Thank you, Lisa, for commenting on the "jerk" that tries to annoy me periodically. These jack asses with low IQ's just come with the territory and they are sick and depraved, with no real identity or traceable web site, only wanting some attention and notoriety... LOL. The Liberal Dims play the same game of trying to make it look like we Christian conservatives are racists, gun slingers, selfish, hateful people. Heck, we just want to work, save/ invest a few dollars, and take care of our families in peace and security-- but obama and the Dims want to take OUR hard earned money and give it to the illegal aliens and folks who refuse to work!! Ha! This crap gets old and the beat goes on. I FIRMLY believe that obama and the RINO's / traitors, are seriously trying their best to DESTROY America... and just wait for some kind of 'disaster' so they can use that as an excuse to steal more of our FREEDOMS. My wife, I, and ALL of my friends are firm believers and supporters of the U.S. Constitution, especially the 1st and 2nd Amendments. I took an Oath in the Army to defend the U.S. Constitution. It is my studied opinion and belief that guns will never save us from God's rightful wrath for unrepentant sinners who will not accept Christ, of course, or when/ if the Gov't decides to put Christians in prison... and I believe that is a distinct possibility in the near future.... and this is not meant to be a 'scare tactic', just an educated guess, and study of God's own Word, the Bible. God will take care of us one way or another-- and He even makes death a way out, but not suicide, IMHO. That last part may be a 'gray area' and I would like more biblical input from my readers if possible, please.

But I know that we do have the Right to defend ourselves and our families. In fact, cowards are not looked upon as good people in the Bible [see Rev. 21:8]. I believe that there is a BALANCE some where in between. Having been a hunter, only for food, most of my life on the farm and latter, and then a Soldier in combat- Vietnam: 68-70, I know that fire arm safety is very important-- and life is sacred. In Genesis chapter 9, right after the Flood in Noah's time, God first granted humans the right to eat meat. Ducks, Geese and rabbits just don't undress and jump into the cooking pot or frying pan, so man hunted, raised animals and farmed. I laugh at 'city slickers' who don't know that simple, basic fact of life. In Vietnam, Thailand, Africa, etc, the people eat rats and the rats eat the grains that the farmers plant.
I wish so-called 'educated' people in the USA would wake up and grow up-- and read their history books to learn what happens when Governments mess up and pass stupid laws that take away the People's Rights and Freedoms.

FOR THE RECORD: Per the Bible's teaching, I DO NOT HATE any human being-- but I hate the sins and dislike pure stupidity and people who take 'pride' in their total ignorance on purpose. America used to be a GREAT nation that has been hijacked by wolves in sheeps' clothing-- those who really want to destroy our nation-- 'home of the brave-- land of the free. I continue to fight against such evil people and traitors to this country-- but my strong biblical beliefs tell me that ONLY GOD CAN SAVE HUMANITY, but He promises to Judge all men and women soon.

Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Some people said that it took me a while to snap out of a so-called dyslexic reading challenge when I was a 2nd grader, but I took off like a rocket in 3rd grade and never looked back. My brother had a very bad time with reading. Both times when I had to take an entrance exam to attend college, my verbal aptitude went off the chart... Praise the Lord. I just hated Math but I had to know it for all my welding and carpentry jobs, etc. I guess that I probably read about 2-3 hours per day now until my eyes get too dry. To take my Federal Securities exam to sell quality Mutual Funds/ Investments, we almost had to be a speed reader. Now I have lost most faith and trust in investments that obama might steal and "spread my wealth" to illegal aliens and people who WON'T work... lol. I am a fast reader but most of the time I like to 'savor' good literature, Bible, books, and poems.

Weather in school or the Army or a must have job / occupation/ MOS, we are forced to study, learn and do the job correctly to pay our bills and support our families-- if we are biblical Christians. Some ghetto folks and Dims just can't handle that mind set it seems.

Have you all heard about a possible Bill in the Senate that may give authority to shut down the inter net to the Prez obama??? In my past blog posts I predicted that this might well happen! Knowing how to play chess-- one can fairly predict what an evil man will do next to seize more power and "confound" our fast communications so as to divide us and mess us up.

