Good Day, Dear Friends,
   Today is Sunday.. "Super Bowl Sunday" in the USA.  So many Americans make a big deal of this day that includes lots of food, drink, party time and get togethers for that famous Football game at the end of the year, and I used to get invited to 'Super Bowl' parties in the past, too.  I played 4 years of high school football--mainly defensive guard,  and loved it, but let's face reality --- it's only a game/ sport, and needs to be looked at as such.  People have a built in 'need' to worship something or somebody, but the Bible says that ONLY Father God should get that worship, [Jesus said] sports hero's.  movie stars, or athlete.   And just look at how much money many athletes"earn" these days $$$!  But I am not saying that it's right or wrong how a person earns his wages/ income if it's honest work and upon merit, and I am not jealous of anyone either.  Indeed, I believe that I am truly blessed, too.  PTL -- Praise the Lord.


Friends,  I told my wife last night that I felt I should start to sleep longer so I would not get so tired during the day and evening hours.  But during the wee hours of the morning just before I usually get up my poor back starts to ache and pain me, so that I do get up sort of early to begin my regimen to alleviate such physical pain. also check the email, weather, news stories and perhaps a favorite Bible oriented TV show.  I have good days and bad, like any other older guy, but I did lose a few more pounds as we found out last night using the weight scale provided by the local VAMC in Iron Mountain, Michigan, in the U.P.  And if I could just lose another 50 pounds I know that life would be so different and better for me!  Prayers requested to that end, please. 
     As I have said a few times... I don't like to use the term, "luck" because it's origins are steeped in the occult and demons, IMHO.  But I prefer to use the term, "Blessed" and indeed, with all of my physical problems and concerns, I am still very blessed by God and so thankful.  I NEVER, ever thought that I would retire in dignity with at least a living wage and retirement package.  I am not rich but at least we can pay our bills on time and invest a little for what ever come down the pike.  But I know well that anything could happen in the future to take away everything we have, even though we have a good, smart President who is doing special things to keep our economy going strong.  
       And just look at that new sickness, Coronavirus that is sweeping the world that started in China!   And some say that it might even be linked to some chemical/ biological warfare development thing.   As if mankind doesn't have enough problems in the world right now.  But it would also fit into the "Last Days-- End Times" prophecy that Jesus gave in the book of Matthew, chapter 24, and in Timothy.


I have noticed in my life of spreading the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus, for the past 40 some years-- in talking to so many different kinds of people that many just love to say that the Bible cannot be understood because it is really left up to 'private interpretation.'  [Ha!]  That goofy sentiment is just pure manure and ignorance and only mouthed by people who have been too lazy in their lives to even pick up the Bible for a concentrated reading and study!!  Turning to 2nd Peter, Chapter 1, verse 20,  "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  21.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  the holy men of God spake [spoke] as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."  Friends, I have always said that any honest hearted, godly man or woman only need to pray for help, and then read the surrounding bible text [of a scripture in question] to get the full import of the scriptures.  And if we have a computer and the Internet, we have the finest tools to find out exactly what the Bible says from studied Bible scholars/ experts, holy warriors who love the Bible, and have the Holy Spirit helping them.  I may not be an expert but a serious Bible student who knows how to search out things to uncover the truth.  And God didn't have holy men write the Bible for just the super educated people.  For First Corinthians 3: 19, says, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with
God."  And those who think they know so much with their secular education probably know little scripture!   Although the Bible is written on a 5th grade reading level -- pride blinds so many so-called "educated" liberal minded people!   With all the liberal foolishness taught in colleges nowadays... duh.  Some of those folks  have trouble just tying their shoes!  Just look at what kind of liberal Congressional Representatives we have now days with such horrible ideas of how to steal our taxes for stupid programs as climate change, etc.  It's all a shame and pure stupidity.  And one of those females even married her biological brother to get him into the USA, illegally, also getting a free college education, also supporting our enemies over seas, etc.  And our 'wheels of justice' turn ever so slowly!  If I did something like that I would have been hung outside the court house in a heart beat... ha!  But then... the combat Veterans who come back from war are many times broke, hurt, and homeless!  While illegal aliens still continue to pour across the Southern border, protected by the likes of crazy Nancy.  What's wrong with this picture, dear friends?  Vote the right way!  Vote to protect our Republic and Constitution.
