What Everyone Should Know About PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Did you know that more than two-thirds of the population are likely to experience traumatic events in their lifespan? Traumatic events or disasters can result in a wide range of physical and mental health consequences. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, also known as PTSD, is a severe and potentially weakening condition that can happen to those who have experienced depressing, painful or life-threatening injuries.
It is not unusual for people facing traumatic stress to experience flashbacks, nightmares or even intrusive memories of something bad that has happened or happening. While some people recover from this, those who have PTSD continue to be severely depressed or anxious for a long period, even for years following the event.
Most Evident Causes Of PTSD
Post Traumatic stress disorder can develop after a frightening and distressing event and can continue for a prolonged period. Here are a few events that can cause PTSD:

• Violent personal or sexual assault, such as rape, mugging or robbery.
• Serious and frightening road accidents and injuries.
• Unexpected death or a severe injury experienced by a loved one or a close family member.
• Sexual abuse for a prolonged period, sexual violence.
• Natural disasters or damage caused by natural calamities like floods and earthquakes.
• Terrorist attacks, being held hostage, serious life-threats.

Why Does It Develop And Who Is At Risk?
There is no clear evidence or studies that show why people develop PTSD. Mostly those who lack the support or love of family or dear ones during a tragedy or are left alone depressed and anxious develop PTSD after or during a traumatic event. When it comes down to why it develops, here are a few possible reasons:

1. Survival Instinct

PTSD develops due to the feeling of being “on edge” or constantly experiencing flashbacks from the event that forces you to think about it. The instinctive mechanism responses are intended to help you survive; but, in reality, they stop you from processing or moving on from the traumatic experience.

2. Elevated Adrenaline Levels

Studies show that those with PTSD have very high levels of stress hormones, due to which their body produces an adrenaline rush to trigger a reaction in the body. This response is often related to the “fight or flight” mode. When the senses are shut down, you are numbed with emotions and hyperarousal, as some people with PTSD experience.

3. A Malfunction In The Brain

Why people face PTSD is also related to the brain, or instead to the part responsible for memory and emotions in the brain – the hippocampus. When the hippocampus is smaller in size or malfunctions, it can cause anxiety, fear, and memory flashes due to improper processing of the traumatic experience.
Symptoms Of PTSD
For most people, symptoms begin right away after the trauma happens. But, for some, they start to kick in slowly with time. Here are some signs to look out for to determine if you have Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome.

1. Being Alert All The Time: Post a trauma, you tend to get easily startled or irritated or anxious about staying safe. So much so that you find it difficult to get peaceful sleep or are unable to concentrate on work. This, in turn, results in you being on guard all the time. It can also cause reactions like constipation, rapid breathing, elevated heart rate or muscle tension.
2. Can’t Stop Thinking About The Trauma: Another signal that indicates PTSD is that your mind is always thinking about the incident even if you try to avoid it. You keep having nightmares and flashbacks about it. Every time it comes to mind, you experience an emotional breakdown, and you start depending on alcohol or drugs to cope with the emotional pain.
3. Physical Symptoms: Apart from your mind, even your body starts reacting to the trauma. You begin experiencing chronic pain, headaches, dizziness, nausea, and a burning sensation in the chest. From muscle cramps to feeling stiff, everything is connected to symptoms of PTSD. It even causes a sense of fear and results in panic attacks.
4. Avoiding Anything That Triggers Memory Of The Event: You condition your mind to avoid anything that makes you think about the trauma. You even stop talking about it and keep yourself away from the premises where the event took place. You also disconnect from people related to it as you start feeling emotionally numb.
5. Depression And Suicidal Tendencies: In the worst case scenario, as a victim of trauma, you surround yourself with sadness. The feelings of guilt and hopelessness can lead to thoughts about taking one’s own life.

Trauma That Arises From Natural Disasters
This is particularly insidious as this kind of PTSD can tend to traumatize a large number of people at once. Natural disasters can be sudden and overwhelming. The initial and most typical reaction to a calamity is shock, which is then taken over by numbness and denial. This shock can make its way to an overly emotional state during and after the trauma where the victim faces high levels of anxiety and depression.
Natural disasters can specifically give the victim a feeling of being betrayed, and he/she may lose faith. They are the people who have experienced the worst causes of all that lead to PTSD – the loss of a loved one, loss of property, personal exploitation, and a life-threatening situation. Post the trauma, they are made to live in camps and shelters among other survivors, with whom they can reconnect and talk about the event. In the process, they can help each other reduce the pain and start the healing process.
Ways To Heal Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Even though it might feel like the end of the world for the person who has PTSD, there are ways in which you can help reduce their pain and teach them to start healing. Even though it may have been quite a painful experience, these tips can help a person suffering from PTSD get better.

1. Medical Help: Getting help from a mental health professional can potentially benefit if there is a risk of any significant medical conditions. He/she can lower anxiety and depression with antidepressants and medications that can help one to sleep.
2. Support Groups: If medicine is of no help, then this form of therapy definitely will. Joining support groups can be a major step on their path to recovery. When one shares and listens to others, it can help resolve his/her own feelings and coping with the memories.
3. Self Care: In cases like these, self-care is mandatory to recover and get back to one’s healthier and happier self. Here are a few ways in which one can feel better and get over PTSD:

• Get plenty of rest.
• Reconnect with your dear ones, friends, and family.
• Refrain from turning to drugs or alcohol.
• Keep a journal and write down your thoughts.

Helping others: One more way in which one can reduce the pain caused by trauma is by volunteering. When you help someone else, it takes your mind off your own problems. In the process, you improve your sense of purpose and achievement.
So, here is everything you need to know about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Most of the times it is not in your control, but what you can control is how you let it affect you and whether you are willing to help yourself feel better. If not, seek help and cope with the challenges you are having; otherwise, it will be impossible to get over PTSD.

    There are definitely so many false prophets, FALSE Religions, false teachers, and workers/ servants of Satan the devil in the world, so intent on peeling away the true worshipers of Father God-  Yahweh, and Followers of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.  
       The KJV Bible, and NASB,  have a simple message, albeit, some concepts are 'heavier' that require a 12th grade education.   A skillful servant/ follower of God CAN break things down and adapt his method of teaching -- so that most anyone with an I.Q. of 70 and over can understand.   After all, the Lord God wanted to make the understanding of the Word -- the Bible, understood to even a "plow boy,"  men, women and children, combined !!   For all of us who have spent some honest time studying the Holy Scriptures,  we NEED to convince 'new ones' of this true fact,   PLEASE !   It's like anything else in life,  we start slow with the basics, and then progress with Bible studies, so that no one is left behind.   Our dear Lord and Father- Yahweh, also knows that a gentle repetition is needed to inculcate the truth into hearts and minds,  although I have seen 10 year old children recite and EXPLAIN so many Bible Scriptures.... like a highly studied, Elder in the church !  
     I taught my own 3- beautiful children when they were about the same age,  to recite and memorize all  66 books of the Bible !   And that certainly will help any humans find their way around the Bible, immensely and quickly !   In fact,  I have seen and witnessed many people in FALSE religion blow past older 'church goers' in good, proper, Baptist and Protestant churches,  who have sat in their churches all their lives,  but never learned a lick !   Sure, we are not ALL blessed with super brains and material, subject  retention, nor advanced education....   but given a fair chance in life,  we all can improve IF WE ARE WILLING TO INVEST THE TIME AND EFFORT ! !    But scripture says that,   'Our heart is where our treasure is.'

 I honestly have pity of folks that cannot read, enjoy, and remember what they read.....   because I just HATED MATH  in high school, and college !!   Grrrrrrr !   But I excelled in Verbal Aptitude and Reading Comprehension, History, Geography, and Languages !   PTL. ---  [Praise the Lord]    And that subject is very similar to other aspects in life, like,  Investments, Insurance, Hard Work and Education !    Many people CHOOSE to be poor and destitute,  so that they lack the options in life to SAVE their families during a Hurricane, or storm,  while their greedy, Democrat  'mayor' punk  flies away to Texas or another state, instead of helping his people in New Orleans, during Katrina !    But what really turns my crank is when I read about corrupt, immoral Congressmen and 'Law Makers' having a huge $$$ slush fund [many Millions $$$], in case they need to pay off younger women that they abused sexually, and harassed, to keep them silent !   And the hard working tax payers in America are forced, unknowingly, to pay for it !!   I really think that kind of News should get more attention these days, instead of the frequent witch hunts and 'fake news' --  against the good, hard working President Trump, who is trying hard to 'drain the swamp, in D.C.' !     And if  Father God decided to just wipe out the U.S.A., tomorrow, for all of our high crimes, abortions, godless Socialism,  and total corruption --- I could and would certainly understand and justify it.    He would be within His Rights and Divine Justice.

