Tom's Journal.

While half of the world celebrates and drinks too much with a big head ache tomorrow morning [or a DUI...] -- I thought this article was very interesting, and most women could relate to. I am going to bed early-- and I expect the sun to rise in the East in the morning... LOL. I am always interested in reading serious comments from readers and friends to my posts, SO PLEASE DON'T BE SHY.

It was another good day for us as the German cleaning lady came over for 3 hours, and I showed her my new German to English Bible that also came today-- she loved it and read from it for me. I just love different languages, but only consider myself fluent in English. If I had my way [and the time left on earth] I would want to learn Hebrew and Greek besides German and Spanish. I had hoped that the Army would send me to language school in Fort Ord, CA, but they sent me to Aviation school in Fort Rucker, Alabama, instead. At least I came home from combat with most of my skin, and I should be very thankful for that.

Happy New Year! I am sure there will be SOME things to be happy and rejoice for.

How Far Apart Are the Contractions?
by Heidi Swander
December 30, 2009

(Note from Jan: My assistant, Heidi Swander, is building on my e-newsletter of Monday found here.

In that e-mail, a link to a moving video did not work properly for many. It is corrected and find it here. In just six minutes, you will see why the hour is late and why nations have "distress with perplexity." (Luke 21:25)
I, too, want to recommend the book by Jack Kinsella and his daily e-newsletter. Jack and I have worked together as sister ministries for several years. He is a keen discerner of the times.
This is our last e-newsletter of 2009. We'll talk to you again next year!)

It was Jesus Himself, who made it quite plain that we should "discern the signs of the times" (Matt. 16:1-3).

And Jesus told His disciples regarding the run up to the end of the age, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matt. 24:6-8). The word translated "sorrows" in this context means "birth pangs." And what do we know about birth pangs?

In his excellent book, The Last Generation: Ten Signs of the End of the Age, Jack Kinsella, editor of The Omega Letter, gives insight into this last sentence. "Prospective parents in Jesus' day did exactly what I did with each of my kids -- timed the interval between the contractions. 'Labor pains' was a carefully chosen metaphor designed to resonate with all people, of all cultures, in all generations. But, to the generation to whom those signs were addressed, the meaning would be unmistakable."

So as we get closer and closer to the second coming of Jesus Christ, all of these signs will intensify, just as the labor pains of a mother-to-be. And since the Tribulation -- that seven-year period immediately preceding the second coming -- is where all of these signs escalate to a crescendo, what we see now is just the prelude; early labor, if you will. Let's tick these signs off and see where we're at today:

Wars and rumors of wars: The site provides a list of current conflicts on their military page and states, "The United Nations defines 'major wars' as military conflicts inflicting 1,000 battlefield deaths per year. In 1965, there were 10 major wars under way. The new millennium began with much of the world consumed in armed conflict or cultivating an uncertain peace."

Famines: In his book, Jack mentions an organization called, The Global Crop Diversity Trust. Apparently fear of impending global famine is so great that this group has created what they call The Doomsday Vault. According to Jack, this vault is "a cavernous concrete room carved from the side of a mountain on a frozen island located less than six hundred miles from the North Pole. The room is designed to hold around two million seeds, representing all known varieties of the world's crops." The idea is that in a worst-case-scenario this trust would be able to reconstruct all agriculture on the planet.

Pestilences (diseases): The Web site of The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (there's a whole organization researching pestilences!) hosts fact sheets on a multitude of infectious maladies. Today we have AIDS, E. coli, H1NI, cancer, SARS, a variety of STDs, and many, many more diseases that were unheard of even 100 years ago. And penicillin-resistant varieties of many diseases are emerging, which means we have nothing to fight them off. And the bugs keep mutating to deadlier varieties.

Earthquakes: The most readily comparable information I found on the Web shows that, overall, there was a definite increase in earthquakes between 1990 and 2009. "The December 26, 2004, earthquake that spawned the Great Asian Tsunami was one of the worst natural disasters in recorded history," Jack notes. "The earthquake that set it off was so powerful that it actually repositioned the island of Sumatra by some 100 feet to the southwest."

Whoa. I know that one gave me pause. Made me think about the many Tribulation earthquakes the Apostle John noted for us in the book of Revelation (6:12; 8:5; 11:13; 11:19; 16:18 -- and this last "such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth").

