humble heart, wanting to learn and serve Father God,  better.   But we also see big shots and politicians pretending to "know the Word of God" but failing every time to get it right....Ha!   They are false 'Christians !'   And I know that I have yet a long way to go before I shed all the "works of the flesh !"   I have failed so many times....  sorry.   People in the "Know" understand that there is 'something evil in air,'  and I am sure that Mr. Trump can feel it too.
      For the record,  many non-Christians, are VERY GOOD PEOPLE.... willing to do good and help their fellow man !!    I have seen good Buddhists. and in-Believers from South East Asia, Europe, Germany, etc., who still NEED to find the Lord Jesus Christ, and do His Will  BEFORE the Lord comes back to 'correct this world and clean up all unrighteousness, evil, corruption, and then those 'Left Behind' will live under a "New set of Rules/ Laws."
      But still,  so many men and women just will not bend knee and gain humility in serving and obeying Christ, and His Raptured Bride Class in the New Heavens !!
      I know that you all don't want to hear more about our good Army training, and what happens to the jokers who refuse to obey orders --- as they mess things up or worse, for everyone around them !   And there is always some stupid jerk around  you that is a 'magnet for pain and punishment.'   I always hoped and prayed that it would never be me who messed up things, and unfortunately had to learn the hard way in life.....    But I made it back to the U.S.A. alive after 2 long tours in Vietnam:  68-70 !   However,  I still have a long way to go, working very hard for the next 30.5 years, until I had enough time to retire at age 54,  with FULL benefits from 3 different sources.   Smile.   The Lord has also smiled upon me,  Mr. Thomas G. Schuckman.   I also allowed a few other people close to me,  to retire early, and also taught them many useful things,  and hope that they count their learned blessings from God, etc.    I taught them the "Rule of 72," and Compound Interest.   But the Father God --Yahweh, and Lord Jesus will soon give them a wonderful BLESSING for eternity !   If I had even a tiny part in that --- I am happy for them, too.

Hi  Friends and avid Readers:
     I just sent for more Information in the form of a great, new book, that teaches all about cures for many diseases in the world.   In the past I have talked extensively about how messed up the AMA, and Big Pharma  $$$$$$ is.   Bottom line:   If they cannot make tons of money on their noxious concoctions and rip offs,   they will NOT market it.  Period.   What that boils down to is,  other advanced, well developed countries in the world often prescribe NATURAL HEALING HERBS, and other remedies that do CURE MANY diseases !  
       Sorry,  guys and gals,  but I have had MANY so-called, 'doctors' treat me like 'used toilet tissue', abuse me, and LIE TO ME !!   After I got home from the war in Vietnam:  68-70,  I decided to do a lot of reading, and studied healing Herbs for the past 40 years, and I live well because of my Herbal knowledge and other natural preparations.   I am tired and wary of surgery --- although a few times I would have died or got amputated for lack of expert surgery.   And please remember and be advised,  that the VA Hospitals regularly enlist the help of many 'imported doctors' and too many from Pakistan !   I know that everyone has to start somewhere in their life,  but I will NOT be a test rat for foreign 'doctors' who are training.... on ME !   OK,  I have heard many Veterans claim that the get/ got good service from the various VAMC's in America.   But I am not one of them,   sorry.  
       And even though our good President Trump has made a big difference in the VA system, etc.,  we are still far from even a "near perfect."   We are now seeing and hearing the truth about just how nefarious, corrupt, and evil parts of our Government are,  so anyway the head men/ leaders can steal more money illegally, and grow rich,  while Veterans still suffer and die long before their time !   That's why real, Bible smart, Christians are happy, content, because they KNOW for sure that,  "God cannot lie,"  --Titus 1: 2.   And all of Father God's promises MUST come true,  and millions of us believe that the Rapture COULD come at any time.....  See:  First Thessalonians 4: 17.      So we ought to be ready to meet the Lord, Jesus Christ, at any time.
 
Still,  we all want to protect, guard, take good care of ourselves and our loved ones,  so why not bone up/ investigate these workable new treatments and CURES that smart nations like Germany, Japan, etc. us every day, to cure and alleviate pain and suffering ? ?   Simple herbs like,  Ginger, for example, is the best thing for motion sickness and chills.   Proper Vitamins and Minerals are very important too.   I use my PC --Personal Computer, to search out and buy the good herbal extracts at low prices.   I like:  VitaCost.com,  to get the best, quick, delivery, to my doorstep.  
    Christians ought to be loving, by sharing Info like this,  IMHO.

