Hi Friends,
Below is another juicy serving of the real nitty gritty--- Reality of the Now. I am happy to share such things with you all, and figure if it strengthens me, it may also help you. My wife went with a bunch of ladies from church to a ladies camp out/ spiritual, Bible seminar for the week end, and back again tomorrow. I am sure t hat she will have much to share with me. Men in our area having a similar fishing excursion later in the Summer. I know that I will be doing some fishing this Spring, but my disabilities dictate how much I can do, and travel.
It looks like I will have to 'recharge' -- buy more Bible Tracts to disseminate to all who cross my path, and had a chance to give one out today to a nice, older gentleman who helped me navigate my way back to my truck on slippery ice, after attending a Sportsman show U.P. North, Chrystal Falls, MI. It's amazing how I can use my "tools" of command to reach a number of able bodied men to help me lift my power scooter up a flight of steps so I could view the show, and see a lot of nice things and people !! When I wear my "Colors" vest, people automatically 'know' who I am and give me right or way, kindness and courtesy. But in the din of a 'Market Place' I have to constantly ask people to speak LOUDER ! smile. They just can't seem to understand that I led a full life in noisy places, work and play. I even tell them that I am DEAF, BUT IT STILL DOESN'T WORK ! I am happy that I could get some great deals in something that I've been looking for a long time... but when you boil it down -- it's all a pile of trash, when we read the words of Paul. In Philippians 3:7, "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." It's a very short book of 4 chapters, but packed with spiritual power and enlightenment !! Paul also wrote in Philippians 1: 21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." I have that scripture carved into Walnut wood, and mounted on the back of my power scooter, which is a natural, instant Witness to all others around me, and have had many nice compliments on it at stores, etc. THINK! It's just another way to WITNESS about our Faith in Jesus Christ, and our reasonable HOPE for the Future !! I am no better, or worse than anyone who reads my humble Blog: TOM'S JOURNAL, but I know how to share my Faith with others, after many years of testing different things, ways, for the past 65 years. Hey! We older folks feel a closeness to eternity, having seen so much living... and death, and seeing the Bible come true for a long time.
Oh, how the times and seasons are growing so cold and violent in the year 2014, with no leadership or positive direction in sight !! And I also feel sorry for all the dumbed down, ignorant, 'Bible-starved' people out in the world, or chasing some illusion or lie of the devil !! People first have to admit that they cannot fix things on their own-- but trust in the divine power of Father God, and the KJV Bible ! In most cases, that is the opposite of what they've been taught all their lives --- just a load of baloney! But we believe that Father God has a "Number" of Gentiles that he wants and will Save, before He unleashes the 'dogs of hell' and a whirlwind of storms, finally. We are in that short period of time right now!
The sad point is: Even many so-called 'Christians' are being misled at this critical time, and it will get worse ! The only discernible life line, is the KJV Bible !! All else is just trash, and as the apostle Paul says, DUNG ! So... just what on earth could be more important than sharing in the preaching work, and gaining someone that God loves enough to Save them, and now ?? Join in the Victory. Just email and ask me how. Or check out the fine article below. Smile!
Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman
