Hi Friends,
I am not a pessimist, but a "realist." Also, bible prophecy comes into the play, and "God cannot lie." ---Titus 1: 2. All my many friends and fellow Believers, bible smart good rational, level headed people all agree that the 'signs' and prophesy are all coming true now, right before our eyes, and that also gives us great hope and clarity. PTL [Praise the Lord !] We try to legally change the world from a wicked Satan rules/ controlled place, into a better place with people who love God and want to do His will... but we know that things must get worse and just play themselves out until the Lord comes back to "clean things up," once and for all. That is our honest, legitimate hope that keeps us going, besides the resurrection promise. That is why real Christians can die with a smile. Real hope.
Perhaps I should never set this in print, but I have gone thru some major struggles in the past few years U.P. here in this frozen tundra, in conflict, etc., and now I am a lonely old guy, soon seeking a much better relationship with some lady who will have me, in the future, after all the dust settles. I might relocate soon, but as of now, I just do not know. I depend on my Lord to steer me in the right direction and pray fervently every single night before I drift off to sleep. Yes, I DEPEND on my Lord to keep me sane, somewhat healthy, stable and in a positive mind set. There are places in the heart that weep for my circumstance right now, and I do much better in a stable, monogamous, friendly, marriage/ LTR. For and to that end, I ask that all my friends and followers pray for me, please. MANY GOOD PEOPLE ALREAY PRAY FOR ME ON A REGULAR BASIS. I guess I need to just be more active, and with the warmer weather, that is just what I plan to do. But 'things are now happening in my life,' as I am meeting other new people, and one way or another, I will probably relocate and maybe visit my dear old Mom who suffers from Alzheimer's disease in her mid-80's, down in Burlington, WI. I used to work at Nestle Company there when I first got home from Vietnam in 1970, making chocolate. Good stuff !! But I was young and wild, trying to settle down to civilian life after being caught up in a whirl wind of super active adventure flying in helicopters every single day, 7 days a week for a whole year, in my 2nd tour in Vietnam. Wow! I still stay in contact with my "Brothers in Arms" -- and care for them a lot. I have been to the Wall in D.C. about 4 times and loved it.
OK, that's it for today, friends. Have a great Spring day, even if it's cloudy again.
Warm Regards,
Tommy Schuckman
Here is picture of a nice RN gentleman at the Milwaukee VAMC Hospital, years ago, sticking long needles in my knees to help take the pain away. I now have two bionic, steel, knees. Super hard work all my life and arthritis made my knees to hurtful... but now they are much better.
