Well Friends,
     For the most part,  I am done preaching about the economy or what you should invest in, anymore.  You guys are on your own now.   But let me relate to my past Financial training with PFS, etc....  'If you DON'T "PAY YOURSELF FIRST...  you will end up spending that money allocated for investment in something probably foolish.'   Most Americans just don't save any money, and my old company showed people 'HOW TO SAVE AND INVEST !'   We would coach the husband and wife at the kitchen table how to 'free up money' they didn't know they had, and invest it in great Mutual Funds that were doing well, at that time.   But you must understand that there is always "that window of opportunity" [just like when a deer hunter spies a deer walking thru his 'kill zone.' "  At a certain point, the deer is out of range... and the same thing in war and battle.].   If people can train themselves to THINK ahead of the curve, and do things at the RIGHT TIME, then they can do the most good.   And so many people love to say,  that "knowledge is power."  But they are wrong!  "Action is Power," and that is where so many folks get it wrong !!  All the smarts, education, and knowledge in the world is worthless unless a man or woman puts it to use and acts upon that knowledge !   There are speakers of the word -- and then there are 'doers of the word.'  And the same thing goes for true Christianity !   Knowing right from wrong is NOT ENOUGH!   And... those who do not take the proper action at the right time will be lumped in with all the UNBELIEVERS AND EVIL DOERS.... going down to the 'pit.'   I am sure that you can all figure that one out.   And Jesus pointed out that those who take 'care of His little ones -- His servants and followers' will beget mercy and grace from the Father.   See:  Book of Matthew.  
     It's not that we keep a private journal of how many times we help our Christian brothers and sisters,  because we know that is part of our declaration of Faith and Love.   But on the flip side of the coin,  I have given MUCH to certain churches and helped individuals privately with my own money, etc., and when I left,  lol,  I never got hardly a boo !  Nor a phone call to see if I was OK, or still alive.   Ha!  Ask me if I will ever help those hypocrites out any more..... Ha!  Sorry, I have plenty of bills to pay every single month, and I am just short right now....[and always will be].   Now, dear Friends,  that is not 'bitterness',  it's being practical and 'taking care of business.'   And just like there is a limit to God's kindness and mercy --- there is a limit to mine, too.  


But it all boils down again to PRIORITIES in life, and every day living.   I don't smoke, get drunk, party hearty or go on expensive vacations, nor live in a high class home, or eat out every day,  so I might just have a little bit to invest in things that I believe I will need in the near future.  I am thinking about buying a medium size  chest freezer in the near future, so I can buy some good meat on sale and store them up for when I might not be able to have access to them later, when commodities shot up $$$.    Actually, I learned stuff like that from my parents on the farm in the 1960's.  


And I just received a special 'sharpening module'  for my sharpening machine that cost me, $120. !!  But the worst thing you can do is carry a DULL knife.    I considered that an investment, too.

Silver Spikes to 22 Month High, Driven By “Heightened Volatility, Lingering Uncertainty”

There’s nothing like a crisis to drive market prices. This time around, with the very future of currencies and nations directly intertwined, gold and silver are poised to be the very bastion of neutrality and relative safety. A Switzerland amid a global currency war.

It was no surprise to see gold increasing as a result of the climate surrounding Britain’s referendum, but now the commodities market is taking off in a very bullish way.

And now it seems that silver is catching up. The spot price has been steadily gaining in the wake of the global economic uncertainty, and it suddenly hit a 22 month high at just above $19 per ounce.
The chances appear strong that the rally will continue, at least in the short term.
Reuters reported via Zero Hedge that:

Silver breached the $19 an ounce level to reach the highest since September 2014.
Silver, which has gained more than 8 percent this week, is on track for its best week since August 2013. “Gold has been on an uptrend and silver tends to catch up,” said Brian Lan, managing director at Singapore-based gold dealer GoldSilver Central.

Gold rose on Friday and was headed for its fifth straight weekly gain, boosted by a weaker dollar as the safe-haven asset continued to be in demand despite an increase in risk appetite post the Brexit vote.
“Looking ahead, it seems that gold will remain one of the major beneficiaries in the current backdrop, as heightened volatility and lingering uncertainty will keep investors’ risk appetite in check,” the bank [Societe Generale] said in a note.