Add to all of these facts the hysterical rush to form a one-world government, including a one-world economic structure (Rev. 13:16-18), and a one-world religion (Rev. 13:11-15) and evidence becomes pretty overwhelming. I'd say the contractions are coming at regular intervals!

I highly recommend you read Jack's book. He presents a lot more clear and undeniable evidence that points to our generation being the one Jesus spoke of when He said, "This generation shall not pass until all these things be fulfilled" (Matt. 24:34), including the restoration of Israel; the alignment of the nations for the Gog/Magog war; false christs; the rampage of deception in our world; terrors in the sun, moon, and stars; the revival of the Roman Empire; and the mark of the beast.

It sure does seem we are sitting on the precipice of the time foretold by Old Testaments prophets as well as Jesus and the apostles. Paul admonished the Christians in Thessalonica to be watchful and sober (I Thess. 5:6). He tells them -- and us -- that we are "sons of light and sons of the day" and, as such, we shouldn't be blindsided by what is happening around us. It has all been foretold and is playing out just as God said it would.

Jesus gave another labor analogy that can give us hope as we see these signs unfolding: "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world" (John 16:21).
We are living in exciting, if uncertain, times. Let's look at what is taking place around us and anticipate with joy the culmination of all of God's promises! Wow. What an honor to be on-site for the delivery!

Always looking up!

Wisconsin Veterans in Union Grove Vet's Home get Shafted.

Tom's Journal.

And don't we all expect the State and Fed Gov't to slap our Veterans FIRST when money is getting short/ tight?? Please email/ send this message to ALL OF YOUR respective Congress people, State Reps, Senators and other Vet Orgs, etc.
Thank you!

Tom Schuckman

To All Veterans and concerned citizens;

The Board of Vets Affairs will be meeting at the Veterans Home in Union Grove, Wisconsin 53182, on the 14th and 15th of January. I will send out the times when I get them but I would like to have as many vets in jackets at these meetings as possible.

These guys (including my dad) are getting screwed over big time. They will be charged over $3500 per month in assisted living to have an employee empty their garbage can once per week and be forced to eat pre-cooked food from King 3 times per day.

As we all know, these guys could be staying in a Marriott with lap dances and good food for less than that.

These guys are vets....... and, we are next up on the list to stay in these facilities. There are empty rooms that they can't fill, there is the crappy food issue. There is the issue of current residents in tears because they can't afford the rent.

This is a VETS HOME FOR VETS !! What's wrong with this picture?

Let's all show up for these meetings and protest. Remember when protesting was cool. This is America. These are vets that served their Country that are about to be thrown onto the streets when they need help the most.,

What's this about? It is plain old politics. If we can't get around this issue, what else is there..........

Steve Klinkhammer

Mates, here's more;

I was at the Vet's home today for the meeting with Ken Black (secretary of DVA). They are "still working the issue" of how vets are going to pay for their room and board.

As you may or may not know, the vets trust fund is the pool that $$ come from. That money comes from the State and is used to support all Wisconsin vet's programs from education to cemeteries. That fund is shrinking at an alarming rate and the State is running a deficit.

All of that said, there are major issues at the Vet's home in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Rate increases January 1st, bad food that is trucked in frozen from King and then reheated, guys dying from freezing (in the paper).

I believe that we as local chapters of National organizations need to get involved.

The next Department of Vets Affairs board meeting is Friday morning, January 15th @ 0900. It will be in the basement of Boland Hall (the skilled nursing facility).

Can this be passed on via the RVC website and to our club members. I plan on attending and would love to see a shitload of our jackets in the crowd.

Watch the Middle East NOW!

Tom's Journal.

Now I feel that I was behind the 8 ball after reading the following article about the coming War in the Middle East that MIGHT be happening in January 2010~!! Wow! Please, let me catch my breathe. If my previous time tables were off and I thought that we might have had another 6 months to one year-- I apologize to all.
As the goofy obama administration was so busy working on it's own National Health Care issues... and Barry on the golf course--- the Middle East oven was already set on 'broil' and we all knew that Iran has had it's nuclear armaments on the fast track-- UNDERGROUND, but we Americans took no note-- or guessed that they would not be battle ready for another year or so... LOL!