Keeping to my Mantra of reading the Word and keeping our eyes on the Lord, I also am very interested in learning more about the 'end times' prophecy [in the fine article below]. Using logic, insight and the bible, this is what COULD happen in the near future.... and when you resign yourself and put all your Faith and Trust in God's wisdom and mercy--- why would we even have fear or anxiety about what WILL come soon?? That's the way I see it.

I am really hoping for a nice, warm, sunny day so I can do some work out side and grill some more meat and veggies. So much for "global warming" with lower Wisconsin in the low 50's last night.... Ha!

I was lying down for a half hour this aft listening to the Christian WVCY -FM 107.7 Radio from Milwaukee and had something planted in my brain. If we are NOT attending a solid Bible teaching church [I don't care what faith/ flavor] maybe we should understand that many so-called 'Christian' churches have already sold out to the Gov't and the worldly Satanic 'One World/ One Religion' philosophy. The very subject makes me sad and nauseous but we have to be aware of this fact, ie: a few denominations have already moved to accept Gay preachers and abortion... duh! I believe in being prepared and planning for big events to come down the pike-- as fore told in the Bible. Would it not make sense to PLAN just like other persecuted countries that make it hard for real Christians to meet for worship and fellowship ?? If all the true biblical preachers/ pastors and deacons were suddenly rounded up by the authorities and taken to prison or internment camps, WHO would take over to lead the churches?? Some pastors never train a "2nd in command"-- wanting to 'micro-manage' the whole show by themselves. Many so-called lax pastors are not doing their jobs now... and the bible says, "strike the Shepard and the sheep will scatter."

The first century Christians met in private homes and other places until they had permission / freedom to build larger meeting places. Many were killed and martyed for their Faith in Jesus Christ. We in America have been very blessed so far-- but I need not tell you all what is happening now in the USA. Once the Gov't takes our guns-- they will do what ever they want! Why not plan NOW to start planning-- at least to start a family or two to have a Bible study and coffee once a week at our own house, perhaps just a Bible reading and small discussion. I am NOT ADVOCATING STARTING OUR OWN CHURCH OR RELIGION. we are doing something now at our church, RBC, on Sunday mornings led by a competant pastor, named Wayne B., and it works for us, but I have in the past conducted many bible studies with others, my own family and small groups. No body killed me yet... LOL. Remember, once something like this happens in the U.S., it may be too late. Just my personal opinion. And if you are not studying the Bible and praying your head off on a regular basis--- you are losing out on something really great and special. A Soldier of the Lord keeps training and ready ALL THE TIME, for Satan is a wiley and powerful foe.

By the way, sometimes one or more of my regular readers doesn't care for my comments or bible based opinions and they leave or ask me to dump them from my email list, and I say great-- poof, you're gone! I am not looking for 'fair weather Christians' or cowards and lossers taking the path of lest resistance. Being a Christian is hard and dangerous! Few will make it to heaven-- but all those who confess and pledge their allegience to the King and Lord Jesus Christ can COUNT on being Saved and in heaven!! It sounds simple but it's true and beautiful how Jesus forgives ALL our sins. It doesn't matter how wicked and sinful we once WERE, but what we choose to do with our future and HOW we bow to---humans or the true Lord of the Bible. I make mistakes in my thinking and Blog sometimes and I have stood corrected by my peers and eaten humble pie. I think that is good for my character.

Good Day from super rainy Wisconsin!
My wife is aching and in bed after stay up all night long-- as usual. Her hip wants to fall out and make her fall, so I said, 'take some medicine and herbs and just sleep and take the day off.' The Bible is so 'cool' in giving us practical advice, ie: Eccl. 'Two are better than one, as one mate keeps the other warm when they lie down...' We take turns depending on each other for help and assistance, love and warmth.

