Heart Arrhythmia.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

tschuckman@aol.com

Hello Friends,
My wife has been keeping and writing down noticeable challenges with me.  Sorry, but I don't quite accept many people's notion that my recent brother Albert's demise is the main fault of my panic attacks and scary shortness of breath.  My fine, brother was a good, hard working man, and blameless!   I am really starting to miss him now, and my Mom whom I used to call on the phone almost every other day, just to say "hi, how are you doing today."  Still, I cannot rule out "genetics," hereditary traits that our father passed down to his offspring... the good and the bad, and much of it didn't kick in until we reached the age 60.
I guess that our great, great, fore fathers just dropped over dead from heart attacks and strokes at younger ages, in their 50's and 40's many moons ago as the Kansas heat warmed things up.  That was my Dad's take on things, also.  As I often say,  "The Apple never falls far from the tree."  We Christians pray and so happy to counted as Christ's soldiers and saints, Saved by virtue of the Holy Spirit when we decided to serve the Lord, also worship the Father!

It is my humble opinion that we [the VA] and me have only been treating the symptoms rather than the root cause.   Now, after too many scares and too many VA Hospital dull wittedness,  I am doing more research and demanding sooner TREATMENTS!!  BTW, I enjoy a large circle of combat Vietnam Veterans that email, phone and message me, as well as talking to many smart Vet's at the local Iron Mtn., MI., in the U.P. to get their opinions and wealth of raw/ also refined facts.  I hope that I am not scaring you all away with all this sorry, morbid talk today.  If I only write about things but never act, I may just live a few more years,  but I will certainly die anyway, eventually, or be RAPTURED up to heaven, and that can't be too far off either!  Woo--Woo!   A good soldier is always prepared and orderly.

Back to the chosen subject... God loves us anyway, but especially those who bend knee to His Son, Jesus and obey.  If you believe that THIS LIFE is the proving ground for the next life--- and there MUST BE some priorities for a Christian.
But we simply cannot worship and serve Yahweh [The Father] if we are dead!   The apostle Luke was a doctor, so that people who had money could be treated.  And we know that having SOME legal form of money, including Silver, gold and copper, etc., has since changed to worthless paper!  Get the drift of my idea:  Working to support ourselves and saving/ perhaps investing, is proper, good, responsible and promoted by wise men, elders in the church, apostles, Saints, and Spirit Bourne Writers of our KJV Bible.   By the way {BTW},  reading the King James Version of the Bible IS A GOOD, SMART, even entertaining thing to do.  But do a little study to research the Bible, itself, and learn how to use it as a "tool."  It is so poetic, blunt, pure and dynamic!  Please don't go thru life as an ignorant buffoon and also lose out on everlasting life with Lord  Jesus and millions of other great people.
Well,  I am now thinking that heart arrhythmia runs in my family and perhaps extended!   Obviously, our local VA Hosp. in the great woods of MI., doesn't have the right people, the right machines or where with all, but I might drive down there if my sever panic attacks and cardiac challenges continue.  In the meantime, maybe some of  you people can lend light on herbs and home remedies that I can try.   I am not preoccupied in some EMP scare, but I think we all want a small storage of medical tools, smarts and savvy, just in case.  I think that many other Veterans ponder things like this and also prepare, just in case.

Have a great, peaceful day and night, [and I can always use your prayers,

Tom Schuckman

A Great true Story of the Combat Veterans in a good VA Hospital.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

tschuckman@aol.com

Hi  Friends and Gentle Readers,
Today I cut and pasted something very important, but most  younger folks in the USA never heard nor do they want to hear and see.  Sorry... but NOT sorry.  Someone needs to pick up the Flag and the torch of Liberty and Truth at this point in time.  Thanks to someone with a good intellect, Thomas N. share this article with me.  Thanks.

The article is a bit long, but very stimulating, for sure.  And I well know that I criticize the various VA hospitals in the USA, but there definitely are some Great, well run VA facilities that many combat Veterans stand up for and rave!  This is the story is one of them.

Warm Regards,

SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO PASS THIS ON, PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THE CONTENT OR YOU MAY BE UNSUBSCRIBED FROM MY EMAIL LIST.

This should be required reading in every school and college in our country. This Captain, an Army doctor, deserves a medal himself for putting this together. If you choose not to pass it on, fine, but I think you will want to, after you read it.

