At least we both made it to a church near us -- Union Grove Baptist Church, this Sunday morning and it was nice, comfortable and the sermon was good and clear.... 'King's English' ... LOL. The good pastor said at the door to me, "You're back !" It is only my personal opinion, but many times the smaller churches seem more friendly and happy to see you. I am glad that my wife could slowly climb the many steps to the church-- but NEXT TIME we will have her use her own power chair with the special 'disabled' ramp and side door.

On a somber note, Sharon's champion fancy show cat that she bred and raised 13 years ago is dying and it's only a matter of time, days or hours before "Cuddles" the cat expires. I know what it is to lose a pet too. Our dog, "Deuce" the Rotty 'knows what is going on in the house also-- and the two animals are buddies/ friends. Sharon knows a lot about animals and medicine, and she says the cat either had a stroke or heart attack. I will put the poor creature down and bury it if Sharon so wishes. Both of our animals are certified "Service Animals" -- trained, and able to save human life, guard and protect their masters. They can 'sense' if we are not breathing right while we are sleeping and will instantly wake us up. We both use oxygen and CPAP machines to help us breath better when we sleep at night, etc.

I am happy with my repair on the Ram 4 by 4, and also doing some Autumn painting before cold weather comes to Wisconsin. I enjoy painting as it has a calming, therapeutic effect on me, and so does my home carpentry and woodworking/ carving. We are picking our organic garden produce every day-- and loving it. I just love tomatoes salad with Wishbone Italian dressing on it ! Sharon has canned a dozen jars of tomatoes too. We gave a few to my Mom the other day so we all felt good.

A New Survey Reveals that Less than 10 Percent of All Born Again Christians Look at the World with a Biblical Perspective

George Barna, a pollster with an independent marketing research company, found in a recent survey that only 4% of the overall population of America and 9% of born-again Christians have a biblical world view, suggesting that many of the nation's moral and spiritual challenges are directly attributable to this fact.

For the purposes of the research, a biblical world view was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists, that such truth is defined by the Bible, and that the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A biblical world view based upon understanding Bible prophecy is essential for an understanding of the times we live in today.

Let's look at the provision in scripture for a biblical world view. All scripture is God breathed. That means it's inspired and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, and instruction in righteousness, that's II Timothy 3:16. God gave the scriptures to the Jew to preserve and communicate to mankind, Romans 3:1-2. And thus, we have His written Word for us today. Our blessings and understanding comes from God's provision of His heart, His mind, His thoughts in written form, the Bible.

Now, let's look at the priority for studying a biblical world view. The Apostle Paul wrote that we must study the Word of God, a workman that need not be ashamed, relying on God's Word for all of life's questions. We must rightly divide the Word of truth, the Bible, to ascertain its true meaning. These two principles, study and rightly dividing the Word of God, are instruction for the End Times and they come from Paul's exhortation to young Timothy found in II Timothy 2:15.

Finally, let's look at the prophetic scenario of a biblical world view. A study of Bible prophecy reveals the scenario for the Last Days with a seven year period of judgment in our world followed by the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to establish His Kingdom here on earth. However, preceding that seven years of judgment, those who are true born again Christians will be taken out of this world to be with Jesus Christ, that's the Rapture.

Allowing the Bible to form our world view prepares us for these future events and gives us evidence as to how close they may be.

WSJ: Obama and Shinseki now pressuring Veterans toward Euthanasia

The Wall Street Journal just published a shocking editorial written by a respected University President, confirming the Obama Administration is now using VA hospitals to order doctors to pressure all military veterans to sign "pull the plug" do-not-resuscitate orders, hastening their premature deaths through mandatory "end of life" counseling.

President Jim Towey of Saint Vincent's College, founder of the non-profit "Aging With Dignity" and former White House Director of faith based initiatives, wrote a blistering expose entitled "The Death Book For Veterans," revealing President Obama's new Veterans Administration (VA) directive, presumably signed by VA Secretary, General (ret.) Eric Shinseki, which mandates all veterans' primary care physicians must graphically discuss "end of life planning" with all VA patients (not merely those nearing death), and must refer them to "Your Life, Your Choices," a book that openly encourages Euthanasia and was written with guidance from the group formerly known as the Hemlock Society. That same pro-suicide group now boasts on their web-site of directly leading the charge to ensure "end of life counseling" is mandated in the Obamacare bill, HR 3200.