si un si grand nombre dans votre grand pays lire mon humble Journal/ Blog, vous devez également être bien éduqués et comprendre l'anglais. J'aimerais vraiment connaître votre avis sur une variété de sujets simples, comme : quel est votre solution à la violence des envahisseurs islamiques, et ce que votre employé entend faire à ce sujet. Je me rends compte que c'est la "Voie chrétienne" d'aider les personnes en difficulté -- si nous le pouvons. Mais où tracer la ligne quand les islamistes non qualifiés viennent à nos pays et à tuer, meurtre, viol et voler ? La KJV Bible dit que nous ne sommes pas seulement permis de nous défendre nous-mêmes et nos proches, mais nous avons le devoir de protéger, d'accueil, foyer et famille ! Et il ne peut y avoir qu'un état de droit dans le pays !
Désolé, les amis, mais c'est la valeur de l'étude de l'histoire du monde et le chemin de certains pays et leur façon de penser. Hello Dear Friends and avid Readers,
      When our English or Language teachers in High school and college asked us to prepare/ draft a composition or Term Paper,  we want to do our best to get it right and presentable.   And when we read the local News Paper,  we want to understand and sometimes look up new words and terms.  
       Those of us who are blessed to live in a FREE land of Liberty with all the new gadgets and electronics, Personal Computers, etc., can just type a new, word in the 'Dialogue Box' on the top of the Monitor/ Screen,  can view the meanings of words with just the stroke of a button on the Keyboard !  That is much faster than using a Dictionary !!   But the 'flip side' is that too many of us in America/ USA, are so focused and rapt with our goofy Cell Phones, and other electronic machines/ devices now days that too many "Kids" -- even Adults don't know how to physically COMMUNICATE ! !   What a serious SHAME !    Also, few children under age 30 can write using 'cursive style writing.'    Even I print a lot because I feel that my cursive writing is so terrible and illegible.     I print on my checks and envelopes so that no one will make a mistake and somehow lose the important mail.   Too,   "Spell Check" is nice to have,  but I somehow think that it also wrecks our ability to SPELL on our own.... LOL.   So I guess that the right word would be:  BALANCE.  Just like,  in school and the Armed Forces, they taught us how to calculate the "Old School" method of doing things on paper, even though the world of progress was starting to come out with 'new fangled hand computers' that were so speedy/ fast !   Fact:   If we ever have an EMP moment in our once great country,  we will all be S.O.L.  [ ....  surely out of luck].   In fact,  I really wonder how some of those young Socialist punks can even screw in a light bulb....  duh.      And somehow we older folks who have trouble walking will someday have to depend on them ??    But most real Christians that I know and communicate with firmly believe that our Lord Jesus will "rescue/ rapture" us before too long.   One way or another we are Saved.

There are a few ways to unseat those wicked rulers, Congressman and Senators and send them home to EARN their living...  after they have stolen and 'misappropriated' so much money to pay off all the women that they sexually abused and mistreated, etc.   I prefer the Legal Ways.    Psalm 10: 2,   "The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor:  let them be taken in their devices that they have imagined."   Verse 7.   "His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud:  under his tongue is mischief and vanity."     ---Indeed,  We real. "studied," Christians, first, should keep ourselves clean and follow the Lord Jesus,  but it is not only our Right, but also our duty to legally removed the wicked rulers in our country who 'feather their own nests' on the backs of the Working Men and women ! !   Remember Revelation 21: 8.....  God does not like cowards.   And if we are killed for seeking the truth and Justice --- we will be instantly in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christians Must Oppose Wicked Rulers and Remove Them from Office

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt. They have committed abominable deeds.”

— Psalm 14:1
Abominable is an adjective that describes an action that is repugnantly hateful, detestable, loathsome and causes moral revulsion.
God has established His Law as the standard of right behavior and honorable conduct. Because Almighty God is the sovereign ruler of the universe He has the authority to impose His Law upon His creation, which includes every man and woman upon the earth.
God has established moral absolutes in the Holy Bible. God’s formal declaration of His Law may be found in the Ten Commandments.