Suicide: A Tragedy All Around.

Dear Friends,
     It's always the 'other guy or gal' that takes their life,  but Father God knows for sure what we do.   Unfortunately,  there is so much stress after being in real Combat as a Soldier.... after you get out of the Army and come home to start a 'real life.'   Remember,  always keep you documents in a dry, safe,  place.   They could just save your bacon !  


For the most part,  today was a great, sunny day, U.P. where I live,  as my wife went on a shopping trip --- also visited her best girl friend, in Escanaba, MI., U.S.A.  
      But like that nice song from the "Carpenters'" ---- 'Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down...'     So,  before we let something or somebody get us down --- TALK TO SOMEBODY AND SHARE YOUR FEELINGS !!   A Ph.D., at the Milwaukee VAMC advised me to keep on writing and hire a "proof reader" to polish my book up,  afterwards !    I also went to the Library at MATC,  to research many books on writing, etc.   'Rome wasn't built in one day.'     
        And you all need to learn to read and study the KJV Bible,  daily,  to get a well rounded education, and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.   Jesus is the ONLY way to get into heaven and see the Father --God--Yahweh.   
      OK,  not all combat Veterans are depressed or think too much about suicide,  but all  Veterans need to understand all the different facets of suicide !

Why Suicide Is a Tragedy All Around

Suicide has been in the news lately. An internet-video star explored a forest in Japan where people go to hang themselves. And he showed (at least partially) one such deceased man. This video caused understandable backlash.

Also there’s the news about a designer that promoted a fashion belt using a photo of a model with the belt around her neck (with the word “hanger” on her shirt)—seeming to suggest suicide. This caused such an uproar that the advertiser has taken down the images.
Finally, Olympic swimming champion (winner of 28 medals) Michael Phelps admitted that he had contemplated suicide and is now extremely grateful he did not pursue it.
Mental health treatment for Phelps’ depression helped, and today he helps others by sharing his story. He says he cherishes helping others come out of depression more “than winning the Olympic gold medal.” Phelps concludes: “I am extremely thankful that I did not take my life.”
All this gets me to thinking about the subject of taking one’s life. Suicide, of course, is not new. One man said, “Just as I choose a ship to sail in or a house to live in, so I choose a death for my passage from life.” That was from Seneca, who lived from 4 BC-AD 65.
The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) says on its website (nimh.nih.gov): “Over 40,000 people die by suicide each year in the United States; it is the 10th leading cause of death overall. Suicide is complicated and tragic but it is often preventable.”
Look for the potential warning signs of those you know. The NIMH lists the following as potential “signs that someone is thinking about suicide,” including:
“•Talking about wanting to die or wanting to kill themselves
  • Talking about feeling empty, hopeless, or having no reason to live
  • Using alcohol or drugs more often
  • Acting anxious or agitated
  • Withdrawing from family and friends
  • Giving away important possessions
  • Saying goodbye to friends and family
  • Putting affairs in order, making a will.”
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention encourages those contemplating suicide to instead call 1-800-273-TALK.
The Bible, far from advocating suicide, only shows it as a wicked act. There are five examples of suicide in the Scripture, of course, that of Judas Iscariot being the most prominent. That is not to say that all who fall prey to an act of depressed desperation are wicked; but it is to say that suicide is considered a wicked act.
In our book, What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?, D. James Kennedy and I wrote: “Christianity has long been a foe of suicide, in the ancient world and now in the modern world. Today the neo-pagan view is cheapening the value of human life all over again. In recent years, one of the nation’s best-selling books was a how-to manual on suicide.”
I knew someone personally who was going to commit suicide. He happened to go into his boss’s office at 7:00 in the morning. The lights were off, which usually meant the boss wasn’t there. Then my friend went to the window and started to open it—in order to jump out and plunge to his death several stories below.
Suddenly, out of the blue, he heard a voice, saying, “Smith, what are you doing?” Smith claimed he was just trying to open the window to get some fresh air—in his boss’s office 90 minutes before work? That young man later went on to become a Christian and was exceedingly grateful that he had not succeeded in his suicide attempt. So are those of us who knew him.
Our lives are not our own. Therefore, they are not our own to take. I realize sometimes people lose their minds and end up killing themselves. Meanwhile, anyone of sound mind who willfully takes his life should be aware the spiritual consequences.
I remember one time at a Christian radio station I received a call from a listener who was distraught. His wife had left him, and he wanted to end it all. He asked me if he, as a Christian, would still go to heaven even if he killed himself. I told him that it would be awful to find out the hard way that he wouldn’t. He called me a few months later, very happy he had not killed himself—and that his wife had come back to him.
Sometimes we can go through difficult periods. Perhaps they are times of testing. But to paraphrase C. S. Lewis: “Never doubt in the dark what the Lord has shown you in the light.”
Life is a gift from God. As one elderly lady who was in very bad health put it: “Only He who gave us life has the right to take life.”