Apparently, the value of gold and silver have returned into plain view as a safe haven from the currency swings going on with the pound, and as a result of the Brexit vote. The potential for a rate hike at the Federal Reserve, and the prospect of negative interest rates have also been turning interest to gold and other assets.
Just imagine if these assets ever approached their true value…
With the longer term prospect of an truly serious economic collapse in the United States, gold and silver will continue to make sense as a hedge against banana republic inflation, as well as a means to barter and trade with.
Though that kind of crisis seems alien to our happy consumer society, the reality is all too present in Venezuela.
Could it happen here? Hopefully you’ll have a humble stash of bullion in case we ever find out for ourselves.

Dear Friends,
   Those of you who already KNOW me, understand 'where I am coming from,' which is a cryptic way of saying that I hope you fine people, Patriots, Americans and all others in the world who love Freedom and Father God in Heaven, ought to write some things down and get some of the web sites that I highly recommend,  BEFORE the Gov't takes them all down, please.   I repeat, that I am NOT a paranoid, old, man running around like, the fairy tale character,  "Chicken Little --- and the sky is falling !"   Most combat Veterans can identify with my blog posts, that we are 'not in Kansas' anymore and our very important FREEDOMS THAT WE TAKE FOR GRANTED ARE NOW AT STAKE !!   Once those freedoms are gone,  they are going to STAY GONE !!   And I am reading and getting most of my "juice" and Info/ Intel, from the KJV Bible --God's Word, written on a 5th grade reading level, dear friends.  
       Let me explain some important terms that I think we all need to learn.   'EDC' means:  Ever Day Carry.  When you walk out the door and get into your auto/ car/ truck, Dodge Ram 4 by 4,  please get into the habit of carrying some drinking water, MONEY,  a good knife [like a 'Swiss Army knife']  and maybe a few tools, like a screw driver, Crescent wrench and plyers, just in case something happens.   I carry some wrapped hard candy, etc, also, just in case the 'sermons get tedious,'  lol.   Like Lemon gum drops.   I also put a few Hershey's chocolate bars in the freezer, just in case, someone drops over to visit, and I have something to make them feel welcome and happy, etc.    Actually,  some nice friends found a nice, clean refrigerator and gave it to me about a month ago,  but I am thinking about buying a medium size, chest freezer, to stock up on a few different kinds of meat, etc.    It's not that big of an investment $$$,  but I sure do enjoy and getting good at grilling steaks and veggies on my new Weber grill this Summer !   It makes me feel good inside and happy when I learn new tricks and master a few skills that other friends appreciate when they come over !   
      I also make sure that there is a slight 'redundancy' in my EDC, like 2 sets of keys, so I don't lock myself out of the  house or truck.    I learned that the 'hard way.'  
      Let's just say that I was 'blessed enough' to have a strict, loving father to teach me common sense and his 'Navy ways/ training' to do many things and not forget, and as I frequently mention, the Army taught me tons of special things to help me survive and stay alive in combat, but it all helped me in later life.   I have a young nephew named Joe, who totally understands things like this too.  


Guess what !  The Gov't's  stupid, dangerous plan:  "Fast and Furious" goofy  gun entrapment program that didn't work... that the authorities are now finding some guns were found that that source....  in Phoenix, AZ.,  all the way to the France murders !  Check it all out on one of the posts below.    It would be smart to down load, "Dave Hodges -- The Common Sense Show,"   which is filled with the truth that you will never see on TV !!   It just might change the way you vote in September.   However, if you or your family have been on Gov't Welfare for the past 4 generations,  I already know how you are going to vote....  for the crooked, godless, Dems....  lol.   Just remember, that the day is coming when all the worthless, paper American dollars will dry up and won't be here to pay your bills [for a couple of logical reasons], because the few people in American that still have a job to go to every day, cannot support all the leeches on Welfare who refuse to hold down a job, even though they are young, strong, and fully able to work --- yet they choose to just live off the not so free money from the girl that they made pregnant to start the welfare/ and food stamps money rolling in every month !   Now, the truly DISABLED are a totally different case.    I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, and have trouble walking to far or too long, also with COPD, acute Arthritis, PTSD, too many frightening bone fractures and a bad back, from working myself to death in caring for my family, including putting in over 30 years at AMC/ Chrysler Corp., in Kenosha, WI.   Yes, I did work all my life, only to burn out a bit early, and retired with FULL benefits at age 54, in the year, 2002,  30.5 years,  but I also worked at many other places and was rarely unemployed....a good, skilled Welder, etc.    PTL -  Praise the Lord !   I am thankful for EVERYTHING I HAVE,  especially the saving Grace and kindness of my heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ.  


