Friends,
I could not download the whole article but I snagged the Doctor's name,  Thomas ……… and it has to do with identifying Stroke by looking for 3 main actions:  STR --- Smile, Talk, and Raise both arms.

Stroke and heart disease run in my Father's family and my father also had a stroke and then a heart attack that took my Dad's life 2 weeks later.   I want my wife, at least, to know all about strokes and what to do if I have one.   I love life very much and now, finally, most everything is working my way so that we are comfortable.  But my age of 71 puts me out to pasture right about now because of my family propensity of heart and stroke.
I am so thankful for having the opportunity of finding and knowing the Lord, Jesus Christ in my life!  But for me, it's still so astounding trying to understand how Christ's being sacrificed so that ALL OF MY SINS are FORGIVEN, past, present and future!   I am just amazed, and if the KJV Bible says it's true -- then for me --- it's true.  I just wish that I had really known the Lord and the Bible earlier in life and maybe that might have shaped my life from then on.   I am still a sinner, but working on myself, although we must understand that we alone can never "earn our way into heaven."  I am just telling you all these things in case someone new might be reading my blog post here, today.  An d to reinforce all the sacred, blessed things I know for sure.

And don't you all agree that THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME to talk about being Saved, Forgiveness and Heaven, with the Coronavirus infecting all of our planet?   For those of us who know our Bible well, this might be the very time in our life when things could change drastically in our world, even places like America!  The more people that die --- the more drastic our leaders might react and push the panic button.  I just read where some areas are being told to stay in their houses for the next TWO MONTHS!  Wow!
There have been no fatalities where I live, U.P. in the Northern Woods of Michigan.  But I heard that too many punks and 20 somethings are being bullheaded, stubborn and rebellious, grouping up and partying down in larger groups, probably the Dems.... Ha!  They can die too, and they are carriers of the disease.  Maybe they should pay a steep fine and jailed for a while.

Anyway, if you suspect a person has had a stroke, please memorize these 3 important things to do:   Tell them to Smile, Talk in a coherent way, and Raise both arms.  If they fail that test, get them to a hospital ASAP!

Stroke has a new indicator

They say if you email this to ten people, you stand a chance of saving one life. Will you send this along?Blood Clots/Stroke - They Now Have a Fourth Indicator, the Tongue

STROKE: Remember the 1st Three Letters.....
S. T. R.
STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a woman stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) ...she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.
They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Jane went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.
Jane's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 PM Jane passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Jane would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this.
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR. Read and
Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A
SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. Chicken Soup)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke --------
Stick out Your Tongue!

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is
'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

Cardiologists says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

Warm Regards,
Thomas G Schuckman