Sharon bought some more dog food yesterday, for a 45 pound bad--about $50 !! But the dog has to eat and drink too, of course. I just will never buy dog food from China...poison, sorry. We have made our own dog food out of hamburger meat and rice put together in meaty rice balls, and Deuce gobbled them up with delight. I, personally, see that packages of meat, beef, especially are getting smaller in the stores, but for the same price as before, and we love veggies and fruit, but those commodities won't be spared ether. EXPECT prices to get worse in this 'man-made, artificial' obama-controlled economy ! Get used to it and don't worry-- things will get much worse. But be joyful in the knowledge that we will survive by the Grace of God Almighty, or be taken up in Rapture or glorious martyrdom. The rest of the world are 'blind mice' running around scared and grasping at straws.

The Muslims have an outlandish hope of going to "their heaven" to enjoy 70 virgins... lol. But what about those VIRGINS? What do they believe happens to women and how are they treated now?? As a matter of record and history, women of Christian cultures have usually had it better than their counter part in heathen cultures/ nations. Picture Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi in a Berka! I would like to know the truth about women of Islam to get the proper prospective. I am open minded and just want to know the truth--- but I doubt that I will get it now days. EXPECT Christians to be persecuted in the U.S.A. Many/ Most will cave in and follow the Great Dragon, Satan, to survive and take the path of least resistance. Relatively few in comparison will take the cramped and narrow road that leads to everlasting life in Heaven that the Bible speaks of. But it's always been that way on earth, because most people are selfish, weak and wicked.

Our American economy is being weakened, plowed under ON PURPOSE by obama and the Dims, but the RINO's are guilty too. I didn't want to believe that until I had to face the truth and learn from intense study and programs like Glenn Beck, etc, lately. Evil people want him dead and off the air waves of TV and Radio, and it might happen sooner than latter, and he knows it well. He will die a 'national martyr' but I hope and pray that he accepts the Lord Jesus Christ too.... what a brave man, and Rush Limbaugh too! I have always thought, 'what a terrible pity and loss that some 'nice, great, sincere, honest people' might not grasp and accept Jesus before they die !' But God knows the true content of the heart, not we humans or limited sight and understanding. We can only see peoples' actions and words.

I don't sit on a log or my EZ chair just waiting for God to save me--- because God gives us the "tools" to prepare and plan [to some extent] for emergencies and disasters. If we give up things that we really don't need, perhaps we will have the funds to buy a few flash lights, batteries, food, basics, silver, etc., for the coming bad times. My nose, IMHO, should be in the Bible for at least an hour or so each day, but I also have to walk in the garden to pick the tomatoes, cukes, and zucchinis, etc so we can eat them....duh.
Well, it's time that I beat myself to get up and do the chores. That is my job as a married man.

From late news on TV I heard that Sen. Teddy Kennedy has just died in the wee hours of the Wednesday morning. I know it's the normal thing in America to praise a "great" lion of a man like him with a 3 week funeral, etc., but for the absolute truth be know, that man was a far Left Liberal who was Pro-ABORTION, anti- gun, Pro-Gay, Pro- illegal alien and many other kinds of stuff/ ilk. I will leave the rest of my opinions go right now, out of respect for the dead.... but I believe that without a man's confessing his sins before God and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR, and trying to imitate Christ--- the place called hell still has lots of room in it. If we lived in a land with a wicked king who raped and plundered his people-- and he suddenly died, would we weep or celebrate? Sen. Kennedy did some good work to help out the common man, built and signed many good legislation, and set an example of how WE ALL SHOULD GET THE SAME KIND OF ELITE MEDICAL TREATMENT THAT [TOO BAD] WE ALL SHOULD BE GETTING! Hurry Up and Die, Already!

Little wonder so many folks are showing up at health care protests, expressing anxiety over socialized medicine, health care rationing and "death panels". Writing in The Wall Street Journal, Jim Towey describes the Obama administration's ham-handed attempts to cut costs at the Veterans' Administration.

Last year, bureaucrats at the VA's National Center for Ethics in Health Care advocated a 52-page end-of-life planning document, "Your Life, Your Choices." It was first published in 1997 and later promoted as the VA's preferred living will throughout its vast network of hospitals and nursing homes. After the Bush White House took a look at how this document was treating complex health and moral issues, the VA suspended its use. Unfortunately, under President Obama, the VA has now resuscitated "Your Life, Your Choices."