And, BTW, the UN will soon control food in America, and use it as a weapon.  Are you prepared ? ? ?

ALERT BULLETIN - THE COUNT DOWN HAS BEGUN! Listen up: less than 178 days is all Obama has left to launch his nationwide gun, DNA and ammo grab vaporizing the Second Amendment! Here is the inside scoop. As all eyes are turned to Hillary, Sanders, Trump and the election process… few have been watching what Obama has been up to. Secretive, nefarious activity has just been discovered which places Second Amendment in peril. I'm giving you the 'heads up'. Your Tea Party alert last week revealed Obama's gun and DNA grab scheme, which includes secret meetings with Governor Jerry Brown of California and other key Governors to create a diabolical plan to extinguish the second amendment. You heard me right! Outrageous! The fact is Obama is using a Department of Veterans Affairs fiduciary trustee scheme to locate, target and revoke veteran's lifetime right to own guns. Obama ordered the Department of Veterans Affairs to declare our heroes mentally defective, as if our honored veterans are no longer honored, wounded patriots who served our nation with life and limb. Our heroes are being relegated to nameless pieces of gear, deemed to be defective and not deserving of rights or benefits and life! Here is the proof: Veterans Administration (VA) has been reporting to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) the identities of its beneficiaries who have been assigned a "fiduciary" to manage their benefits. The VA claims that such determinations constitute an "adjudication of mental defectiveness" under federal law, thereby prohibiting the beneficiary (presumptively for life) from acquiring or possessing firearms. To top it off the Tea Party Team discovered this is not an isolated case of veteran victims, but well over 260,000 veterans have had their guns rights REVOKED FOR LIFE….and all in the name of peace and the global good! Over 10,000 veterans are losing their gun rights for life every week! The Tea Party is going to stop this! Why is Obama targeting veterans? Veterans are trained and tested, NOT dumb sheep! Veterans have been trained in gun safety and the proper management of firearms. Veterans tend to be more conservative and patriotic in nature. Veterans have taken an oath to protect the Constitution. Frankly, the demon-possessed madman Obama is hell bent and will stop at nothing because he has less than 178 days left to crush veteran rights, grab guns and ammo, cripple nationwide gun sales, install DNA collections procedures and register all gun owners' friends and families. Now you know why the Tea Party must intervene for the American people once again. To add injury to insult, Obama's gun and DNA grab, including the Veterans Administration fiduciary trustee scheme, are funded with your tax dollars! Revolting! Bottom line is the Tea Party Team is the boots on the ground intervening for the American people! Here's what we've doing: The Tea Party is supporting the Veterans 2nd Amendment Protection Act (H.R. 2001, Rep. Jeff Miller, R-FL) and the Mental Health and Safe Communities Act of 2015 (S. 2002, Sen. John Cornyn, R-TX). Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa has been questioning the VA on this matter, and hopes to put a stop to it. "The very agency created to serve them (veterans) is jeopardizing their Second Amendment rights through an erroneous reading of gun regulations. The VA's careless approach to our veterans' constitutional rights is disgraceful." The Tea Party MUST Intervene for the America People NOW! Hells Bells! The Tea Party Team is taking the fight to the belly of the beast. We must intervene on behalf of the American people. We are telling decision makers on Capitol Hill not to be shoved around by bleeding heart liberals!  We are going eyeball to eyeball with Washington big shots and warn them: Don't you dare kowtow to Obama's madness! The Tea Party will protect 2nd Amendment rights, Veterans and our family to the last man!   In a nutshell, the day of being fat and lazy, soaking in a hot tub and lollygagging is over! We must continue to intervene with decision-makers on behalf of the American people and throw caution to the wind!  And we must intervene right now. You had better ready up!  The ongoing plan is to strategically place only a few of our key Tea Party leaders directly in the path of decision makers so we can give them some old fashion horse sense about the Gun and DNA grab and Veteran crushing.  Believe me they are going to get their ear bent and no doubt break out in a cold sweat when they realize they had better not swerve left and stay the course laid out in the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. Here it is straight up! I'm not going to mince my words: We must have your help now and a lot of it, or we will be unable to stop Obama's gun and DNA grab and protect our veterans. Believe me; Obama has turned Washington DC from a beautiful capitol city into a Death Star! Darth Obama is poisoning our rights, revoking veteran's rights and trying to grab our DNA! In a few days Obama will try to wield his poison executive order pen and extinguish our 2nd Amendment freedom with a single signature. But we will be ready! Listen up. We must raise $19,720 this week so we can pay our lodging bills, long distant phone calls, taxi cab fees and maybe make bail if Obama locks us up! Not if; but how much can you help? I know you will stand with the Tea Party and underwrite this intervention on behalf of the American people.  It's now or never - the very fabric of the 2ndAmendment hangs in the balance. I am happy to have picked up my snail mail at the P.O. this morning, and also went out to eat some great Mexican food where I always go these days.   Went shopping for a few items to keep me happy and well fed for the next few days,  but now some angry clouds made the sky dark with the threat of rain and I can hear the thunder.   We get a lot of rain U.P. here, so the weeds get a big drink all the time.    A friend came over yesterday and pulled weeds for me, so I fired up the Weber grill and cooked a few New York Strip steaks and carrots for us.   I love to show my appreciation with a few dollars, gifts and hugs.   I don't have a girl friend, so it still gets lonely U.P. here for me.   But I have CHANGED my mind about the area, and have come to recognize the GOOD qualities so far North of the big, corrupt, violent, fast paced cities down South, like Chicago and Milwaukee, etc.  That for the most part most of the people up here are friendly, kind, happy, Patriotic, Americans ! !   They are a bit laid back and easy going, and somewhat satisfied with their lower wages, so it seems, IMHO.   And I figure that when the SHTF, we won't see big, nasty, violent riots, pillaging, and robbery.   That is GOOD !    Plus, every other household has "Deer Hunters" in it and they mostly seem like real Patriots, in my opinion.... and Green Bay Packers' fans.   So,  I think I fit in for the most part, and the local VA Hospital usually treats me OK, and wants to help me.   But from past circumstances at other VAMC's I have learned how to 'cover my anatomy' [CYA],  and would never let them do any serious surgery on me... Ha!   Our wonderful Gov't and present Administration treat the Illegal Aliens much better than the Disabled Veterans !!    I do tons of research on all of my Medication to double check and make sure it won't kill me, PLUS I have studied healing Herbs for 4 decades,   and also help other Vets learn those skills.  


