Hi Friends,
The 2 pix above... the first is/ was one of our 240th AHC Aviation Company that I was in on my 2nd tour of duty in Vietnam: 68-70, is a "Gunship." A Huey type of Helicopter. I was not in the Gunship platoon, but I flew with "White Flight", one of the 2-- "Slick Platoons" -- which basically carried assault troops [Infantry] in and out of battle, and we had, 2 M-60 machine guns, plus our 'personal weapons' ---M-16's, and the pilots--usually Warrant Officers, had their .38 Special revolvers, with a 4 inch barrel. We [our company] had strict rules in case any ship went down in hostile area, for what ever reason... the next ship after him would also go down and rescue the crew of 4 men, etc. You JUST DID NOT EVER WANT TO BE CAPTURED BY THE NVA or the VIET CONG. Period ! ! And to make matters worse, my Helicopter company had a nasty reputation of killing so many of the enemy, that they put a hit list-- a contract out on us, with reward $$$$, if any one of us were captured, we knew it would never go well with us, until we died, and then our horrendous suffering from torture would end. I promised MYSELF that I would NEVER, ever, be taken alive ! And just standing UP in a fire fight would almost ensure your getting killed. But some of our Soldiers were found, and repatriated, but they were pure skin and bones, just like the concentration camps in WW-2, usually too weak to even walk.
So, when we finally came home to the "world" -- the USA, people just walked around totally oblivious to the war so far away in South East Asia, and some even made fun of us, and called us stupid for ever going there.... but no one ever made fun or spit on ME....lol. However, unbeknownst to me, and most of us, I had a healthy dose of COMBAT PTSD, but still went thru life, working my ass off to support my family. But they never really knew or understood what guys like me went thru, and were STILL going thru the rest of their lives. I THINK that I have come a long way since I got out of the Army, in 30 March 70, but other Veterans that know me say otherwise, that we always carry that damn war inside of us, until we die. Yet, being Saved by the merits of Jesus Christ, to me, is the most/ best/ important thing that I got handed to me in this life time, because hell would be an even worse loss, IMHO.
But our 'president obama' had to make a big goofy fool of himself by trying to make nice with Castro... trying to make himself look good.
We combat Veterans who are now Saved, and have Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, know that we don't have to go thru a 2nd hell... of sorts, for all eternity. So when I can contact and talk to another Veteran, and win souls, I am especially HAPPY !! I believe that it is a worth while goal that the Lord, my God, spared me for. More combat, spiritual Soldiers are now needed to fight the Devil, right now !! Most of you good men already have that good training, so why not use the rest of our short life to do the GOOD WORK of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, please.

Friends, I am such an imperfect sinner man, and yet God has not only allowed me to survive to age 67, but to also use ME as a 'simple tool' to help gather many people from all walks of life, to get right with His Son, Jesus, before the Rapture comes ! ! So let me help you if I can, and it won't cost you one thin dime... which is fake anyway... lol.

The death of communist tyrant Fidel Castro has yielded much-deserved coverage of the monstrous nature < Caution-http://www.breitbart.c
What has gone virtually unreported, however, is the direct and instrumental role Castro played in the torture and murder of American POWs in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The story of Castro’s atrocities against American soldiers in this conflict is rarely ever told, least of all by our mainstream media.
During the Vietnam War, Castro sent a gang of his henchmen to run the “Cuban Program” at the Cu Loc POW camp in Hanoi, which became known as “the Zoo.” As Stuart Rochester and Frederick Kiley have documented in their book Honor Bound < Caution-https://www.amazon.com
Castro selected American POWs as his guinea pigs. A Cuban nicknamed “Fidel,” the main torturer at the Zoo, initiated his own personal reign of terror. He was described in documents < Caution-http://freebeacon.com/
Among Fidel’s torture techniques were beatings and whippings over every part of his victims’ bodies, without remission.

The man [Cobeil] could barely walk; he shuffled slowly, painfully. His clothes were torn to shreds. He was bleeding everywhere, terribly swollen, and a dirty, yellowish black and purple from head to toe. The man’s head was down; he made no attempt to look at anyone. . . . He stood unmoving, his head down. Fidel smashed a fist into the man’s face, driving him against the wall. Then he was brought to the center of the room and made to get down onto his knees. Screaming in rage, Fidel took a length of black rubber hose from a guard and lashed it as hard as he could into the man’s face. The prisoner did not react; he did not cry out or even blink an eye. His failure to react seemed to fuel Fidel’s rage and again he whipped the rubber hose across the man’s face. . . . Again and again and again, a dozen times, Fidel smashed the man’s face with the hose. Not once did the fearsome abuse elicit the slightest response from the prisoner. . . . His body was ripped and torn everywhere; hell cuffs appeared almost to have severed the wrists, strap marks still wound around the arms all the way to the shoulders, slivers of bamboo were embedded in the bloodied shins and there were what appeared to be tread marks from the hose across the chest, back, and legs.

He [Fidel] deprived Kasler of water, wired his thumbs together, and flogged him until his “buttocks, lower back, and legs hung in shreds.” During one barbaric stretch he turned Cedric [another torturer] loose for three days with a rubber whip. . . . the PW [POW] was in a semi-coma and bleeding profusely with a ruptured eardrum, fractured rib, his face swollen and teeth broken so that he could not open his mouth, and his leg re-injured from attackers repeatedly kicking it.