Hey! Just like in the days of Noah-- humans were eating and drinking and going on with their every day rat race-- and TOOK NO NOTE, and BANG! The Global Flood came and drowned all but 8 people in the Ark. I know, 95% of the world could care less about Bible Prophecy and stuff, like my respected friends and I post concerning a full scale war in the Middle East-- perhaps in WEEKS, but I hope I am wrong! This only sets things in motion. It's almost like a football game and you know the players / team so well that they will have to punt on the 4th down.

Now, will this news [if correct] have any bearing on what YOU WILL DO TOMORROW ??? Ha! It's like one of those cataclysmic total destruction movies like TOWERING INFERNO, or TITANIC that changes everything in your life-- in a few minutes, forever. If you don't have a smart 'game plan' or get caught without any way out or survival plans [among them, total Faith and Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ] -- you might be dead meat. You sure won't "Sweat the small stuff", or polish the brass on a sinking ship, will you? And then, some will still trust in their stupid National leaders to do something at the last minute-- but they will ALL fail. The God of the Bible will be the ONLY Salvation, but most humans will still cling to their puny leaders who will lead them to destruction and hell. We Christians see the Bible Prophecy coming true right on schedule and in correct order -- just like you read your bank statement each month and check off the checks that were cashed in your little black book, to balance it. The Scriptures are that concise!

Why have I not heard or seen other Blogs talk about this particular article/ important news piece?? You say that you are all "TOO BUSY" with your everyday life to do something right today? To share this with your family and friends.
Ha! Some things never change. Many folks are getting ready to 'party down' get blind, stinking drunk on New Year's Eve, etc, office parties, immorality, gluttony, and blood on the highways. I also look at my own home and life to see where I can do more things for the Lord and grow closer to the Savior. Our God is Great and Mighty, and only He can Save us.

For more advice and comparing notes on what to do [for my friends and readers] -- you know my email address.

Warm Regards, Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ,

Report: Stats on American Vietnam Veterans.

Tom's Journal.

<<< style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);">While in college I had the chance to study and read many books that dealt with similar Statistics like these listed below. What many people forgot was all the lies and exaggerations of the Gov't and 'News Media' giving the Vietnam Veterans a bad rap, making it harder for us to find gainful employment, etc. PTSD and Agent Orange poisoning were always kept on the back burner until the Veterans or their children died-- so they couldn't get the medical benefits and financial awards due them. We don't want your pity-- we just want to set the record straight.

An easy way to check if a person is telling the truth about his being "in-country" Vietnam, is to look at his DD-214 separation paper/ document. We can't tolerlate LIARS and WANNABE's ! There should also be orders for every award and medal.

If I can personally help any real Vietnam Veteran with his fight with the VA, I will try my best.

Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

Better get out of the house and off your butt as there's a big long sleep awaiting ALL of us and nobody is exempt for this Ballot its one I will share with everybody this time and not just the chosen FEW.

Vietnam Vets Take Notice

Nobody wants to play the Grim Reaper here, but statistically based fact, shows that time apparently is in short supply for Nam Vets. Nothing is written in stone; however, on average, these stats are quite convincing, and perhaps discomforting to all who are affected.

On the bright side, in most scenarios, there can always be exceptions to all situations, and a certain percent will survive longer. Just who, and how many, is the unknown value...perhaps it is time to start on that "bucket list" that we never seem to have time for!

Some Important Data and Statistics: Please read on...

In case you haven't been paying attention these past few decades after you returned from Vietnam , the clock has been ticking. The following are some statistics that are at once depressing yet, in another sense, should give one a sense of pride.

"Of the 2,709,918 Americans who served in Vietnam; less than 850,000 are estimated to be alive today, with the youngest American Vietnam veteran's age approximated to be 54 years old."

So, if you're alive and reading this, how does it feel to be among the last 1/3rd of all the U.S. Vets who served in Vietnam ? Don't know about you, but kinda gives me the chills, considering this is the kind of information we are used to reading about WWII and Korean War vets.

So the last 14 years we are dying too fast, only a few will survive by 2015...if any.

If true, 390 VN vets die a day, on average. So in 2190 days from today, you're lucky to be a Vietnam veteran alive..... in only 6 years..

These statistics were taken from a variety of sources to include: The VFW Magazine, the Public Information Office, and the Forward Observer

1,713,823 of those who served in Vietnam were still alive as of August,1995 (census figures).

During that same Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country was: 9,492,958.