On page 21 of the Shinseki-mandated Veteran's Euthanasia book, all military veterans are encouraged to complete a checklist of various scenarios, to decide whether their own life would be "not worth living." For example, the booklet asks veterans 7 questions pressuring veterans to sign a "living will" that authorizes doctors to terminate your life, if you are:

1. Living in a nursing home?
   
   
2. Being in a wheelchair?
   
   
3. Not able to "shake the blues?"
   
   
4. Ever heard anyone say, "If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug?"
   
   
5. No longer able to contribute to your family's well-being?
   
   
6. Are you a severe financial burden to your family?
   
   
7. Do you cause severe emotional burden for your family?

"This hurry-up-and-die message is clear and unconscionable," says Towey, "Worse, a July 2009 VA directive [presumably signed by Shinseki] instructs its primary care physicians to raise advance care planning with all VA patients and to refer them to 'Your Life, Your Choices.' [the Euthanasia booklet.] Not just those of advanced age and debilitated condition-all patients. America's 24 million veterans deserve better." Towey recommends a "five wishes" living-will document that does not pressure suicide.

But instead the Hemlock Society booklet is now MANDATED for doctor referral to all patients in all VA hospitals, heaping more evidence upon the growing list of proofs that the Obama Administration is LYING TO THE PUBLIC by denying their health care plan pushes Euthanasia on the elderly. They already do it today. Just imagine if ALL hospitals become government-run like the VA.

We had another full day with very nice weather as our good friends came over for lunch/ cook out, and I grilled some carrots and fresh, organic, home grown zucchini, with our own fresh tomatoes on the side, etc, in the back yard while catching some sun rays. I like to cram as much sun shine/ vitamin "D" in to my body to carry over into Winter. Steve and Barb B. came over and we had a great visit. I have known that old Navy man for many years, who is also a plumber, and he's/ disabled/ retired as a highway patrol inspector a few years ago and enjoys the same hobbies as I do [classified]. We are both biblical Christians and I told him today.... that only recently [the last 4 years] that I felt reassured/ comfortable by knowing the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word, that I was going to heaven when I die-- and that is the most wonderful feeling! From past mis-information and false religion brain washing, I thought that I had done too many bad things in my life to be Saved, but the Bible says that is NOT true. Romans 3: 23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We will not be perfect until we get to Heaven! But even though we are now Saved by accepting the Lord Jesus as our personal Savior -- that doesn't give us license to go out and run wild to sow our 'wild oats' and bring shame on the Lord's name. It took a few smart pastors and special friends to point this out to me, and after my wife's serious open heart surgery this past March, much more info all came together to show me the REAL priorities in my life. PTL.

Well, it's so good to be able to trust another Christian with deep, inner feelings and get their view point and trusted wisdom. I actually had a fear of dying [and not making it to heaven...] 10 years ago because I didn't fully understand certain things about God's mercy and kindness. And like I may have mentioned before, sometimes the Lord allows us to suffer or be exposed to tragedy to WAKE US UP so we can 'get right with Him and/ or get back on track.' Sometimes you have to sacrifice/ lose a finger or hand to 'save the body [or soul]' as found in the book of Matthew as Jesus said. Steve is a very smart, well studied man with many gifts and talents, but I told him today that I would be willing to "sword fight" with him mentally on Bible knowledge-- but that I just found a new understanding last night... lol, and shared it with him! I couldn't sleep so I went on-line and looked at e-sword and learned a few new things. However, I learned years ago that just 'pure knowledge' will NOT save us-- but doing the correct things as taught by Christ and acting as a real servant of Jesus Christ and accepting His Will is the real ticket!


