Good Day, Friends,
I know that there are so many 'charities' begging for your money all the time, but the one down below on this page has a great Christian Ministry that help make clean, potable drinking water available to many thirsty people in parts of Africa, and I really think/ believe that is a worthy cause. I am thirsty a lot, but more so in the Summer time, where I live, which is hot and humid, IMHO. I have, of course, donated some money to this worthy cause, too.
And we all have to admit in our present 'climate' of Gov't intrusion and almost unlimited power, that the author of this : News Letter: "The Daily Jot", has a super brave heart !! I believe that the Holy Spirit gives ME the inner strength to repost and share the Daily Jot, from time to time, where angels fear to tread. Many would say to me: 'Tom, just don't make waves, and stay out of trouble.' But maybe God picked me because of my boyish goofiness and spirit of adventure, flying too close to the flame, like a moth.... I wonder... I keep telling myself that I ought to back off and leave all the guts and glory for the younger guys and gals.... Ha! In this world more and more men are allowing themselves to be "castrated" --- at least in spirit ! But Father God doesn't want cowards in His Saints and followers ! Brothers and Sisters, let us not think or ponder about the worst possible mode of death, but learn to 'TRUST IN THE LORD' and the Holy Spirit, for our strength. It took me so many years to just figure that out, too. I know... somethings came easy for me, and some things took years of begging the Father to attain. Like, "Balance" Like, "True biblical Wisdom, Peace, joy, love, self control !!" I was weeping today, too, while eating 35 hot, toasted peppers, at my fav. Mexican eating place in Iron Mtn., MI. I think that I have found my limit, finally, and actually 20 hot peppers should be just right.
I starved myself most of the week end, but bought some good, choice meat today at the store. Dang! The food is getting higher every day U.P. here ! Now I know why most folks shop at WalMart, these days.... but I don't care for their grade of meat, sorry. Right now, I think we all should stock up on toilet paper. And I also think it would be wise to get a large metal tub for washing clothes, and laundry soap. Home Depot or the Tractor Store should have those items. If there is no electricity, we will be S.O.L. And make more ice cubes.
And hello to all the German, Irish, English and Russian people that also read my humble blog, in other countries ! I can see what people in those countries plug into my blog posts. They must love freedom and liberty too, but more importantly, they love the Father and the Son. Smile !
Too hot to write any more today.
Warm Regards,
Tommy