I am a doctor specializing in the Emergency Departments of the only two military Level One-Trauma Centers, both in San Antonio , TX . We care for civilian emergencies as well as military personnel. San Antonio has the largest military retiree population in the world living here. As a military doctor, I work long hours and the pay is less than glamorous. One tends to become jaded by the long hours, lack of sleep, food, family contact and the endless parade of human suffering passing before you. The arrival of another ambulance does not mean more pay, only more work. Most often, it is a victim from a motor vehicle crash.

Often it is a person of dubious character who has been shot or stabbed.
With our large military retiree population, it is often a nursing home patient. Even with my enlisted service and minimal combat experience in Panama , I have caught myself groaning when the ambulance brings in yet another sick, elderly person from one of the local retirement centers that cater to military retirees. I had not stopped to think of what the citizens of this age group represented.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/18151437.jpg

I saw 'Saving Private Ryan.' I was touched deeply. Not so much by the carnage, but by the sacrifices of so many. I was touched most by the scene of the elderly survivor at the graveside, asking his wife if he'd been a good man. I realized that I had seen these same men and women coming through my Emergency Dept. and had not realized what magnificent sacrifices they had made. The things they did for me and everyone else that has lived on this planet since the end of that conflict are priceless.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/6151441.jpg

Situation permitting, I now try to ask my patients about their experiences. They would never bring up the subject without my inquiry. I have been privileged to hear an amazing array of experiences, recounted in the brief minutes allowed in an Emergency Dept. encounter. These experiences have revealed the incredible individuals I have had the honor of serving in a medical capacity, many on their last admission to the hospital.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/4151433.jpg

There was a frail, elderly woman who reassured my young enlisted medic, trying to start an IV line in her arm. She remained calm and poised, despite her illness and the multiple needle-sticks into her fragile veins. She was what we call a 'hard stick.' As the medic made another attempt, I noticed a number tattooed across her forearm. I touched it with one finger and looked into her eyes. She simply said, ' Auschwitz ..' Many of later generations would have loudly and openly berated the young medic in his many attempts. How different was the response from this person who'd seen unspeakable suffering.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/16151440.jpg

Also, there was this long retired Colonel, who as a young officer had parachuted from his burning plane over a Pacific Island held by the Japanese. Now an octogenarian, he had a minor cut on his head from a fall at his home where he lived alone. His CT scan and suturing had been delayed until after midnight by the usual parade of high priority ambulance patients. Still spry for his age, he asked to use the phone to call a taxi, to take him home, then he realized his ambulance had brought him without his wallet. He asked if he could use the phone to make a long distance call to his daughter who lived 7 miles away. With great pride we told him that he could not, as he'd done enough for his country and the least we could do was get him a taxi home, even if we had to pay for it ourselves. My only regret was that my shift wouldn't end for several hours, and I couldn't drive him myself.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/5151442.jpg

I was there the night M/Sgt Roy Benavidez came through the Emergency Dept. for the last time. He was very sick. I was not the doctor taking care of him, but I walked to his bedside and took his hand. I said nothing. He was so sick, he didn't know I was there. I'd read his Congressional Medal of Honor citation and wanted to shake his hand. He died a few days later.

the former Viet Nam Corps Commander.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/3151434.jpg
I may still groan when yet another ambulance comes in, but now I am much more aware of what an honor it is to serve these particular men and women.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/14151438.jpg
I have seen a Congress who would turn their back on these individuals who've sacrificed so much to protect our liberty. I see later generations that seem to be totally engrossed in abusing these same liberties, won with such sacrifice.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/1151431.jpg
It has become my personal endeavor to make the nurses and young enlisted medics aware of these amazing individuals when I encounter them in our Emergency Dept. Their response to these particular citizens has made me think that perhaps all is not lost in the next generation.

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/7151432.jpg
My experiences have solidified my belief that we are losing an incredible generation, and this nation knows not what it is losing. Our uncaring government and ungrateful civilian populace should all take note. We should all remember that we must   'earn this.'

http://static.tinyletter.com/PresCBVets/img/beam/5396993/15151446.jpg

If it weren't for the United States Military, there'd be   NO   United States of America !

And now as you have finished reading this, our Congress enjoys their   free   medical care, are in the process of charging these people for their medical care and at the same time possibly reducing their retirement pay. A typical political  UNGRATEFUL "Thank you" for their Service

If you choose not to pass it on, fine, but I think you will want to.

How the VAMC Works U.P. here.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

tschuckman@aol.com

Hi Friends,
I thought I would download this:  ALL NEWS PIPELINE, today and see what you all think about it.  It's not about 'liking something' but TRUSTING something new that you find!