Who is the primary author of this workbook? Dr. Robert Pearlman, chief of ethics evaluation for the center, a man who in 1996 advocated for physician-assisted suicide in Vacco v. Quill before the U.S. Supreme Court and is known for his support of health-care rationing.

"Your Life, Your Choices" presents end-of-life choices in a way aimed at steering users toward predetermined conclusions, much like a political "push poll." For example, a worksheet on page 21 lists various scenarios and asks users to then decide whether their own life would be "not worth living."

The circumstances listed include ones common among the elderly and disabled: living in a nursing home, being in a wheelchair and not being able to "shake the blues." There is a section which provocatively asks, "Have you ever heard anyone say, 'If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug'?" Unlike the VA's document, it contains no bias either for or against end-of-life medical care. Consumer Reports describes Five Wishes as a "well conceived" document and an NCI-NIH study praised its use as a living will.

Those who ridicule the notion of "death panels" need ask themselves only one question: if I am in that situation, which document would I prefer? Follow-up question: which document should be used by our veterans?

I am so happy to have a good handful of serious ties-- friends and fellow Christians to bond to, all over the world, and also many combat Veterans as friends too [of course]. The above is a super fine true story of an Australian Vietnam Vet's diary/ journal, who was in the same approx. war zone 'in-country' area [North of Bien Hoa] as I was in 1968. There was small and large battles going on all the time, everyday over there in that 'tropical paradise'.. lol, many not published or told to the "civilians" back home. Many combat Vets just won't talk about that experience and I respect them. Others find that they are still trying to put the pieces together and make sense of it. Go figure, the MASH movie where the doctors and nurses gained 10 tons of serious experience in combat in just ONE year! Same with the combat Veterans, my dear past father who fought in Saipan-- WW-2- Navy, and all his 5 brothers, my uncles, who served in the Army] too.

It stands to reason that [IMHO] combat Veterans make good Soldiers of Christ too! but now we have a different fight/ battle: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6: 10-12, by the Apostle Paul. I bought a few bronze and silver 'challenge coins' with this scripture engraved on one side --and with an armed ancient soldier on the other side. I found that it's a good 'witnessing tool.' But just think about this scripture for a moment, please. It ALMOST sounds like the man in the WH... lol ! But it really represents Satan and his agents in the invisible world-- standing behind most every throne/ chair of high Gov't figures, etc, world wide.

For sure, the heavens AND the earth must be cleaned COMPLETELY before he NEW heavens and NEW earth can be made!! And this is exactly what we Christians pray for at MATHEW 6:9, the "Lord's Prayer" -- 'Let your Kingdom come.' Think of it. When at last God's Kingdom {Gov't} comes, there will be total peace and security-- NOT from the hands of mere humans, Governments, political parties, or the United Nations-- but from the God of the Bible!
We pray that the Gov't "leaders" will let us keep our Freedoms of Speech, to worship God and obey Jesus Christ, etc. BUT IF THEY TRY TO PREVENT US FROM WORSHIPING AND SERVING/ OBEYING OUR CHOSEN LORD, JESUS CHRIST, we MUST obey God rather than men--- to the death, if necessary! Period. All biblical, studied Christians will tell you that they truly expect this to happen-- and sooner than latter.

Watching the news and reading the truth, it is strongly apparent that OUR Gov't and the rest of the world are indeed forcing US to move to a "One world gov't, and a One world religion." Impossible? Ha! Look what has happened already in the USA! And the President cannot do ANYTHING without the Congress' approval, OK.. so go figure. By the 2010 elections, it will be way too late... the damage will be too great and we will be SOL. Personally, I look for a BIG "change" in the next 6 to 12 months.
The battle lines are already drawn. Where do YOU stand?? Are we to be men or mice? Brave solid Christian Soldiers and well trained from reading/ knowing the Bible well --- or dumb, ignorant, lazy cattle waiting to be slaughtered by the Devil ? Have you heard this message more than once? When God puts His big old sledge hammer down-- you won't have any more chances. The bible states that the majority will perish-- but Christians still have to do their duty/ work for the Lord by preaching/ sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Muslims and other faiths are ready to die for their pagan beliefs, and are well protected by our OWN Gov''t --- and I chose to serve the loving but Just God of all things, and His Son, Jesus Christ, even if it means my death tonight! I am a Soldier.