 

In the same way that God’s Law of gravity is immutable, so are His moral absolutes. A person can attempt to defy the law of gravity by jumping off the Empire State building, but the result is death. In the same way, individuals may attempt to defy God‘s moral absolutes, but the result is still death. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.”  (Romans 6:23)
A nation who defies God’s Law will also perish.
Those individuals who are striving to keep God‘s Laws, through the power of Jesus Christ, in whom they have placed their confidence as Savior and Lord, are practicing good, holy, righteous, honorable behavior.
“For by grace have you been saved, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that no man may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which He ordained beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)
Those who oppose God’s moral absolutes, His standards and Law, are practicing wicked, evil, and wrongful actions. They are fools.

 

Of course, a wicked man is going to deny the existence of a sovereign God. For if he were to believe in God, then he would have to admit that his actions deserve God‘s righteous punishment, because he is guilty of his sins. Therefore, the fool must deny God’s existence and judgment.
“The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him. All his thoughts are, ‘There is no God.’”
Any individual who practices evil actions, and promotes others to do likewise, is a fool. He is conducting his life in a manner consistent with that of an atheist, an individual who does not believe in God.
Those individuals who are officials and leaders in civil government, churches, synagogues, business, entertainment and in the media and who defend and praise, or simply refuse to oppose, those who practice or promote wickedness, such as, abortion, homosexuality, adultery, pornography, foul language, destruction of Biblical standards, communist philosophy, violence, sexual and moral anarchy, theft of the productive man’s labor, and other violations of God’s Law, are wicked fools.
“Those who forsake God’s law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive with them.” (Proverbs 28:4)

 

Men and women of Biblical faith must rise up and oppose the wicked, and seek to remove them from their positions of leadership in our society. It is critical that evil rulers be removed from their positions in civil government. The purpose of civil government is to protect the righteous from the wicked, and to punish the wicked.
“For a ruler is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.” (Romans 13:4)
Officials in civil government enact laws which govern the code of conduct expected of every member of society. Morality is a code of conduct. Therefore, civil government enacts a code of morality upon society. The question is this, “Whose morality do you want enacted into law, God’s standard or the standard of foolish, wicked, evil rulers?”
When wicked laws are adopted, society decays. “The wicked strut about on every side, when vileness is exalted in the land.” (Psalm 12:8)
Jesus gave the Church His Great Commission.

“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18–20)
As Christians, our first responsibility is to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world. Jesus Christ carried the guilt of your and my sins to the cross on Calvary’s Hill, where He gave up His life as an atonement for our sins. Then up from the grave He arose on the first Easter Sunday, proving that His sacrifice was acceptable to God.
“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, now being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:21-24)
This is the good news of the Gospel that we preach. Confess that you are a sinner, because you have violated God’s Law, and repent from your sins. Place your confidence in Jesus Christ as your Savior and make Him the Lord of your life. This is the Word of faith that we are proclaiming to those who will hear, “that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
So, when a person places his confidence and faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior, he experiences new life. He is born again in Christ.
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
Those who receive this good news need to be nurtured and discipled.
Those who reject God’s salvation, and promote wickedness and every evil thing, must be opposed. This is the second part of Jesus Christ’s Great Commission. We are to “make disciples of all the nations.” As more and more individuals are converted to Christ within a society, then the laws of that society will inevitably begin to reflect God’s Biblical standards, as Bible believing individuals are elected to office and as evil rulers are removed.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen for his inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12)
“Righteousness exalts the nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.“ (Psalm 14:34)
Here is a suggested prayer on this topic.
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord, I ask you to open up opportunities for me to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are lost in their sins like I was. Help me disciple those who place their faith in Christ. For those who reject the gospel of Christ, who oppose Your moral Law and Your Word, and who practice and promote wickedness, evil, and perversion, I ask you to release your discipline and correction upon them, so that they might know that You are the Sovereign God of the universe. Remove them from their positions of authority and leadership. Cut in two their cords of wickedness, so that their evil behavior will not infect the members of society, especially my children, my grandchildren and my heritage. Lord, in accordance with your word I claim “that the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” (Proverbs 13:22)
Lord, may Your will be done in the lives of these individuals who hate You and your Law.
Please prosper those who are faithful to submit to your Sovereign authority, accept Christ as Savior, Lord and King, and obey your Word according to your promise. “This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate upon it, day and night, to be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have success.” (Joshua 1:8)
In the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, Lord and King, I offer this prayer. Amen.

