Hello Friends,
We drove to the VA hospital to meet with my PCP -- Primary Care Provider, Julie C., to talk about getting a different medicine, and then I just didn't feel right as I was getting kind of dizzy in the head, etc.  So they sent me to the ER-- but nowadays they call it "Urgent Care" where they ran a bunch of tests that yielded no real answers or problems, but the nursing staff treated me very nice!  My compliments to all the ER staff including Tarra M, RN., Robin, and the younger tech, girl who stuck me with the IV -- she was so good, painless and professional!  Sorry that I cannot remember the others who served me.   I always like to give people credit when due.  Today I wasn't feeling so good and so I was not aware of everything going on around me, and they wanted to take images, X-rays, blood work, etc.,

So much is happening in America right now with the 'Witch Hunt' and perverting the law of the land as the Dims [sic] liberal-Socialists trying to reverse the presidential election results.  I vividly remember suffering thru Obama's shameless perversions and disastrous healthcare scams and lies [like the obama-care lie,  'you can keep your doctor'--- duh] without crying in my beer every day, but civility is a thing of the past.   Also illegally bussing thousands of aliens under the cover of night to various cities to corrupt the safety and welfare of our American citizens.  And now our good President Trump is trying to undo all the harm of obama and doing a great job of it, also building up our economy again.
But the State of  Israel is still defending its sovereignty, people and land against all the hostile neighbours who plan, attack, launch rockets into civilian populations all the time!  And as Christians, we MUST REMEMBER where our roots are -- that we all descended from Adam and Eve, traced back all that way by Jesus, in Matthew chapter 3: 23., also in the book of Luke.  Why is that so FEW Christians know that??  The English in my KJV is the same as anyone else's, even if they use a different [more easy to use] version Bible.  Ha!  The answer is simple.   And it's not that I am so smart -- it's just that most others are so dang lazy.  So much for that.  The good news is that we can all learn English, Norwegian, German, Spanish, French, Russian or Chinese, etc., because the Bible is printed in all of these languages!  But there exist CD, audiotapes, etc. to listen to the bible in the comfort of our own homes or automobiles and learn the truth.   But we DON'T  really know when we will die, and that could happen at any time!
I am so sad that some close relatives died recently and no one knows for sure except the people closest to them if they spent any time reading, studying or learning what the Bible says about true SALVATION and everlasting life is all about.      Because the Bible teaches that it's NOT about being "good or bad!"  It's about having a real relationship and submitting our lives with/ to Jesus Christ.  There is only ONE way -- and that can only be thru the ONE true Lord and Savior, Jesus, who died for all mankind's sins.  So celebrating some religious holiday means nothing if we are not fully committed to verbal acknowledging the real Lord, Jesus.    And yes, I well know that my words will make many folks angry so that they will never read my humble blog or emails again.  But if I can reach a few more people before I die, I will be happy in knowing that I have at the very least done my J.O.B. -- job.   My message is really one of love, not hate.   Once upon a time, as I related only yesterday, I thought I knew it all, when another Army Combat Veteran explained something simple to me -- yet very profound, that lead me to the Lord!  His name is Robby Bohnen, and he still lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
I have often admitted that I hate math, yet I use it all the time to figure out my chequebook, etc.   Ha!  It's a wonder that I passed my Securities Federal Exam [6 and 66], years ago so I could market quality Mutual Funds, Stocks and Bonds $$$ for PFS Investments.  And I had a scare again today when I thought that I might be having a stroke or a 'mini-stroke' at the hospital.  Well, if that happened I could no longer write my Blog:  TOM'S JOURNAL.  You see ?!  We don't know what will happen today or tomorrow!  That is why people take out Life, Auto and Property Insurance...  because we don't know what will happen and we want to be prepared.  We don't buy smoke detectors and fire extinguishers expecting to have a fire on a certain date in time, do we?   So it makes good sense to prepare for the day when we will meet our God, our Creator to square accounts.  Because once we are dead it's OVER and we can never seek redemption through the merits of Jesus' ransom blood sacrifice that can set men and women free of the bonds of hell that we so richly deserve!  Christ took all that and wiped our slates clean -- but ONLY if we go to Him and ask forgiveness and FOLLOW HIM !  Knowing this to be a fact -- why would any rational human being want to wait another earthly minute to do just that??  It's just a simple prayer and costs us nothing.  Not even one thin dime, dear friends.

Tell me what you think.  You already know my address.

Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

December 20th, 2019

At this moment, thousands of Israelis are hard at work preparing for the rebuilding of the Temple. They don't know when it will happen, but they are convinced that it will. And they are determined to be ready. Conversely, Muslims of that area see the rebuilding of the Temple as a major threat. They are working to make sure there will never be another Temple on this God-chosen site.

On this week's Hal Lindsey Presents, I tell about one of the most interesting men I have ever met. His name is Gershon Salomon. As a soldier in the Six-Day War, he saw astounding miracles on the battlefield-miracles that could only come from God.

Later, he felt called to begin work preparing for the Temple. He has spearheaded the rebuilding of the intricate furniture God described to Moses. These pieces must be built to the exact specifications laid out by God. For artisans to do this correctly requires special God-inspired abilities.

Numerous passages in the Bible make it clear that the Temple must be rebuilt. But in today's political climate, how could that be possible? That's one of the things I talk about on this week's program. I also tell about several of my own amazing experiences in Jerusalem and especially on the Temple Mount.

All of this will help us understand Revelation 11:1-2. "And there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, 'Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. And leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.'"

Why was John given a measuring rod? What does this mysterious passage mean? I wondered about these things for years. Then one day, while standing on the Temple Mount, I believe God gave me the answer.

One of the joys in the study of Revelation is the manner in which this book integrates the whole Bible. It helps us see how all the pieces fit perfectly together in God's plan for the ages!

I hope you'll join me this week for Hal Lindsey Presents. Look for it on Daystar, Sunday at 11PM Eastern Time. Or watch it online anytime at www.hallindsey.com or www.hischannel.com. If you missed any episodes, you can catch up by visiting www.hallindsey.com/videos/.

God Bless,