Perhaps I am too dogmatic, pushy, aggressive,  but I know my history and Scriptures well, and also know that things MUST get worse, and so I prepare, teach and share what I know.  Maybe this and that will happen, but even recently huge floods, tornadoes, drought, crop failures, fires,  and politics might cause regional food shortages.  Do what you all think is right!  Ha!  recently we thought we were well stocked with some of my favorite drinks and food, and then all of a sudden we could not get a certain brand/ type of wine!  And that happened a few weeks ago because of floods in the far Western States.   The big trucks could not make the deliveries to where we live.   But it can and will get worse.  The people who live so far North near me are mostly poor folks who fish and hunt game, and baloney is no stranger to them...LOL.  I like to help out folks at Christian churches with advice and know how, etc., and hope to join a good church U.P. here soon, now that Summer is nigh.

I am still suffering and grieving my brother Albert's demise about 12 days ago.  Sure, we disagreed with each other most of our lives and traded 'barbs' and jokes.  But now he is gone, really gone.   Please let me share something with you good readers... that my sister was there with Albert at the very end and allowed me to talk with Albert, and he had great physical PAIN and AGONY, but he was talking about getting back with our Dad, deceased sister, Denise,  and Mom.  One day later and Al was dead, from a rapid, very aggressive type of a bad invasion of cancer that already messed u p many important organs.  I just don't know how my brother could tolerate all that intense pain.  I am sorry for him and his family, and now I am also depressed and dealing with my own infirmities and pains from Old Age and many injuries.

I have found after searching and observing all my life of 70 years that when people finally "find the Lord Jesus Christ" and gain the H.S. -- Holy Spirit, that they "change for the better" no matter if they are rich or poor!  They suddenly learn about God's divine Mercy and Love for all mankind, however MOST humans will not receive the Holy Spirit [in time] because they are misled from STD --Satan the Devil, and their own greedy, selfish, pagan, lusts and desires... sorry.   OK,  I know that I have bent  your ears so many times with this 'News' for it's important and true.  Most people in the world refuse to even crack open the Bible to see if the words are true or not !!   And after the Rapture comes --- it will be too late... sorry again.  And then they will experience a demon infested world, and super hard times, death and hurt--- worse than ANY TIME ON EARTH, including the great flood in Noah's Day.
It's just like the Army and Navy, as they train hard to fight and battle our enemies in some horrible war that they hope they will never face!   Yes, Soldiers want a lasting peace too, but they are trained to do all the 'dirty work' that the Lefty-Looney Millennials, etc., are too lazy and cowardly to do.   "Yet they sleep under the mantle of security that our younger warriors provide!"
And even now the VA [Veterans Administration], still hurts, cheats, abuses and gives poor service to our disabled combat Veterans in the USA !!  We have hard times getting our proper medicines in good order, on time, or even at all!!   This really upsets me, as I have received the 'dirty end of the stick' just the other day, again.  I asked for a small increase of a certain medication [ and it won't even get us high or spaced out--- joke] but they don't care, and they told me to just TRY and last another week on the old schedule, and let their underlings break the news to me, and I had no recourse.  I am a Christian and will certainly NEVER hurt any other human being even after they crap on me, nor will I ever hurt or kill myself!   OK, I am just blowing off some steam right now, but all this is true.  I go to the Iron Mountain, MI., VAMC, but they just cannot afford the well trained, good, experienced Doctors and staff to serve this huge Veteran community up North.  I only ask them kindly to DO THEIR JOBS, and help us Veterans.  They all get paid well for helping us.  But many of them are so 'laid back' that they appear lazy, and only there for the paycheck.  Milwaukee, WI., VAMC is much worse, but North Chicago has morphed into a fine Federal VAMC facility!!And I have heard good things about the VA in Madison, WI.  Just trying to be fair.
   More latter.

Warm Regards,
Thomas G Schuckman

Scandal rocks RCC in Poland.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Hi Friends,
I have experienced some sour times after coming home in 1970, also suffering from some PTSD [and later getting good help with that too.].  But having an aching heart after being misled too many times, I also got sucked into a "False Religion-- JW-cult" for 22 years, but then I did find the Lord.  I like to help others with that kind of challenge.  But indeed it is complicated and daunting to just quit a 'belief system' that might also turn the family against you and other so-called 'friends.'  It's true that the "Truth will set  you free," but it takes some courage and hard work and study!  Starting with the KJV Bible, IMHO, is the first place to start.  I am available to help if I can.  My Email:  tschuckman@aol.com
Hint:  There are so MANY false religions in the USA and the world!  But once you have the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, God will never forsake you!  Just remember that, 'The devil is roaming the world like a roaring lion seeking to devour more humans.'   We can never let down our guard until we get to heaven.
And to be sure, it's more than just the RCC that commits these harmful sins!  Beware.

Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

Illegal Aliens taking Vital Resources from Military Veterans.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

 tschuckman@aol.com

Hi Friends and Gentle Readers:
At least THIS President, DONALD TRUMP is smart enough to understand and defend Legal Americans and Disabled, Homeless U.S. Veterans!   And as I remember it was Obama who did so much to stymy combat troops in the field, tying their hands and taking away their Rights.  Big Shame on Mr. Obama and his greedy servants.
I vividly remember also how the AFVN News and Radio [in Vietnam] bent over backwards to screen [and censor] most News and Info to the fighting troops, to protect 'good order, discipline, and the 'winning spirit.'  Keep the moral high.   Now with all the runaway Lefty-Loosey Dims and influence from foreign hacking, etc., I wonder how our good troops feel about these things.   I always like to build them up and show respect.   So I don't think that the movie,  "GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM," was too far off the real deal.
I should not have to push my point that guys back home who never joined the Armed Forces feel some sort of "guilt" and that too many nice guys joined the Army, Marines, etc., NOT FOR GLORY and fame, but they were not going anywhere back home and decided to join something much BIGGER than themselves, and later in life they could tell their kids and grandkids about the war in S.E. Asia, Vietnam, etc., and how we were led to believe that our cause was Just.  I lost some buddies too!  But the learned wisdom, knowledge, training and leadership skills actually gave us an 'edge' after we came home to catch up with the current workforce.  In fact, I got hired mostly for my 'Veteran status' and worked myself into better-skilled jobs all thru life, including 30.5 years at AMERICAN MOTORS CORP./  CHRYSLER, in Kenosha, WI.  And I also found jealousy there too, that we were spoiled....Ha!   Well, those little wimps never worked a full day on the Assembly line!  One time the company down at the Lake Front Plant in Kenosha put on the 2nd shift, and we saw at least 12 "new guys" walk out at noon and never return!   OK,  Yes, there were some very tough jobs in the Plant.  I was a welder for the first 17.3 years until I moved to the "Motor Division," and after that, I got laid off my good paying job with Health Insurance for 5 long years.   I just went back to college and learn more Welding skills, etc.  I got called back to work at Chrysler in May of 1995.

To my way of thinking, a person can work hard and work "smart" but has he the sense to save/ invest his earned money WISELY ??   Good men don't plan to fail --- but they fail to PLAN??  Did they ensure that there is burial money and a decent income for their spouse?

Have the people MADE TIME to read and study the KJV Bible and other good books enough to realize that the Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus are 'looking for humble people to surrender their souls and yield to the Biblical Standard that brings much Peace and real Love to God's servants?'   Instead of getting caught up in violent, heathen beliefs such as Socialism, Terrorism, and Abortion?
The whole world is getting ready for something BIG, HUGE, to happen, and it will probably be a multitude of disasters, war, food shortages and then a 'One World Gov't and so-called One World Religion.   This WILL happen but AFTER the Rapture!   Just take your time and read the last book of the Bible, Revelation --- and things are already happening as we speak.   But you would need to have more than human smarts ---The Holy Spirit of God.  That is where the real learning and understanding begins.  I realize that too many humans usually push 'religion' and some priest, minister, pastor, or 'holy man' when we are about to die, and when we go before the Throne of God's Judgement, what lame excuse will we offer up to the Lord's when He asks us what work we have done for Him and His Kingdom?   OK, it is true that "we CANNOT WORK OUR WAY INTO HEAVEN--- WITH GOOD WORKS!"  But real Christians live their Faith and try to help out their neighbours all their lives!
I have spoken of these things many times in my life to most of the relatives, cousins, and friends to the point of them asking me to cease and desist.    I even got lost in "False Religion" in the 'JW-Cult' when I first got back home from Nam, but the Lord rescued me after 22 years.

I just like to have a few plans already set, organized, just in case there are a few surprises in the near future.   I like to keep myself informed so I can make the best-informed plan of action.   Bless my dear wife, who does so much for me!

Warm Regards,
Thomas G. Schuckman

Thomas,

Recently, Dr. Carson and the Trump Administration have taken action to block illegal aliens from U.S. public housing.

While American veterans and American citizens wait months for housing (some living in tents under bridges), 'immigrants' waltz in, move in and take up space set aside for needy Americans.

Thank you, Dr. Carson, and Thanks to President Trump for standing up for Americans, especially homeless veterans.
