I am finally seeing a little physical progress now every single day, but it's coming so slow. I am so grateful and happy with my dear wife, Lori's constant help and kindness in waiting on me all thru most every day and night!! She is so precious to me and I also see her progress manifest itself in other ways, like intellectually, as her reading and memory skills are quite evident. It's more fun that way in life having someone who is on the same 'wave length' as you are, and it makes for present conversation!
While I can only stand up for a short time, I still cannot walk. I can't wait until I step on our VA scale again to prove my point.
I also had a very meaningful conversation with my sister, Linda, in Burlington, WI., this morning. We both had a few important questions to get answered while we are both still alive...Ha! Things that happened many years ago. Linda and I both have our own personal thoughts and ideas about politics and religion, but I make sure that I steer clear of them so as not to offend her. I just feel that I can prove my point more effectively. Remember: "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." And, you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Many times when a person gets older or has a near miss of an accident, things that might have seemed important BEFORE, just don't have the same value or weight after that life-dealing event. Well, that's how I feel now.
More later.
Warm Regards,