And yes, we Americans are spoiled, 'fat' and lazy, so accepting the Lord's Will and assignments are that much more hard to do. Rich, affluent people are inclined to take the path of least resistance. When we read about 'Voice of the Martyrs' and Open Doors [orgs] and the countries with persecution of Christians-- we get a more realistic and balanced view of how poor, beat up Christians actually accomplish more that we Americans! Some experts calculate that perhaps 3/4 of the people in America who attend church are NOT REALLY SAVED! You know what? It's a very good feeling to know and understand that things MUST get much worse in the USA and world [Bible prophecy] with more wars, pestilence, dying and injustice.... and no human will be able to stop it-- but Christians will still be joyful and secure in knowing that one way or another, the Father in Heaven will 'protect and save us.' We just have to NOT get caught up in Satan's world of corruption AND STICK CLOSE TO CHRIST. We must stay sober and alert while waiting for the Lord to return.


When honest hearted, above board people make comments or email me, they won't be ashamed to hide like their real name/ email address like a coward. I am not a hero nor ever said I was. Just an old, disabled, retired, arthritic auto worker trying to survive and spread the Word/ Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was a common soldier with an honorable discharge who had the great opportunity to fly as a crew member in Vietnam: 68-70, and it could have been a lot worse. I always thought that the Infantry had it worse/ more dangerous, but the Army put me where they wanted and that was just 3 years of my life. I was serously injured at Chrysler and other auto/ motorcycle accidents so that I qualified for SSDI, etc. I am far from rich. And now I am a soldier of Christ, an imperfect sinner who is grateful for everything I have.

Thank you, Lisa, for commenting on the "jerk" that tries to annoy me periodically. These jack asses with low IQ's just come with the territory and they are sick and depraved, with no real identity or traceable web site, only wanting some attention and notoriety... LOL. The Liberal Dims play the same game of trying to make it look like we Christian conservatives are racists, gun slingers, selfish, hateful people. Heck, we just want to work, save/ invest a few dollars, and take care of our families in peace and security-- but obama and the Dims want to take OUR hard earned money and give it to the illegal aliens and folks who refuse to work!! A Little History.

My wife, I, and ALL of my friends are firm believers and supporters of the U.S. Constitution, especially the 1st and 2nd Amendments. I took an Oath in the Army to defend the U.S. Constitution. It is my studied opinion and belief that guns will never save us from God's rightful wrath for unrepentant sinners who will not accept Christ, of course, or when/ if the Gov't decides to put Christians in prison... and I believe that is a distinct possibility in the near future.... and this is not meant to be a 'scare tactic', just an educated guess, and study of God's own Word, the Bible. God will take care of us one way or another-- and He even makes death a way out, but not suicide, IMHO. That last part may be a 'gray area' and I would like more biblical input from my readers if possible, please.

But I know that we do have the Right to defend ourselves and our families. In fact, cowards are not looked upon as good people in the Bible [see Rev. 21:8]. I believe that there is a BALANCE some where in between. Having been a hunter, only for food, most of my life on the farm and latter, and then a Soldier in combat- Vietnam: 68-70, I know that fire arm safety is very important-- and life is sacred. In Genesis chapter 9, right after the Flood in Noah's time, God first granted humans the right to eat meat. Ducks, Geese and rabbits just don't undress and jump into the cooking pot or frying pan, so man hunted, raised animals and farmed. I laugh at 'city slickers' who don't know that simple, basic fact of life. In Vietnam, Thailand, Africa, etc, the people eat rats and the rats eat the grains that the farmers plant.
I wish so-called 'educated' people in the USA would wake up and grow up-- and read their history books to learn what happens when Governments mess up and pass stupid laws that take away the People's Rights and Freedoms.

FOR THE RECORD: Per the Bible's teaching, I DO NOT HATE any human being-- but I hate the sins and dislike pure stupidity and people who take 'pride' in their total ignorance on purpose. America used to be a GREAT nation that has been hijacked by wolves in sheeps' clothing-- those who really want to destroy our nation-- 'home of the brave-- land of the free. I continue to fight against such evil people and traitors to this country-- but my strong biblical beliefs tell me that ONLY GOD CAN SAVE HUMANITY, but He promises to Judge all men and women soon.

Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it. You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson. With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we're 'subjects'.. During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED! If you value your freedom, please spread this anti-gun control message to all of your friends. The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense.The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain.
