Dear Thomas, The Department of Veterans Affairs has been plagued by scandals for years, and almost no one is being held accountable.   The VA Accountability First Act of 2017 - introduced by House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN) earlier this week - seeks to change that.   Under the current system, VA employees have stolen and sold medication meant for veterans, manipulated wait times, and left veterans to die - and it's nearly impossible for them to be fired. Worse still, whistleblowers who speak up against wrongdoings are frequently punished.   The new VA Accountability First Act would make it easier for bad employees to be fired while giving whistleblowers the protection they deserve. Hello  Friends,
    Did I ever mention that I was/ and am a 'Wood Carver,' and do a pretty good job at that hobby, using a "router ?"   I prefer Sears Craftsman tools because they feel 'right' in my hands, and always had a great guarantee if they broke, under normal use.   And it took many years to perfect my art/ craft.   Few people even know what a "Router" is !   It's a glorified 'drill' that is chiefly used to 'edging' wood, making grooves and other fancy designs in wood,  but I mainly used it to carve words and scriptures into wood, and simple objects, like trees, the sun, etc.  I even did a special, carefully done project and went door to door, drumming up work, with ideas such as:   Plaques with:   'The Jones Family --- John and Jane, etc.' and charge about $20.  to augment my meager income, when I was laid off from Chrysler for 6 long, miserable years.


I forgot why I even mentioned this fact --- part of my life/ and skill,  but thought it somehow tied into my message for today on this blog post....


I had 2 appointments yesterday at the local VAMC, and the 2 kind Nurses I saw always treat me well,  but some other business I had there --- only got me jerked around, and part of that was Medicine business related.  Fact is:   So many times the 'Right hand doesn't know what the Left is doing !!'   And my fellow Veterans have had to put up with this manure all their lives, with no recourse !!   And of course some mean-spirited, almighty VA officials have special ways to really make your life miserable, if they so want.   So....  we Veterans can NEVER, ever, SAY OR DO ANYTING that smacks of impoliteness,  sarcasm, NO FOUL LANGUAGE, swearing, cussing, that could be labeled as, "Disorderly Conduct,"  of the VA cops would be called and we would go to jail, and that would also go into our records, and then pigeon holed to get, "The Good Old Boys" treatment !    I kid you NOT !   Yes,  those people can and will, mark some kind of translation, Word, or symbol on our 201 Files, and we will then get, "The Treatment," for a very long time.   So.... most common, average, Vet's perhaps don't have the verbal skills to 'word their way around' the devilish VA system, and just go home, never to return!   Or do something much worse.   And as I have said before, the Obama Administration's VA system was purposely designed this way, and EVEN GAVE THE VA EMPLOYEE'S A BONUS $$$$ IF THE KNOCKED A VETERAN out of the picture, and some how DENIED him or her, their rightful benefits ! ! !   Hello !   And we wonder WHY some Vets have a very bitter opinion of their  VA ??   Ha!   I just cannot tell my own personal story enough times of being abused, big time !   But this will have to do for today.
       The sun is out today, but it's still chilly, as 'March went in like a Lion.'   But I am looking forward to a fine, special day that the Lord has made !


I am a 'dog guy,'  but I just may get a cat, 'to do a certain job.'   And she might be a companion for me, too.   I was taught to never abuse any animals by my farmer Dad.   It's funny...  but people [even the heathen] sometimes mirror the Bible, even though they are ignorant of it.   I was discussing that fact with a friend yesterday, too.   That God has instilled a 'commonality in all humans, that certain things in life are just plain WRONG,  such as murder, adultery, stealing, lying, etc.'   There is a special scripture offered by the Apostle Paul,  but I would have to research it again, to post it here, today.  
      I have also worked out a special 'method' or system where I go about finding the right scripture to prove my point, and I use the term/ phrase:  "Winging It."   If you can just remember PART of the scripture and type it into the "dialogue box" on the top most portion of your monitor screen, and stroke, "Enter,"  you can find things easier that way.    Or first type:  "Where is the Bible verse/  or Idea/ Thought.................... ?    That can help you.   I hope this also works for you all, dear friends.  
          And I also love many special SONGS and MUSIC !   U-Tube, has some great songs and Videos, which I really enjoy, and they put me in  a great, reflective mood !   PTL.
        People from the UK, England, Scotland and Wales, are starting to read my humble blog more now, too, and that warms my heart.    Norway, France, Poland also like me.   Germany used to like me a lot,  but I hope I didn't say something to offend them,  such as my personal "Opinion of Chancellor Merkel,"  who is an avowed Socialist, who is now trying hard to 'walk back' her mistakes of allowing the crude Islamic, murdering, rapping, Muslims, into their once beautiful land.   There is an "Oldie" Song from the early 1960's by the 'Ides of March'  called:   "You wouldn't listen to Me."   Get the idea ?     Ha! Not too many people have had the classical education that I did,  from Old Milwaukee, which is also the name of a cheap beer... lol.