     My wife and I are not really poor or destitute,   but payday is always welcome, and I LIKE to pay my monthly bills, etc.,  ASAP, to just get them out of my mind,  so I suppose that's just the way I am "hard wired," and a creature of habit.  
       And did you also know that the KJV Bible recorded the fact that ancient Israel could and did, legally, sell their sons and daughters or selves INTO SLAVERY to pay off debts, to survive, etc. ??   But every 50 years was called the "Jubilee Year," when EVERYONE was restored to their original parcel of land/ property, and all debts were  canceled out !   It was Father God - Yahweh's good, smart, merciful plan and Law Covenant to do things that way.  And slaves/ servants HAD TO BE treated humanely,  with good food, clothes and housing,  according the Law in Deuteronomy, etc., !   In fact,  Deuteronomy 27: 19, says,   "Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow.  And all the people shall say,  Amen."     But God gave the Perfect Law Code to an IMPERFECT group of People... for a reason, to magnify their own imperfections.  Later on,  the Father would bring His only begotten Son, Jesus, as the PERFECT ransom, blood, Sacrifice -- which would also bring everlasting forgiveness and the ONLY way to heaven.   
       You know, friends,  humans can wish and want all their live long days on earth --- but only the Father's Will --- be done !   So,  if some of us [even Christians] have a 'rebellious spirit' or a  'evil heart,'  we should pray, daily, that the Holy Spirit CHANGE OUR HEARTS before the Lord Jesus comes back to 'clean house !'   I had to do that several times in my life, already, and I still pray and beg for the "Fruits of the Spirit,"  at Galatians 5: 22.   Humble yourselves before it is too late.   Test everything that a pastor/ preacher says is actually written in the Bible, book, chapter and verse !   Do not be misled.   If you are actively donating $$$  Money to any church or religious organization,  make sure that all they teach and preach is Biblical !   Or... you might be supporting one of Satan's churches, and you will have to answer for that.    

I hope that your Winter is not too severe this year, and your car/ auto/ truck is safe and roadworthy, dear  friends.   Have a great, positive, productive day!