The Doobie Brothers- What a Fool Believes (live...

I believe I had a 'controlled blowout' with a female at the Milwaukee VA Pharmacy this morning as I called them today to order more meds-- a monthly thing, SOP [standard operating procedure]. I got my congressman on them a few times and they gave him their standard tail-chasing song and dance act until he pulled back. Just pure BS [berry sap]. And this is the kind of obama-care YOU ALL will be getting soon enough! I would love to see the 'congress and senate' get the same care that we will get... lol. The female VA player told me that 'I had an attitude'. .. Ha! And then she hung up on me. The supervisor there always stands up and lies for his assistants... good old boys routine. You can spin your wheels and have a coronary but seldom get justice or redress, and all they get is a slap on the wrist.

But anyway, I got a great phone call from a buddy named Kevin, a fellow bible student, for 30 minutes, and I thought I would try to tie a few things together tonight for my mind and yours.
I have [am blessed with] MANY great friends, most of them Christian, and we agree on more than we don't. A few points I want to bring out is that, my recent understandings and 'revelations', I hope and pray are all biblical, but there is that general consensus that all true bible students agree on the 'BIG, MORE IMPORTANT THINGS LIKE SALVATION, ETC. Those things are, of course, black and white. Example: If indeed the Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONLY One who can set things on earth right and NO human or group/ political party/ organization can.... why are some of us trying so hard to perpetuate this wicked system of Satan's ?? Why polish the brass on a sinking ship? Can't we admit that BOTH parties in America and even globally are man made and imperfect and not generally speaking not biblical, nor do they serve God Almighty? It took me a while to figure this out too. OK, we are to pray for the 'superior authorities' to be benevolent, just, and allow us the FREEDOM to practice our Christian Faith without fear or persecution, but we MUST take the stand that being a Christian [that means a follower or imitator of Christ...] may mean our losing everything including our very lives rather than compromise as the "world" wants to do. The words of the bible/ God are REAL and He doesn't change His ways! In a way, I am glad because this separates the 'men from the boys.'

EVERYTHING IS FALLING RIGHT INTO PROPHETIC PLACE, right in front of our bible trained eyes! Churches are caving in to accept things that are detestable to GOD, one after the other! For abortion alone, God has the right to snuff us all out yesterday. Yet, people are bible illiterate [and in the USA-- ENGLISH ILLITERATE... LOL] , stupid, selfish and greedy who think drugs, laziness, sloth, dishonesty are the NORM. God even says that He is JUST and He MUST destroy the wicked 'UN-believers' [sic] in the world for the sake of His servants/ followers. Does it look like the majority of people in the USA are followers of Christ? If that we so, we might have voted a real Christian into office, or at the very least some one who stands to PROTECT our Christian based CONSTITUTION-- and that would mean we had just a a little more time to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead, now we are in dire fear that we could lose all of our freedoms including the divine RIGHT to practice our Christian Faith, in the Last place left in the world. Oh, BTW, Christians are NOT to be COWARDS either [see Rev. 21:8]. As it is now, Christians are persecuted more than anyone else in the USA! Ask yourself one question: How did you vote, and how does YOUR church or Faith feel about everything I just said??

Won't it be cool to be safe in the proverbial Ark of God all sealed up-- and than it starts to rain ? We will have to look out the window and watch others drowning, relatives and friends who just would not believe and accept Jesus as their personal Savior. Did we do our level best to help them draw near to God in these last days? Or were we too afraid of what they might think of us. Do we have the fortitude to comment on Christian based Blogs/ Journals and leave our REAL name and email address, to stand up and support our brothers and sisters who actually put their heads on the block as they WITNESS about the "Truth that will set men free??"

insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all-volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing
the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader? I didn't vote for him!!!