"I spent five years working in Mexico . I worked under a tourist Visa for three months and could legally renew it for three more months. After that you were working illegally. I was technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval.

 

"During that six months our Mexican and U.S. attorneys were working to secure a permanent work visa called a 'FM3'. It was in addition to my U.S. passport that I had to show each time I entered and left the country. Barbara's was the same, except hers did not permit her to work.

 

"To apply for the FM3, I needed to submit the following notarized originals (not copies):

1. Birth certificate for Barbara and me.

2. Marriage certificate.

3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation.

4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of graduation.

5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors I had worked for at least one year.

6. A letter from the St. Louis Chief of Police indicating that I had no arrest record in the U.S. and no outstanding  warrants and, was "a citizen in good standing".

7.Finally, I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why there was no Mexican citizen with my skills and why my skills were important to Mexico .

We called it our 'I am the greatest person on Earth' letter. It was fun to write.

 

"All of the above were in English that had to be translated into Spanish and be certified as legal translations, and our signatures notarized. It produced a folder about 1.5 inches thick with English on the left side & Spanish on the right."

 

"Once they were completed, Barbara and I spent about five hours, accompanied by a Mexican attorney, touring  Mexican government office locations and being photographed and fingerprinted at least three times at each location, and we remember at least four locations where we were  instructed on Mexican tax, labor, housing, and criminal law and that we were required to obey their laws or face the  consequences.

 

We could not protest any of the government's actions or we would be committing a felony. We paid out four thousand dollars in fees and bribes to complete the process. When this was done we could legally bring in our household goods that were held by U.S. Customs in Laredo,Texas .

This meant we had rented  furniture in Mexico while awaiting our goods. There were extensive fees involved here that the company paid."

 

"We could not buy a home and were required to rent at very high rates and under contract and compliance with Mexican law."

 

"We were required to get a Mexican driver's license. This was an amazing process. The company arranged for the licensing agency to come to our headquarters location with their photography and fingerprint equipment and the laminating machine. We showed our U.S. license, were photographed and fingerprinted again and issued the license instantly after paying out a six dollar fee. 

We did not take a written or driving test and never received instructions on the rules of the road. Our only instruction was to never give a policeman your license, if stopped and asked. We were instructed to hold it against the inside window away from his grasp. If he got his hands on it you, would have to pay ransom to get it back."

 

"We then had to pay and file Mexican income tax annually using the number of our FM3 as our ID number. The  company's Mexican accountants did this for us and we just signed what they prepared. It was about twenty legal size pages annually." 

 

 "The FM3 was good for three years and renewable for two more after paying more fees."   

 "Leaving the country meant turning in the FM3 and certifying we were leaving no debts behind and no  outstanding legal affairs (warrants, tickets or liens)  before our household goods were released to customs."  

 

"It was a real adventure and if any of our Senators or Congressmen went through it once, they would have a different  attitude toward Mexico ."

 

"The Mexican government uses its vast military and police forces to keep its citizens intimidated and  compliant. They never protest at their capitol or government offices, but do protest daily in front of the United States Embassy. The U.S. Embassy looks like a strongly reinforced fortress and during most protests the Mexican military surrounds the block with their men standing shoulder to shoulder in full riot gear to protect the Embassy. These protests are never shown on U.S. or Mexican TV. There is a large public park across the street  where they do their protesting. Anything can cause a protest such as proposed law changes in California or Texas ."

 

Please feel free to share this with everyone who thinks we are being hard on the illegals. Right!! Most Americans of the liberal left persuasion would never understand this.. Most are blind to this reality.

