This Messed Up World.

Hi Friends, and Fellow Christians,
      I thought I was thru posting today until I read, "THE DAILY JOT" --- by Bill Wilson.
      Sometimes I get involved with commenting in various web sites and discussions, and I find that some folks are 'SUPER PATRIOTIC.'   Well, I consider myself a Patriot too, after all, being a Disabled Combat Veteran -- Vietnam: 68-70, etc., and that at least GIVES ME THE RIGHT AND FREEDOM to say what I want, in the good old USA, no more -- no less !
     Remember that I am a History buff and also a serious student of the KJV Bible, and I know that our ancient ancestors migrated quite a bit, going from bad, dry, land to more fertile land to grow their crops and grains, etc. No big deal there.   I also got involved with an Ethnicity web site to investigate my heritage and was surprised to find out [according to them] that my DNA put me in the British Isles, Scandinavia and Western Europe --Germany.    Wow! No wonder I am a wild ass ... LOL !   But, the power of the Holy Spirit, thankfully, has changed much of my personality, even as I am a "work in progress" and the Lord certainly is not done smoothing out/ off the rough spots.   But, my fellow Christians:   Isn't it a miracle and wonderful thing how God sacrificed His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that ALL OF OUR SINS could be forgiven, and going to heaven is more than just a "Maybe" or an illusive dream. It's a firm God-breathed reality, and we Christians are charged with the dual responsibility of:   Worshiping God the Father, and also sharing the Good News of Salvation thru Jesus Christ ! !   So..... We are Christians FIRST, and Americans second. Period.
        Go figure that all the Christians in 'under ground China' number more than Europe and the USA, combined !   We are no better and no worse than them... they are our brothers in Christ!     They in China are praying for US !   Too, I am hurt, upset and dismayed that my ancestral home of Germany has reverted back into a commercial, Heathen - Pagan, country, as they too persecute true Christians, but allow the savage Islamic hordes invade THEIR native country of Germany !   Hey! They are only asking for big trouble there, and I thought they were so smart and advanced, but they are Socialist !     Really, folks, God doesn't look at humans being so different --- but what's in their minds and hearts, and IF THEY ACCEPT HIS SON as their Savior....    I spent 6 months in Germany and got to learn their culture and studied the language [and still am].   They are a beautiful race of humans, but what good is it if they don't bend knee to Christ ?   But it's the same old thing here in the U.S. with 8 good, Christian black leaders and teachers of the bible being gunned down by a goofy, racist white guy in a historic mid-Atlantic church a few months ago. What a loss of good lives... and if they indeed were TRUE CHRISTIANS -- they were my brothers, also up in Heaven now.

This messed up world

Wow. The headlines this morning. "Jihadis generate $500 million from oil as US-led air strikes miss target," "Man dresses as priest, performs sex act at church altar," "China military ready for USA encounter--space-based weapons," "Asylum seekers sue Germany for not paying them benefits fast enough," "Parents outraged after schoolchildren asked to make beds, cook for migrants," "Refugees taunt police by posting pictures of stolon goods," "New California law helps illegals with drug convictions to stay," "314 criminal aliens arrested in Florida for murder, child sex crimes," "Iran broadcasts footage of underground missile base," and there are many, many more. Wow, what a messed up world.

I was watching the Western Channel as I often do to escape from reality and as a reminder of what once was. An episode of Gunsmoke had Doc being called out to a farm to treat the sick cow of a farmer who hated doctors. While he was there, a woman in town bled to death after falling through the window. The farmer refused to pay Doc because the cow might die and because doctors "don't know anything." Doc punched the farmer. The farmer stabbed Doc. Matt Dillon had to sew Doc up before he bled to death. Later, as Doc recovered, the farmer became gravely ill and his young son came to get Doc. Doc, although not healthy enough to travel, went to save the farmer's life even though the farmer had tried to kill him.

Why? "Because I'm a doctor and there is a life that needs to be saved. And I might be able to do it," he replied. So Matt loaded Doc in the buckboard and they went out to the farm. Doc was successful. The farmer lived. But he still refused to pay Doc because the cow had died. The farmer's wife, however, told Doc that she was forever grateful for his good will despite her husband's refusal to thank him or pay him. Doc and Matt looked at each other and Matt said, "I think you just got paid." Doc smiled and nodded his head in agreement and the two walked out. This is an example of American exceptionalism. It is an example of how we as a people once thought and acted in times of adversity and injustice.

We didn't cry to the government that we were being treated unfairly. We didn't run to the law every time something went wrong. We didn't deny others decency even when they were ignorant or indecent to us. We knew what it was to be a Christian first, an American second, and to stand for what was just and right. We were taught to live by Jesus' words in Matthew 7:12, "Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Translated: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The Golden Rule. It was the root of American society. We can see what happens to a world when that root bears fewer branches. The world becomes messed up.

How Obama Ushered in the New Age of Christian Martyrdom

(GATESTONE INSTITUTE)—Everywhere that U.S. leadership helped Islamic jihadis topple secular autocrats in the name of "democracy and freedom," indigenous Christian minorities are forced either to convert to Islam or die.
Many are accepting death.
Most recently, on August 28 near Aleppo, the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) tortured, mutilated, publicly raped, beheaded and crucified 12 Christians for saying they "would never renounce Christ" for Muhammad.
The jihadis took one group in front of a large crowd. They cut off the fingertips of a 12-year-old boy, who steadfastly refused to submit to Islam. They "severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam." He refused, so they "also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion."
According to a Christian leader associated with the martyrs, "They were left on their crosses for two days. No one was allowed to remove them." A sign saying "INFIDELS" was placed next to their crosses.
The other eight Christians, including two women, aged 29 and 33, were also ordered to renounce Christ and embrace Islam before a large crowd. When they refused,

"The Islamic extremists then publicly raped the women, who continued to pray during the ordeal, leading the ISIS militants to beat them all the more furiously.
"As the two women and the six men knelt before they were beheaded, they were all praying.
"'Villagers said some were praying in the name of Jesus, others said some were praying the Lord's prayer, and others said some of them lifted their heads to commend their spirits to Jesus,' the ministry director said. "One of the women looked up and seemed to be almost smiling as she said, 'Jesus!'"
"After they were beheaded, their bodies were hung on crosses, the ministry director said."

The same is happening in the two other Arab nations where the U.S., under the pretext of "freedom and democracy," overthrew the secular dictators who had long kept a lid on the jihadis: Libya and Iraq.
Late last year, Andrew White, an Anglican priest known as the "Vicar of Baghdad," recounted the horrific atrocities against Christians in Iraq—including seeing their children chopped in half for refusing to embrace Islam:

"ISIS turned up and they said to the [Christian] children, 'You say the words [shehada, convert to Islam], that you will follow Muhammad.' And the children, all under 15, four of them, they said, 'No, we love Jesus [Yesua]. We have always loved Jesus. We have always followed Jesus. Jesus has always been with us." They [ISIS] said, 'Say the words!' They [children] said, 'No, we can't.' [White starts sobbing] They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry. They are my children. That is what we have been going through. That is what we are going through."