December 1st, 2017 In the United States, Thanksgiving had just ended and Black Friday had begun. It was a little after noon in Egypt -- the troubled area of the northern Sinai. As many as 30 men wearing masks and military-style uniforms rolled up to a mosque in SUVs displaying ISIS flags. They jumped out and surrounded the building. Hell broke loose. They set off two bombs, fired rocket-propelled grenades into the building, and sprayed automatic weapons fire into and outside the mosque. Some of them torched surrounding vehicles to cut off escape routes. As people tried to escape through doors and windows, they were gunned down. When ambulances began to arrive, the jihadists attacked them, too. When it was finally over, more than 300 Muslim worshipers lay dead. More than 100 were injured. Of the dead, at least 27 were children. In just a few minutes, it became the deadliest terror attack in Egypt's already-bloody history. And it wasn't Muslim jihadists attacking infidels, but Muslim jihadists attacking other Muslims. More specifically, Sufi Muslims. But then ISIS sees Sufis as heretics so, apparently, they deserve to die since they're a threat to true Islam! The northern Sinai is a harsh, brutal desert. It borders the Suez Canal to the west and the Gaza Strip to the east. The region's remote areas have become terrorist hideaways and training grounds. Previously, the jihadists of the Sinai (including ISIS) had been focusing their attacks on Egyptian troops, police, and local Christian churches. In 2015, they blew a Russian airliner out of the sky. But does this attack on a mosque leave any doubt that Islamic jihadists are irretrievably bent on destroying anyone or anything of which they disapprove? And if they are brutal with their own, can we doubt they will enter and destroy "the Great Satan" -- America -- at any opportunity they have? Ezekiel 38 prophesies about one of the most important end-times events: a confederacy of nations attacking Israel during the Tribulation. The prophecy was written more than 2,500 years ago. That means the names of the nations have changed, but they are still identifiable. One of the nations named in the prophecy is Persia. Of course, Persia is modern day Iran. In fact, it is still correct to call Iran by its ancient name. "Iran" only came into common use in 1935. In the past, I have given you many reasons why I believe that one of the other countries named in the prophecy -- Magog -- is modern-day Russia. Though there will be other nations in the confederacy, there is one more that is prominent today. Scripture names four groups -- Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Beth Togarmah -- which now are part of modern-day Turkey. Just last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted a summit with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Even Syrian President Bashar al-Assad attended. The four of them were declaring victory in Syria. That's odd, since up until now President Erdogan of Turkey has been a sworn enemy of the Assad regime. In fact, Turkey has been assisting the opposition in fighting Assad. But that has apparently changed under the increasingly dictatorial Erdogan. He envisions a revival of the theocratic Ottoman Empire in formerly-secular Turkey. Turkey is still a member of NATO, but its loyalties have clearly shifted away from the U.S. and the west, and to Russia. In fact, Russia is equipping Turkey with its formidable S-400 anti-aircraft system. What with the recent return of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri -- who mysteriously fled to Saudi Arabia and announced his resignation as PM, then just as mysteriously renounced his resignation and returned to Lebanon -- strange things are happening fast and furiously in the Middle East. What's next? No one knows for certain, but we know for sure that the attention and fury of the world will remain focused on Israel and that region until Jesus returns. And it's not going to get better! In the early 1970s, I wrote a book called "Satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth." At that time, cults were the fad of the hour. A generation of Americans had begun to search for deeper meaning in their lives. Most of them wanted to have that meaning without the restrictions they associated with the Bible. Over the years, several notable, cult-related, horrific tragedies such as the Tate-LaBianca murders, Jonestown, Waco, and Heaven's Gate, caused many of the cults and their leaders to camouflage their activities and pursue more subtle methods. With the recent death of Charles Manson, I decided to run a quick check on the state of cults in America. Guess what. They are still here and some are operating on massive scales and with depressing results. Some of them are pulling in celebrities and well-known leaders of government and business. And, no, I'm not talking about the Church of Scientology. On this week's program, I am going to examine in more detail recent revelations about a self-improvement movement called Nxivm. (Pronounced "Nexium.") Though thousands have utilized Nxivm's "Executive Success Programs," I'm sure most of them are not aware that Nxivm has a darker, more brutal and disturbing side. Cults always do. It was only Satan's kind of thinking that could have prompted 900 adults to kill their children, then kill themselves, in the jungles of Guyana in 1978. And it's only Satan's kind of thinking that could prompt beautiful young women to allow themselves to be physically branded -- with white-hot branding irons and burning flesh -- to show their loyalty to Nxivm's leader. But it happened and is still happening. Indeed, Satan IS alive and well on Planet Earth! Сейчас, в год, 2017... жизнь становится настолько опасным, что даже США в настоящее время беспокоит Северная Корея стрельба МБР ------- ядерных ракет у нас и уничтожение нашей страны и других !
Мы все хотим быть в Божьей милости и доброты, что бы ни случилось, и Его дар для нас, Его Сын, Иисус Христос, и небо ! Все люди на земле имеют право и свободу самообороны, в соответствии с Библией, но это должно быть последним средством, по моему скромному мнению. Как может даже быть "победителя" в ядерной войне? Многие хорошие русские люди пришли в США, и теперь они счастливы с хорошей жизнью. Я рад за них, тоже.

   I just cannot say enough about SAFETY, and having a "Cool Head" in regards to firearms !   First,  My father trained me with my first .410 gauge shotgun on the farm for my 13th birthday, single shot.  He was in WW-2, Navy SeaBee, and wounded in Saipan.   Then the U.S. Army trained me at Fort Campbell, KY., USA, Basic Training.   Let me tell you, guys and gals,  in real life, the better, positive, learn a trade/ skill college education will take you far,  but it's best to get a "well rounded" education including a complete, full, KJV Bible ENRICHMENT STUDY, too.   Just read it.   Period.  
       Father God, Yahweh, places a lot of value on LIFE, especially HUMAN LIFE,  but there are also penalties for wrong doing, and plenty of Scripture to support lethal self defense and protecting your loved ones.   But many times the 'local law' leaves some gray area and court cases can twist and pervert justice.   So,  I have purchased a special 'gun attorney' installment...  just in case I ever have to use a gun in self defense,  and I pray that never happens !  
     Now,  we smart humans also invest in fire alarms, smoke detectors, auto, house, and life insurance,  fire extinguishers and contingency plans....  JUST IN CASE SOMETHING LIKE A DISASTER HAPPENS !     It's just good common sense, folks.   And did you know that the majority of illegal aliens who cross our Southern Border  [hint- hint], rarely carry auto insurance... as they think it's a waste of money, etc. ??   So you know all that baloney is passed on to you and I !   But the country that those folks come from have very strict laws, and throw Americans in prison with joy and laughter !   What's wrong with that picture ?    American,  Beware !