Es scheint wie die Deutsche Bundeskanzlerin Merkel wird nicht zu viel mehr, und es ist nur meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach, dass Sie in Ihrem viel mit der Globalistischen Eliten warf, und verloren, mindestens für jetzt. Dear  Friends,
     One of the main features of my humble blog is to help out, educated, Inform, and validate my Veteran Brethren/ Fellows, any and every way I can, to make their lives a little bit better/ easier.   And so I try to 'cut and paste' different insightful pieces of News and Info, there,  and I think that we shall see some major improvements  with the new Trump Administration.   Well,  it can't get any worse than the contemptuous 'dirt' we've been served up by the Obama -gang of lazy, disrespectful, retards...  really !   I would know.    And not to be too dramatic,  but many of us Veterans believe that Obama's VA system honestly wanted and tried to "Shut Us Up, permanently,"  and just look at how many Vet's died from lack of service/ medical care, and suicides from total despair !!   Shame !   Democrats should get that kind of treatment !   Ha!  And yes,  this IS that type of highly emotional subject matter !
     And yet, at the same time,  Obama's Islamic, Illegal Alien buddies by the boat load were and are getting, first rate medical services, much better than many combat Veterans, plus, free housing, money,  food, education, and special handling ----  AND, they literally get away with MURDER and RAPE, half the time !!!   Hello !  
     Well,  we thought that would just continue to drag on until the Lord came back in the Rapture....   but President Trump is here now.    Smile.   We understand that Pres. Trump is much lower than our Lord,  but he seems to be 'picking up the slack' fairly well, just within his first 2 months !   PTL !  


I had two VAMC appointments this morning, even in the treacherous snowy blizzard up in Iron Mountain, MI.,  and you just cannot decided to stay home, unless you want to get into trouble and get scolded by to 'powerful [ in their own mind ] goofs'  and so grateful that I had  4WD, in my Dodge pick up truck, so it was, of course,  "hurry up and wait."   That used to be an old, 'sick Army joke,'  lol.  You see, in the Army, they would always run your ass off to get to the destination "On Time,"  --- but then we had to wait, anyway.  Thus,  "Hurry Up and Wait."   But for all Military people, the prospect of being late is too fearful,  so we always, ALWAYS, get there at the VAMC early... and never take that chance of being late.   You see, when I got back home from Vietnam in 1970, and went to the VA [Medical Center--- in Milwaukee, Wisconsin] for the first time, we observed one Veteran coming in to his appointment ONE MINUTE LATE,  and they told him in a very demeaning, hostile way to go home and reschedule !!     Yes,  The crumby VA staff actually yelled in his face, in front of everyone in that waiting room..... Get It ??   And many Vet's had to take off work, just to go to that VAMC-- stinky place for service,   AND many NEVER came back, which is what the VA actually counted on !!  That that savings can then be used on the Liberal Left's Illegal Aliens !   It's that cute ??


But now days,   things are a LITTLE better... LOL.   But it's a lot like older people in a Nursing Home....  just waiting and hoping to DIE,  because the conditions are so bad.... and I would know a lot about that stuff, too !   I was at one of those horrible places while healing up from internal poisoning.... being septic.    All I can say is:   Those POOR people.   And what those folks call,  "FOOD," wouldn't serve as the slop that we fed our Hogs on the farm in the 1960's !   I kid you NOT !   Even if you are rich,  those places can be very lonely and depressing with no one to talk to.... as most of the residents have already, 'lost their ever loving minds.... are mentally basket cases, with dementia and Alsziemers disease, as my own Mom, has.   I feel so bad for her, and wish I could be closer to her, and if all goes right many I can do just that, this Spring.   Lord help me.    Her birthday was yesterday.   


Well,  dear friends and readers,  I will wager that we only have Winter for another 30 days !   I feel like gambling, today... Ha!  


But let me also throw out a simple question to all the smart folks out there, with an I.Q. higher than 70....   'If you could chronicle all the past baloney--tricks and lies that the Dims [sic] Libs have been laid out to trip up the Trump Administration from November 8th onward ---  couldn't you "SEE" that they are running out of 'tricks'  by now  ? ? ?   Any normal man or woman should be able to see that,  so why not just "GIVE THE MAN  A CHANCE" to do what he said he would do,   please ? !   He doesn't even have his whole cabinet installed and running YET !!
       BTW,  I promised a few people that I would never use the term,  "Duh," again,  so this is the very last time.   So what else can I use to replace that 'negative term,' of disappointment ?   OK,  help me out here, my fine feathered friends !