Hello Friends:
     I got some pleasant, news today at the local,  Iron Mountain, MI.,  VAMC !   I lost 5 pounds !  That is so much better than GAINING more pounds, on this poor old man --- Ha!   I am trying harder to stay away from Soda Pop, and I must try harder to not cheat on my diet in the future.   I have a new Nutritionist, a younger guy who was in the Navy.   So I think he will work out well, plus I want to start lifting some weights again, soon.   That's the plan.  


Friends,  I know how much other moral people in the U.S.A. really want to be and think, positive, now that our great President Trump is taking the lead in changing things for the better, with all of his "Know How,"  but after you read the following short story of his newest appointment for a new slot in his "machine"  or "Organization,"  you too will probably get that sick feeling of despair --- that the whole world is drifting lower into a pit of evil.   The KJV Bible makes this very clear !   Just TRY reading the book of Revelation, about the "End Times."   Find out how the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback into the newly established slot.    And the 2 -- RINO 'senators' trying to dump him.  
        Remember,  it was Satan's contention that mankind should have the 'right' to govern themselves.....  but Father God --Yahweh said,  "No !"   This central idea of "Ruler ship" is interlaced thru the entire Bible.    Man has proved for the last 6000 years that he cannot govern himself --- even with Democracy !   Bit by dirty revelation bit,  we will all see just how dirty, depraved, imperfect, sinful, full of corruption things are in the world, now matter where we live.   Sorry to burst your bubble,  friends.   But Father God in Heaven had to give mankind an even, long enough chance on Earth to prove to his angels, also the rebellious Satan and his many demons,  what He has known all along.  


It seems to me,  the longer I have been in deep study of the Bible  --- the more humble I feel against the Father's mighty Wisdom and Power.   And the longer I live following God's own Word, the KJV Bible,  the more I love Him and Jesus Christ, better equipped to share my knowledge with other people all over the world.  Places like Norway, Portugal, Canada, Russia, China, and France, love to read my humble Blog:  TOM'S JOURNAL.  The U.S.A.,  too.

Republican Governor Resigns to take Role with the Trump Administration

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback (R-KS) has announced his resignation, effective January 31st, and his plans to take a role in the Trump administration.

President Trump nominated Governor Brownback to be his ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom.



According to Kansas state law, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer will now step in to finish Brownback’s term as Governor.
The Senate confirmation vote, normally a formality for ex-Senators, was nothing of the sort this time around. The Democrat caucus rallied together to offer unified opposition to Brownback’s confirmation. Why? Because Governor Brownback supports traditional marriage, and has defended religious liberty in Kansas. For these “sins” Brownback has been labeled a homophobe and a bigot by Democrats.
A 49 – 49 tie (Republican Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Bob Corker (R-TN) were both missing for the vote, leaving the GOP shorthanded) in the Senate forced Vice President Mike Pence to step in and push Brownback’s confirmation across the line.

What makes the Democrat opposition most egregious is the fact that if President Trump had nominated a LGBTQ person who believed that gay rights trumped religious freedom to the post of ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom Democrats would have most likely supported that nomination happily.
This is the twisted nature of the Democrat Party today. They believe that it is more important to defend their current values and beliefs than it is to defend everyone’s RIGHTS.
It’s a sick and twisted Democrat Party we see ensconced in Washington, D.C. today and this vote on Governor Brownback’s confirmation are more evidence of how dark their minds have become.
As Ambassador-at-large for International Religious Freedom, Governor Brownback will never have anything to do with any with anything LGBTQ. His job will be to advocate for persecuted Christians in the rest of the world, of which there are hundreds of millions.
Governor Brownback will serve as an excellent ambassador for our persecuted brothers and sisters across the planet because he is one of them. Hopefully, he will take to heart how big and important his new role is and he will use his seasoned experience as a politician to help defend our Christian siblings around the world.