Now,  the Left Wingers will, of course call us, "Racists" for just posting truths like I do.   But the KJV Bible prophesized that these very things WOULD happen.  Don't be amazed  --- Be Prepared and Forewarned.   You might want to share this humble post with your friends.   And the good, President Donald Trump is just setting things/ the truth straight, and fighting fire with fire.... no less.   We have to ask ourselves:   "Do we Want to Win the Battle,  or just fall deeper into the quick sand in the Swamp ?"    President Trump may be 'DELAYING' the final Judgment just a bit --- and this time really should be SPENT on helping other good people get off the fence and on to God's side, and ready for the Rapture !   But on the other hand,  Satan the devil, is also 'harvesting' as many goofy humans as possible,  because he knows that his time on Earth is short !   He and his demons will soon be thrown into a deep, dark,  abyss, locked up for 1000 years !   See:  Revelation, the last book in the Bible.

The 3 Things You Absolutely Must Do If You Carry Concealed

We learn many things in the course of becoming a person who chooses to conceal carry. In my case it started with a keen interest in military history and firearms, which started me on collecting. As I trained and used the guns I collected I also read about military and civilian development of firearms. I began thinking about the legal and moral responsibilities of using the weapons on a geopolitical level and personal level, i.e. when I walked out of the house carrying.
I quickly found out that handgun safety and effective operation of the gun you choose is just the tip of the iceberg. Proper gun, holster and clothing choices are an ongoing learning experience based on many factors. There’s a lot of article and book reading you can do on these subjects to learn more. When, why and how to use your weapon if ever necessary is equally discussed and every bit as important. if not more so. I look to the great Massad Ayoob and his writings on the topic for my own guidance. His experience and no-nonsense, sobering opinions are without equal. I strongly suggest reading his stuff if you carry or are considering it.
Through all of this there are a few points I consider crucial that just don’t seem to come up as much as cool new guns or ammo. Believe me I love guns and ballistic tests I could read about them all day but if you are gonna carry you better keep it real!
STAY AWAKE
It’s important to be comfortable with the operation of your gun and to have it be comfortable literally in how you carry it, but do not become complacent. You have power over life and limb on your hip which means you must be as clear and consciously awake as you possibly can be. That relates to not carrying if you are drinking. Not carrying if you are doing drugs (prescription drugs can interfere with clear thinking as much as illegal recreational drugs). Not carrying if you’re experiencing extreme emotions (anger, sadness, anxiety, jealousy, etc).
An increasing problem is the attention given to hand-held devices. When you’re out in public and you’re carrying, pay attention to the real world. Earbuds literally cancel one of your most important senses. If you have a gun anywhere on your body you simply can no longer afford to be oblivious. Someone might see your gun and come up and try to take it from you. Or a situation might develop around you and because you had headphones on, you missed it. You could shoot the wrong person because you didn’t know what was really going on, or you could be caught up in violence because you weren’t paying attention.
MAKE A PLAN
Plan with your family for what you will do if shit hits the fan and you must protect them and yourself. You will not be able to do much if your family is screaming and clinging to you or standing in your line of fire. They must know to get behind you if at all possible–never in between you and the threat. And have a personal plan for what happens after you have had no other choice but to use your weapon to stop a threat i.e. you put your gun on the ground, open the chamber, you sit calmly with your hands in plain view awaiting directions from law enforcement which are on their way because YOU have called them even if others have as well.
BE HUMBLE
Anyone looking for trouble or with a need to show the world what a bad ass they are has absolutely no business with a gun concealed carry or in any other circumstance. It’s actually the exact opposite. When you carry a gun for the purpose of protection you can never be the aggressor in any form, be it road rage , a neighbor that wont be quiet in the middle of the night or somebody saying the wrong thing to your girlfriend on date night! As warranted as that may be you must be aware of what you your actions would look like to a jury in a court setting.
Your ability to carry is merely a final line of defense when all else has failed. It does not make you Superman or above the law. For those who choose to carry the benefit of knowing there is a final line of defense if we ever need it obviously outweighs the hassle it takes to do it or we wouldn’t do it. So if you choose to carry and accept the personal accountability it requires you to do these 3 things every time: Stay awake. Make a Plan. Be humble