      Let us all give thanks for all the Lord's little blessings, and slices of happiness in our lives, and a few people already know what I am talking about....    but I am not ready to 'let the cat out of the bag, yet.'   Let's just say that I have more to live for, again.   And I don't mean,  "HBO."   But the bible talks about, ' a friend that is more precious than a fleshly brother.'   And now days, so many "Brothers" can really stab you in the back,  because of jealousy, and sheer meanness, etc., and even many 'so-called Christians' often times do just the same !   Are they really "Christians ?"   We shall let the Lord Jesus, decide.   It's not up to me to judge them,  except that:   Actions speak louder than words, and if it looks like  a duck and walks like a duck... it IS a duck.  
       And,  next time Jehovah's Witnesses knock on your door, invited them in and then ask them, 'why have they removed/ truncated, Acts 8: 37, from their "version" of the bible ?'   Before that, though, first ask them, "If they believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."   They will get very red in the face and won't have an answer....  Ha! !   It's makes for great entertainment, friends.
      
But here is another fav. scripture to check out today, if you have the time, folks:   Psalm 9: 17,   "The wicked shall be turned into hell,  and all the nations that forget God."  And verse 19,   "Arise, O LORD, let not man prevail:  let the heathen be judged in thy sight."     --HInt:   If we are Unbelievers --- we are the same as the heathen....    Did President Trump's great address last night sound as if he were a heathen ??    I don't think so !   I like that man !   Let's all give him a chance to do his stuff !

Trump’s New VA Secretary DROPS THE HAMMER, Announces Removal of INSANE Rule

For Trump, one of the biggest issues he has sought to correct is the Veterans Affairs Department and the lackluster care our veterans receive. Now, he is following through!
VA Secretary David Shulkin has announced a proposal that will be aimed towards the expansion of available treatment for veterans. He wants to get rid of the “40-mile, 30-day rule,” via Stars and Stripes.
For those who don’t know, the “40-mile, 30-day” rule limits where a veteran can receive medical treatment — a veteran has to wait either 30 days or live up to 40 miles away from a VA clinic before they can receive aid from outside the VA system.
This keeps a lot of veterans away from the healthcare they need, and a lot are unable to receive private healthcare, which is often better and more personalized.
This is not by any means a “privatization” of the VA, but it gives veterans the choice of where they want to receive their healthcare. As of now, not a lot of veterans have that choice, and the wait times at the VA are long and usually operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The government should not be dictating where our former service members get their healthcare, and they should not just be limited to receiving treatment from the VA and nowhere else. How would you feel if you were forced to stay with a doctor you didn’t like and who didn’t listen to you?

A website by the name of Disabled Veterans stated that Shulkin will also be focused on increasing employee accountability as well as the increasingly high rate of veteran suicides in the United States.

When limited to the VA, with often times dismal care and an excessive number of appointments that day, the doctors and nurses don’t often pay attention or listen when a veteran needs help. And so, with no one else to turn to, they commit suicide. And the loss of a veteran’s life is inexcusable.
President Trump did strongly consider privatizing the VA, which many veteran groups were against, but he seems to be leaning more towards the public-private VA system that will give our former service members the option.
“We want to be thoughtful about how we propose what the new choice program will look like, and do that in conjunction with Congress, and to make sure we are fulfilling the president’s promise and commitment that he has made to the country’s veterans,” stated Shulkin.
It’s about time a president made our veterans a priority in this country, and hopefully Shulkin will be enacting this plan so that our veterans can get the care they need, want, and deserve to have. No veteran should have to continue to make sacrifices, especially

Here again, another reason to educate yourselves with the God-inspired, KJV Bible, is that it is a PROTECTION for all human beings !   Sure our first parents in the Garden of Eden [just as Jesus traced His linage back to ADAM, the son of God --- at Luke, Chapter 3...] were perfect, until they sinned, and so Abel got his wife from one of his sisters...  but you have to understand that those humans beings were STILL so close to perfection, that their offspring were not harmed by too close relations --- bad recessive genetics.   Later on,  God saw fit to bring in a new set of Laws that forbade the wedding of cousins, etc.   See:  Exodus 20 --- etc.,  10 Commandment, that included 300 equally binding statutes.    You see,  there is a good reason for every command from Father God ! 