But today, I want to focus on how much the present Administration and the past Sec of State gets away with --- when the common man would have been hung by the neck until dead, or at least thrown in prison for a long time with all the lies, actions, and lawless acts !!  And this should have all been brought to Justice if both sides of the Congress were not totally, corruptly,  COMPLICIT ! !   By some hook of crook, 'Hilly Clinton' [sic] and her hubby have a 'Teflon' coating and are 'above the law !'   Our Soldiers and Marines who fought in Vietnam had to take Oaths and remain secret after all these years, we still won't talk about certain things that happened over there!     Now HOW can we make the Congress and Senate do their jobs ?  Besides vote there asses out, and then it may be too late after Clinton rigs and cheats her way into the WH... and than the real SHTF scenario blossoms forth.   I don't know if Trump can turn things around,  but I trust him a lot more, because he still obeys and follows the Constitution and Law of the Land, respect LIFE and loves our country.   I honestly fear for his safety and the Dims will do ANYTHING to see that he doesn't win this election !!  "Anything !"   I would encourage Donald Trump to 'beef up' his Security 10 fold, if not more !  I would also ask all the people to pray for him and his safety.

This was my $22K Goldwing motorcycle that weighed 800 pounds, with 1800 cc's or raw power and 6 cylinders, that I regret selling...  but my knees were so painful back then....