I am posting the following information ONLY to make you aware of what we are up against and not just the illegal alien problem. I always thought that it is smart to make a plan, Sam. Be prepared, Christian brothers and sisters, if the 'lights go out in Georgia' and have some contingency plan worked out on HOW our close email friends, churches, groups will be able to continue our rich relationships IF/ WHEN the Gov't and their 'caved in' cowardly, godless cronies, ACORN, goofy Czars push us into a corner and ban us from the Web/ PC/ EMAIL communications. I, personally, get much good feeling, encouragement and inspiration from my friends and acquaintances.

This is precisely why I continue to remind people to get as close to the Lord and the Bible as possible NOW! Call me paranoid or delusional, but I am a serious student of the Bible and History, and I CAN read the 'handwriting on the wall.' The USA and Europe are only a half step ahead of us and there is a good possibility that we as a nation could follow the path that leads to One World Gov't/ One World Religion. Well, I know that it will happen according to the Good Book anyway... That is not only Obama's fondest desire but many powerful entities working in the background controlling things, including the RINO's!! Make no mistake that Satan is so very powerful and the "god of this world" who is misleading the majority of the world, and I don't expect many in comparison to be Saved. I have to heed my own warnings. We stay strong by constantly reading, meditating, prayer and associating with brothers of like Faith. Did we personally find the Lord the first time we heard the Gospel? Yes, I will continue the witness work commissioned by the Lord Himself until He says to stop, or we die, but I think that we ought to PREPARE now, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and focus on the Word. If anyone has more serious suggestions or ideas, please feel free to email me or comment. Some close friends actually SNAIL MAIL ME! That is a lost art.

The Nazi movement in the 1930's started out small in taking away the German people's freedoms, and once they took away the people's firearms-- there was nothing they could do after that! If poor old Tom can see these things happening and history repeating itself-- surely others can too.

Things are going well for my wife and I today, but I know that she will feel much better when the weather gets cooler and less humid. She is going to bake more zucchini bread in the morning.

I have been to a couple of Lutheran churches in my life and enjoyed/ respected their biblical views on the sanctity of LIFE and their love for the Bible. And to be fair, it seems like the Southern Baptists are disappearing from the Southern 'Bible Belt' too. The Bible and smart,serious Bible scholars have said, 'in the last days there would be a great falling away from the pure Truth of the Bible.' 2 Timothy 3:1-9...
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankfull, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, dispisers of those who are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, LOVERS OF PLEASURES MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

I went to the store today and to Menard's to buy some more gravel for the mud holes in my driveway, so after I got down spreading it our I was all totaled out and breathless. So as I was trying to catch my breath my wife called me on my cell phone in the back yard to tell me that she needed some more eggs. I had to just hang up to catch my breath for a few minutes and then talk to her latter. Now I have to resharpen my knife after cutting open those 8 bags of marble and River Stones. My knife is a TOOL, not a weapon. I feel better now and I will relax with a cold beverage. I am a morning person and always worked hard early to rest in the afternoon and spend time with my dear wife.

Delegates of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, meeting in Minneapolis, approved a "social statement on human sexuality" that acknowledges differing views on homosexuality. It says the ELCA is strong enough to accommodate such differences.

Shortly before the vote, strong winds toppled trees outside the convention center and damaged the steeple of a Lutheran church next door, prompting a speaker at the convention to quip, "We trust that the weather is not a commentary on our work."

Wednesday's vote was a prelude to votes scheduled Friday on whether to let people in same-sex relationships serve as Lutheran ministers. (See earlier article)

I remember the "good old days" that were pretty much care free with dreams of grandeur in High School.
I was not and still AM NOT a 'fear- monger' or 'chicken little.' But I did learn a few things the hard way in taking a chance/ gamble, trying something new or been unprepared for a 'storm.' Men don't like 'surprises' or getting caught with their pants down! We need our own cave, a bear skin and a good spear... lol. Even John the Baptist lived a rugged, very basic life as he served God-- but the Lord took care of him. But we are actually far ahead of the game in 2009, August, because we have the whole, complete BIBLE ! Love it-- or hate it, like Obama, his henchmen, and the ACLU, -----"For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12. The Bible or thoughts of it probably burn and shear their flesh! Why else would they want to destroy it, jailed Christians for just praying in Jesus' name and take it off all public buildings, etc. Yes... love it or hate it--- the BIBLE holds the true KEYS of understanding the past, present and FUTURE -- yet God prevents the proud and wicked to "see" the Truth within [1st Cor. 3:19] ... "for the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God." I know that it seems strange, paradoxically, that serious, true Christian KNOW AND UNDERSTAND what terrors are to come shortly [Luke 21:26] -- yet they are so filled with JOY, HAPPINESS, LOVE in spite of everything toppling down right now!!