As of the current Census taken during August, 2000, the surviving U.S. Vietnam Veteran population estimate is: 1,002,511. This is hard to believe, losing nearly 711,000 between '95 and '00. That's 390 per day.

During this Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country is: 13,853,027. By this census, FOUR OUT OF FIVE WHO CLAIM TO BE Vietnam vets are not.

The Department of Defense Vietnam War Service Index officially provided by The War Library originally reported with errors that 2,709,918 U.S. military personnel as having served in-country. Corrections and confirmations to this erred index resulted in the addition of 358 U.S. military personnel confirmed to have served in Vietnam but not originally listed by the Department of Defense. (All names are currently on file and accessible 24/7/365).

Isolated atrocities committed by American Soldiers produced torrents of outrage from anti-war critics and the news media while Communist atrocities were so common that they received hardly any media mention at all. The United States sought to minimize and prevent attacks on civilians while North Vietnam made attacks on civilians a centerpiece of its strategy. Americans who deliberately killed civilians received prison sentences while Communists who did so received commendations.

From 1957 to 1973, the National Liberation Front assassinated 36,725 Vietnamese and abducted another 58,499. The death squads focused on leaders at the village level and on anyone who improved the lives of the peasants such as medical personnel, social workers, and school teachers. -

As I have repeated myself a few times, When other people with a grand reputation of having the learned, studied Wisdom and Knowledge repeat what I have posted-- I feel GOOD! Jan Markell always hits the truth right on the head! Her words hit home so hard that they give me a start-- my heart skips a beat. What a wake up call for all biblical Christians. Posts like hers help my depression lift as I know that I am on the right track, and I hope she helps YOU all FEEL GOOD TOO.

Now... just because the Bible says our future will be filled with more sorrow and stress, doesn't mean that we should all be scared and depressed. If anything, our biblical knowledge makes us realize that our Salvation and Deliverance is NEAR!
That reminds me, I need to order 2 more books from Randy Alcorn-- 'SAFELY HOME.' And I will have a great time when my newly ordered
German to English Parallel Bible gets here, plus the other 'pocket bibles' to hand out to others as I share the Gospel with them--- time is short!
And now we hear that Israel has OIL, and so the other Islamic nations who hate God's chosen people, have another reason to disinherit the Jews in Israel. Sparks will fly.... so hand on to your seats, bibles and keep your powder dry... LOL.

I would really enjoy getting to know some of you fine, serious Christians better by getting emails from you about your hobbies, desires, hopes and concerns-- and I could pray for YOU as you also pray for Sharon and I. I took Sharon out shopping this morning and then out to a hot lunch in Kenosha, WI, on the Lake, after I got the Chiropractor's adjustment. We get 'cabin fever' too and need to socialize, out and about.

Keep Clinging to Our Blessed Hope

By Jan Markell

December 28, 2009

Another year has passed and one wonders how the new year will play out.

I wrote two weeks ago that I believe the story of 2009 is the fact the world thought they had one man, a "messiah-like" guy who could make the world that was turning upside down set itself on a right course. While I am not in the forecasting business, expect to see more galloping globalism, a further rush to the one-world religion, an even greater "falling away" (II Thessalonians 2:3), an intensified yearning for a "global fix," and a lot more that the Bible outlines.

Keep your eye on the "epicenter" -- Israel. There is coming more conflict there than we can imagine. God will take care of Israel; it's the nations that are coming against her -- including America -- that need to be forewarned. America now has new foreign policy that gives Muslims an advantage and that throws Israel under the bus. This combination is both foolish and deadly.

Clearly 2009 was the year when total "strong delusion" came over our nation's leaders. Many Americans are even perplexed as to how to pray, for one cannot pray for policies that are anti-God. The perplexity of 2009 is how to deal with godlessness in leadership while clinging to the exhortations of the Bible. Right now, the two are irreconcilable.

The heartbreak of 2009 is the brick-by-brick dismantling of America by those in our midst who hate this shining beacon on a hill. No, God does not have a covenant with us like He does with Israel, but He has clearly blessed us abundantly. Another terror disaster was averted last week on a plane the evil ones planned to blow up in flight. That tells me God has not abandoned us as many other such attempts have been foiled this year as well. Many believe America is under judgment and that may be true. If so, things will get more difficult as perilous times are in overdrive. (II Timothy 3:1-9)

For a brilliant six-minute video presentation on the tide of our times, visit this link on my Web site.