Fox News senior legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano speculated there could be a serious storm brewing in Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s future, and the timing couldn’t be worse.
He referred to a possibly incriminating email Clinton failed to release to the State Department that was of “critical importance.”
The judge appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings With Maria,” where he explained that the email in question was from Clinton aide Huma Abedin to the then-secretary of state and her inner circle. It said that they had been hacked and that technology staffers were temporarily disabling State Department security features to accommodate Clinton’s private server.
Napolitano said the disclosure was a contradiction of Clinton’s persistent claims that she never jeopardized national security secrets, not to mention the fact that she claimed her emails were never hacked.
He also said that Clinton’s credibility regarding the fact that she had released all of her work-related emails was at stake, adding that U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan asked that Clinton swear “under penalty of perjury” that she had handed over all her governmental emails to the State Department.
“That is a code phrase for ‘I think you’re lying to me,'” Napolitano said.
Clinton claimed she deleted the email before the formal request to turn over any emails was made. Yeah, right. There probably aren’t too many people willing to believe that anymore.
Clinton’s failure to surrender this email could add perjury to an already “overwhelming” case, Napolitano said, which could lead to an indictment for espionage, conspiracy and obstruction of justice.
Napolitano added that if the Justice Department chooses not to indict Clinton, many FBI investigators and Justice Department prosecutors could resign and leak details of the investigation — just ahead of the Democrat National Convention.
“If FBI agents resign and leak on the eve of the election or the eve of the DNC, does President (Barack) Obama have a Watergate-like Saturday Night Massacre on his hands?” Napolitano said, referring to 1973, when Richard Nixon fired a special prosecutor and his attorney general resigned during the Watergate scandal.
Any rebellion from the FBI or Justice Department officials could crush Clinton’s presidential hopes.

This email is only more evidence of what we’ve already known about Clinton for quite some time — that she cannot be trusted.

   Ask any person, not your child between the ages of 18 and 25, if they ever heard of the Nuremburg Trials.  1 in 13 might say they have, but will not be able to tell you "what" was on trial (not who).  Those same people will not be able to tell you the name of the Vice President. 84% of those who receive this will not read it completely, or at all. 10% will but will also chose not to forward it.  The remaining 6% will forward it.

 

   The war started in the 7th century and lasted through the 17th century.   I would contend it never stopped but historically the facts below are correct.

 

   This is why I choke when I hear someone say we will defeat or contain these Islamic terrorists in a few years or even 30 years as recently stated by Leon Panetta.

 

    If the latest batch of murders, be-headings, and killing of innocent Christians has shocked you, maybe you should read this compilation of historical facts about the hatred of Muslims.

 

WE, THE STUPID

 

    This is factually (and historically) correct - and verifiable:

 

    In 732 A.D. the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.

 

    In 1571 A.D. the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.

 

    In 1683 A.D. the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.

 

    This has been going on for 1,400 years and half of the politicians don't even know it.

 

    If these battles had not been won, we might be speaking Arabic and Christianity could be non-existent; Judaism certainly would not exist.

 

    Reflecting:  A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves.  Pause a moment and reflect back.

 

    These events are actual events from history.  They really happened!

    47 years since 1968 and this just keeps going on and on.

 

    1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.

 

    2. In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, Israeli athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.

 

    3. In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach.   Shortly after landing it was blown up by Muslim males.

 

    4. In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome, with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.

 

    5. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.

 

    6. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.

 

   7. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.

 

    8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70-year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.

 

    9. In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.

 

    10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim males.

 

    11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.

 

    12. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.

 

    13. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.

 

    14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.

 

    15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by - you guessed it - a Muslim male. (Plus two other American journalists who were just recently beheaded).

 

    16. In 2013, the Boston Marathon Bombing resulted in 4 Innocent people, (including a child) being killed and 264 people injured by Muslim males.

 

    No, Obama, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people.

 

    So, ask yourself "Just how stupid are we???"

 

    Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the Obama's security detail, 85-year-old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, BUT........leave Muslim Males alone lest we be guilty of profiling.

 

    Ask yourself, "Just how stupid are we?" Have the American people completely lost their minds or just their Power of Reason???

 

    Let 's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Alred's and other stupid attorneys, along with Federal Justices, that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense.