I just got a letter from Sears today saying that they are changing the rules and contract across the board so that now there will be a 24% + interest CHARGE for that charge card!! I have good credit and pay my bill ON TIME-- ALL THE TIME! Yes, the Credit Card bubble has burst now too-- but this is only the tip of the ice burg. And I say, buy a few extra bags of sugar...so your wife can make the cookies for Christmas... lol. God will protect HIS servants/ followers, but the picnic baskets might only contain baloney sandwiches and onions.
If we indeed claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, would we not want to share this TREASURE of God's Word with others/ everyone with a hearing ear?? That is what I am doing right now-- and every time I step out of the back door, where ever I go-- as much as my crippled body will endure. Who knows when the Lord will visit us or take us up to Paradise?
And one of these days when you don't see my post anymore-- it might be because the God of the BIBLE has come back to take care of this old Soldier-- I pray.

One of the many practical things that Soldiers learn in AIT [Advanced Individual Training] after Basic Training, is the Phonetic Alphabet [below]. When just ONE wrong command or misunderstanding of the Order will get many innocent "friendlies" killed.... The Army 'bridges' all racial, regional, dialectal, language barriers with this method.

I was just feeling very thankful this rainy, cloudy morning that the Lord has allowed me to enjoy a relative financially comfortable, retired, freedom in America. Things could have been much different if I had lost a limb or worse in combat- Vietnam, or one of the many nasty accidents in my life time. I honestly feel that it's a miracle I am still alive at age 60! Some things that saved me were a strong, muscular, trained body, experience, co-ordination, etc --- but mostly God's Grace and Will that I be SAVED for some other purpose in service to Him. Although we can never pay God back or buy our way into heaven, we can "store up our treasures in Heaven" by kindnesses, services to God, obedience and support of the true Church, IMHO.

Just like on the farm in WI, when my Dad got home from hard, sweaty work in Milwaukee as a crane operator-- he would demand from us if we got all our chores done, or what did we do that day constructively? He figured if he had to go to work every day, sick or well-- we should do the same. That's called: Instilling a 'hard work ethic' in us. Jesus had to learn carpentry, Peter was a fisherman, Luke was a physician, etc. We cannot all be rich and we are admonished to be the best we can be--- no matter what circumstances we were born in or are in. Satan's world would have us depressed, feeling like a total failure if we cannot reach some "media/ or Hollywood driven pinnacle of success." Let's get REAL!! Heaven will be a few million times better than ANYTHING we could hope for in our short 70-80 years on earth!! Life is a vapor!

My wife has such a hard time breathing even on Oxygen inside our A/C house when the weather has a 'bad air quality index.' I was just thinking how many poor inner city old folks/ and 3rd world countries people are dying right now for lack of clean cool air. But some of them choose to live that way who gamble, drink, smoke themselves to death --- or have 'obama- type- Gov't's' that destroy the Middle Class.

And then they demand MY [our] tax money for a 'bail out'... I feel lazy today but I have to fix a window in my truck bed cap to keep the rain out. If I only had a helper to trace the window on paper or wood. It's supposed to rain all week up here in WI, but FL will get some rain too.

The man who delivers our oxygen just called and is coming over in half an hour, PTL, and we need to get going now. Just think, we are probably too old, to get oxygen with 'Obama-care' even though we PAIN INTO THE SYSTEM BIG BUCKS ALL OUR LIVES WITH HARD WORK... lol.
All I want is to get every dollar I was forced to PUT IN back before I kick off! But instead, obama wants to give our tax dollars to illegal aliens who NEVER PUT INTO THE POT! That stinks! I realize that most everyone has their hand out, but our combat Veterans should come first as far as support, care and well being.