Now,   Are we being mean spirited, racist, hateful people when we close our national borders and gates to undesirables who would only pollute our gene pool, and weight down our national treasure and Welfare system $$$$$$$  ??   The answer is NO !    Why in the world would a clean society of advanced human beings and Christians allow someone to urinate in our food, or just crap all over our front lawn ?    Sorry to be so graphic,  but someone needs to kick start the TRUTH in our Liberal America right now. 
       Just like in ancient Israel,  Lepers were segregated to parts our side of the city, and they would have to proclaim the words:   "Unclean !"  -- to all passers by.     Now somethings -- taken at face value may not make sense,  but when we take the time to dig and research things with our Computers, etc., we will find the reason why things are how they are.

The numbers are equally devastating in other important Muslim countries: 67% in Saudi Arabia, 64% in Jordan, and Kuwait, 63% in Sudan, 60% in Iraq, and 54% in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
According to the BBC, this Pakistani, Muslim-inspired inbreeding is thought to explain the probability that a British Pakistani family is more than 13 times as likely to have children with recessive genetic disorders. While Pakistanis are responsible for three percent of the births in the UK, they account for 33% of children with genetic birth defects.
The risks of what are called autosomal recessive disorders such as cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy is 18 times higher, and the risk of death due to malformations is 10 times higher. Other negative consequences of inbreeding include a 100 percent increase in the risk of stillbirths and a 50% increase in the possibility that a child will die during labor.
Lowered intellectual capacity is another devastating consequence of Muslim marriage patterns. According to Sennels, research shows that children of consanguineous marriages lose 10-16 points off their IQ and that social abilities develop much slower in inbred babies. The risk of having an IQ lower than 70, the official demarcation for being classified as "retarded," increases by an astonishing 400 percent among children of cousin marriages. (Similar effects were seen in the Pharaonic dynasties in ancient Egypt and in the British royal family, where inbreeding was the norm for a significant period of time.)
In Denmark, non-Western immigrants are more than 300 percent more likely to fail the intelligence test required for entrance into the Danish army. Sennels says, "The ability to enjoy and produce knowledge and abstract thinking is simply lower in the Islamic world." He points out that the Arab world translates just 330 books every year, about 20% of what Greece alone does.
In the last 1,200 years of Islam, just 100,000 books have been translated into Arabic, about what Spain does in a single year. Seven out of 10 Turks have never even read a book. Sennels points out the difficulties this creates for Muslims seeking to succeed in the West. "A lower IQ, together with a religion that denounces critical thinking, surely makes it harder for many Muslims to have success in our high-tech knowledge societies."
Only nine Muslims have ever won the Nobel Prize, and five of those were for the "Peace Prize." According to Nature magazine, Muslim countries produce just 10 percent of the world average when it comes to scientific research measured by articles per million inhabitants.
In Denmark, Sennels’ native country, Muslim children are grossly over represented among children with special needs. One-third of the budget for Danish schools is consumed by special education, and anywhere from 51% to 70% of retarded children with physical handicaps in Copenhagen have an immigrant background. Learning ability is severely affected as well. Studies indicated that 64% of schoolchildren with Arabic parents are still illiterate after 10 years in the Danish school system. The immigrant dropout rate in Danish high schools is twice that of the native-born.
Mental illness is also a product. The closer the blood relative, the higher the risk of schizophrenic illness. The increased risk of insanity may explain why more than 40% of patients in Denmark’s biggest ward for clinically insane criminals have an immigrant background. The U.S. is not immune. According to Sennels, "One study based on 300,000 Americans shows that the majority of Muslims in the USA have a lower income, are less educated, and have worse jobs than the population as a whole."
Sennels concludes: There is no doubt that the wide spread tradition of first cousin marriages among Muslims has harmed the gene pool among Muslims. Because Muslims’ religious beliefs prohibit marrying non-Muslims and thus prevents them from adding fresh genetic material to their population, the genetic damage done to their gene pool since their prophet allowed first cousin marriages 1,400 years ago are most likely massive. This has produced overwhelming direct and indirect human and societal consequences.
Bottom line: Islam is not simply a benign and morally equivalent alternative to the Judeo-Christian tradition. As Sennels points out, the first and biggest victims of Islam are Muslims.
Simple Judeo-Christian compassion for Muslims and a common-sense desire to protect Western civilization from the ravages of Islam dictate a vigorous opposition to the spread of this dark and dangerous ideology.
These stark realities must be taken into account when we establish public polices dealing with immigration from Muslim countries

Revealed! Obama’s $418 billion arms sale to Kenya halted

Lawmakers are calling for an investigation into a series of highly unusual moves made by President Barack Obama while he had one foot out the door.
His administration signed off on a $418 million arms deal to Kenya on his last day in office.
While that alone isn’t suspicious – American weapons are sold to our allies all the time, under both Democratic and Republican presidencies – the conditions are certainly raising eyebrows.

