Hi Friends,
When I was yet a senior in High School, 1967, I was accepted by a few Universities in WI, and was working on the farm to save my money for college, but I also looked into the Army programs to see what they offered. I thought and even wrote letters to the Sec. of Defense and got a signed pic of Mr. McNamara, as to what kind of job--MOS, I could choose that would give me a leg up in civilian life. But I ended up in Army Aviation, and things worked out well, I guess. After getting adjusted to every day life, flying every day, I settled into the job and did it well, and felt comfortable and accepted by my peers.
But I had a profound challenge readjusting to civilian life when I came home and it took me a long time to settle down and accept the Ho-Hum, slow moving, boring civilian life and jobs. Motorcycles were the only thing that could give me "that Rush" of flying in Helicopters, ever after. But a few bad accidents on bikes /cycles took the wind out of my sails and slowed me down.
I think I mentioned this before... when a man gets to be my age, 66 in Feb., of 2015, he looks back at his life and wonders if he impacted others during his long trek on earth. Just think: The few 70--80 some years is short when you are going 'full speed ahead', experiencing the good times and the bad. And with the knowledge and wisdom of the KJV Bible, you got to understand that someday we will all stand before our Lord and Judge to give an account of our lives [long or short] and offer some explanation why we failed or succeeded in doing some of the Lord's Work and Missions while we were on earth. How could a person begin to explain that watching TV was more important than sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in some way, to help others find the way to everlasting life in heaven ?? I know that I would change a lot of things if I had to re-live my time on earth. I have many disappointments and made some foolish moves that hurt me and my family, although I can claim ignorance for some of it. Like getting mixed up with that "church of the poisoned mind" -- the JW org ! What a supreme waste of my talents, time, money, for 22 years!! I can only tell my family and friends that I am sorry, but at least they learned some of the OT [Old Testament] that was not truncated, messed with, or altered by the JW's so-called, "New World Translation bible." The worst part was, IMHO, that they took away the deity of Jesus Christ, and perpetrate the lie that Jesus was actually the Archangel Michael ! Duh, Not! Also, that only a select 144,000 humans are going to heaven!! That people MIGHT attain everlasting life IF they do what the WatchTower dictates, "thru Works" --- not from Grace. All terrible lies, and everyone should know this.
I highly recommend that folks buy an inexpensive: DEFINED KJV Bible, at/ from: biblefortoday.org --- I just ordered a few more to GIVE away to some new members at church who really need on, in large, easy to read PRINT. I figure that the Lord has blessed Terri and I, not that we are rich in money, but we have enough to pay our bills. Thank You, dear Lord ! Pastor Kevin Sullivan works hard U.P. here in Iron Mtn., MI 49801, to witness, spread the Gospel, preach, teach, council so many people in this area, and every one seems to know him! I figure that when I help him, I am also serving the Lord.... besides sharing bible tracts, etc., with many people I meet in my own daily life. Yes, the "DEFINED KING JAMES BIBLE" has helped me a lot in my personal, exhaustive studies in the bible, and how we came to have the most PURE, most accurate bible in the world.... compared to many other, messed up, polluted modern 'bibles.' Just place some 'modern' bible on the table, like the NASB, or the 'New World Translation'- printed by the Jehovah Witnesses --- next to the Defined KJV Bible and COMPARE the mistakes, inaccuracies and LIES, big time !!! When anyone takes away the god-ship of Jesus Christ, that is a big sin!
I hope your day is good, safe, successful and happy! Smile.
Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman
THIS IS A DAMN GOOD QUESTION!!!