One of the most stunning stories as it relates to Bible prophecy is the fact that oil has been found in Israel. This will give fuel -- no pun intended -- to the Gog/Magog invaders of Ezekiel 38-39.

Also, later in the week, my assistant, Heidi Swander, will look more carefully at the "birth pangs" we are now experiencing.

But to change America, our churches must be strong and sadly, that is the weak link. A nation is only as strong as believers and churches pray and praise. While many pastors hold to truth today, it would seem just as many have strayed into false doctrine leaving the sheep as "sheeple" and thus leaving America vulnerable. With "gospel lite" being preached in many places, the sheep don't even know what to pray against and what to stand for. And there are too few "watchmen on the wall" (Ezekiel 33:6). As in Nazi Germany, pastors now have to watch what they say or face possible "hate crimes." This is hardly a good scenario to help turn things around.

This year-end commentary is being sent to many who are "watchmen on the wall." Keep it up. Always "encourage one another" (Hebrews 10:25 ). If you see a hurting Christian brother or sister -- or an unbeliever who is particularly cast down -- take time to give them a good word. It will make their day in these turbulent times. They may be jobless, out of money, and feel there is little that is positive right now. Remind them that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Thank you for encouraging this ministry in 2009. Thank you for not abandoning us in our truth-telling and speaking the inconvenient truth. We appreciate all who have participated both prayerfully and financially. Pray for our radio outreach and against the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" that would shut down programs like "Understanding the Times." That effort by the current administration has been on hold while they focus on health care and the further socialization of America.

The good news is that we know the last chapter of the book -- the Bible. We know who wins. We have our "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13) which every believer can cling to. We know that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). We know our citizenship is not on earth but in Heaven. God has given each one of you an assignment for however many days, months, or years we have left before we reach the gates of Heaven. Since you are here on assignment, no Christian can say they are without a purpose, for God has one or more for you. Now is a very good time to figure out what it is and proceed with His marching orders.

We are in a war that will get hotter. One of the greatest contributions you can make to our turbulent times is to contend for the faith (Jude 3) no matter what it costs you.

As we exit another year and move into the new one, may Jesus, the "light of the world," make your pathway clear.

Messianic Prophecy in the Old Testament

Posted: 27 Dec 2009 08:04 AM PST

By Jack KelleyIn the time after their sin and expulsion from the Garden, Adam and Eve must have felt incredible despair. They had experienced life both before and after the curse, the only ones to do so, and had first hand knowledge of the difference. And what a difference it was. Even the part of it we can relate to had to have been devastating. For example suppose that one day you were the

God made a Covenant with Israel, NOT America. Jesus is Lord, and my Personal Savior. 'Heaven is my Home.'

Thankful for 2009.

Tom's Journal.

My Dad use to say: 'You can't have it both ways-- you can't complain about the heat in Summer and the cold in Winter.' Who wants a complainer or a whiner around all the time... sour grapes...LOL? Fall is my fav. season in Wisconsin, but I have lived in many places, as you all know.
I think that the warm weather makes my bones feel better, but there are no insects to bite me in the Winter time...LOL. And when people brag how great TX, CA and Florida are, I think about those great hurricanes that come and blow them away. I also remember that it wasn't that bad shoveling snow 20 years ago or cutting the grass, but it's a major effort now. Older people were honored and respected 30 years ago-- but now days they are put into a old age home and abused too often and neglected. Older people I used to know always had more money from working hard all their lives...BEFORE we became a "nanny-state."

This Christmas has been OK for my wife and I, and we are happy and content to have enough to keep us satisfied, warm and cozy. It also felt kind of strange NOT to have Main Street traffic non-stop. But I can't wait to read the papers right after New Years Day to see all the DUI's. I am glad to have matured enough to change my foolish ways, my days of wine and roses-- to be more moderate now days. The Chiropractor is helping me too,and I wonder just how much better he can adjust me.
I ought to attach a computer print out to show just how bad my spine is... LOL. But it could always be worse. PTL. A drunk driver in WI crossed the center line and struck an on coming car injuring the other driver paralyzed from the neck down! I broke my neck in 1997, C1 and C2 Anterior, but it healed and I am relatively OK now. But that accident took the 'wind out of my sails.' A pick up truck driven by an Islamic man ran a stop sign and whacked me good in 2001, fracturing 12 ribs by knocking me off my prised GoldWing motorcycle, and I felt that was a 'wake up call' that changed my life too.