And at least one lawmaker thinks the Obama Administration might’ve tried to pull the wool over the Kenyans’ eyes.
“My office has received credible allegations of faulty contracting practices, fraud and unfair treatment surrounding this sale,” North Carolina Congressman Ted Budd said in a bombshell interview with The Daily Nation, Kenya’s biggest newspaper.
In fact, he said Kenya is being charged nearly DOUBLE what it should be paying!

The deal includes up to 12 Air Tractor AT-802L propeller-based aircraft as well as two AT-504 trainer aircraft along with weapons, technical support and program management, the Standard Digital reported.
They would replace the aging aircraft Kenya is using in its battle against ISIS-linked al Shabab terrorists. The new aircraft would be able to fly lower, getting closer to their targets, and better armed against the Soviet-era weapons favored by the terrorist fighters.
But Breitbart News is reporting that Budd and other lawmakers are raising questions over the deal and may even open an investigation over some incredible suspicious arrangements.
Turns out the contract was given quietly to a company called L3 Technologies that’s NEVER made the aircraft before. Jane’s even reports that Kenya may not have even known that this company never made the things.

And this firm is charging nearly $200 million more than the going rate charged by an experienced, veteran-run company in Budd’s North Carolina district.
That company, IOMAX USA, never got a shot at the contract because they didn’t even know about it until AFTER it was quietly given to L3.
“It looks like politics,” Budd told Breitbart News. “Why are they sending it to someone that’s produced zero, for twice the price? This is inappropriate.”
The Kenyans appear concerned, and not just because it looks like the country’s family ties to Obama didn’t serve them well.
It’s also because of the cash.
While $418 million might be a drop in the bucket of the U.S. military budget, this is a massive expensive for Kenya.

If it goes through, it might be Kenya’s largest-ever arms purchase, more than double the total spent on arms over the previous five years combined, the East African newspaper reported.

Now,  we must understand,  that our family should come FIRST !   President Trump reminds us that,  'Americans should come FIRST, also.'   We are the most generous nation on earth,  but there WAS a Muslim President here not too long ago, that did many unauthorized, Anti-American, unlawful,  things, like shipping money and arms to hostile nations who HATE US !!   Yes,  it is all coming to light --- and something I never thought would happen, that we are just now unraveling the real TRUTH about so many unlawful,  illegal things that just drain our national treasure ! !  And what a low life, shame!  
       Others say that Mr. Trump was "allowed" to be president on purpose, so he could,  'take the fall' and be the patsy when the SHTF, and the 'house of cards' falls down sometimes this year.   Now....  I hope I am wrong !     Because one more year of Prepping would also get me out of debt and give me a more stable platform and readiness !   But it's not about me at all;   It's about God's time table, and His Will be done.

 Missouri has no illegals; go figure... shouldn't the other states do the same? Missouri's approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to date in Arizona . Does the White House appreciate what Missouri has done? So, why doesn't Missouri receive attention? Answer: There are no illegals in Missouri to demonstrate.
 
The "Show Me" state has again shown us how it should be done. There needs to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done. Please pass this around.
 
In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri . In November, 2008, nearly 90% voted in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL governmental activity in Missouri . No individual has the right to demand government services in a language OTHER than English.
 
In 2008, a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally. Missouri law enforcement officers receive specific training with respect to enforcement of federal immigration laws.
 
In Missouri, illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayer benefits such as food stamps or health care through Missouri Health NET.
 
In 2009, a measure was passed that ensures Missouri 's public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the United States .
 
In Missouri all post-secondary institutions of higher education are required to annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States .
 
  So, while Arizona has made national news for its new law, it is important to remember, Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing this horrific problem. Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT WELCOME in the state and they will NOT receive public benefits at the expense of Missouri taxpayers.