My personal plans and considerations/ goals for this [traumatic] NEW YEAR are, To make sure that I try to reach as many new people with the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as my infirm body and mind are able. This IS the Lord's work for every real Christian, and watch LESS TV. I need to make more cabinets and home repairs when we can afford them and plant more tomatoes and cukes in the Victory Garden.

If anyone knows where I can buy more inexpensive Bibles to hand out for free-- please let me know. I know about the Gideon' s but I am not able to meet their monthly quota in dissemination goals/ expectations.
Prayers for my dear friends, Penny and Robb, in CA.

The roads up here are very slick/ slippery, so drive with care.

Warm Regards,
Tom and Sharon

Joel Speaks.

Tom's Journal.

I am really into Joel's prophecy, and it comes alive in full color for me. It's a very small book in the Bible but jam packed with action and excitement. Pure bible like this gives me the info I need to make educated opinions and clear mind sets, so that I can share them with friends and family. For me, this is so easy and rewarding to understand because we are convinced that this may happen VERY SOON!
And just think, the goof that America elected to sleep in the WH is trying hard to bust up and take away God's own commands/ orders and decrees that the Whole of Israel is to be taken, traded, sold off, divided-- and that goes against God's divine Plan! Woe unto those to try to hurt Israel and try to take away the God- given Land!

So when people pray and work for another [or the Republican party--and I voted for Bush twice...] group to 'take back' the Congress or Administration, there exist so many variations of possible American [and world] collapse.... total currency/ money meltdown, bankruptcy, another battle front, war, etc., or the ONE WORLD GOV'T/ UN take over. And given man's great, glorious assumptions, plans, prospects and dreams that always fail --- I will bet all my money and marbles on GOD'S PROMISES -- NOT man's! I just want to make the point and balance the equation that some people are sacrificing 100% of their time, effort and treasure on MAN'S DREAMS AND FALSE PROMISES. I have done that most of my life-- but now I see the light. Who has more power -- mankind or God?? Further more, there has been an accurate estimate, according to the "Safely Home" book --by Randy Alcorn, and many other Christian missionaries and specialists who work in hostile countries, that places like China have MORE underground Christians than 'above ground' in the USA and Europe COMBINED!! Are we so special and blessed by God at this time, after trying to force Israel to give up more "land for peace''? NO! How about our country / Gov't paying for abortion all over the world, secretly, and pushes the Gay agenda, which God forbids ? We have lost everything sacred and our Freedoms are almost gone. Hey! I fought for America and I still have the Freedom to express my biblical beliefs. Besides, obama is working on 'bypassing' Congress with his czars and his SC [Supreme Court] is handing over the real power to the EPA, etc, for 'Cap and Trade. So what good will a new Congress be then? I will continue my personal fight and vote my mind-- but I already know what the 'Hand Writing on the Wall' says. The real facts of prophecy are that Israel is pinched and pressed, deserted by EVERYONE in the world, that they MUST defend themselves and soon, from nuclear Iran, etc. One way or another God will protect them-- at last for now, until they embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, in the end. The prophet, Joel, proves that so magnificently, IMHO.

But I can tell you all now, for sure, that the majority of mankind simply WILL NOT believe nor trust in the scriptures! My own prideful will and arrogance needed to be broken, and then rebuilt so as to accept the true wisdom from above. And darn it, don't most of us learn these truths so late in life-- if ever?? But instead of beating ourselves that learning late -- give big thanks that we at least MADE IT, and are SAVED ! Hell is forever... and I bet the food isn't so great either.

Sharon and I made it to church this morning, and they gave her a goodies basket filled with treats, etc. They seem to be a warm cozy congregation who are very firm in pure Bible study and edification. I hope the new Chiropractor, Dr. Melby, does me some good on Monday-- I am counting on him...LOL.

Joel Speaks Again - Part 3 (Conclusion)

Posted: 20 Dec 2009 01:01 PM PST

By Jack Kelley. Having experienced an actual plague of locusts in Israel, which he described in chapter 1, Joel understood that the Lord was causing him to see it as a vision of the End Times leading up to the Day of the Lord. He began recording His description of this vision in chapter 2 bringing it to its conclusion in chapter 3, which is the topic of this study.“In those days and at that time,......
