Dear Friends and Readers,
How can it be so beautiful, sunny and nice outside but the air temps are so low and chilly? It's good weather to work in, but not warm enough to lay half stripped for sun bathing... Ha! We shall take the bad with the good as always and be HAPPY!
My ex-landlord and his son were over yesterday to re do and repair the roof on our garage -- as promised, and he promised to finish the rest of the job today, Saturday. Fine.
The kind and gentle thoughts and memories of our mini family reunion in Burlington, WI., a few days ago, is still fresh in my mind, and it gives me a fuzzy, warm feeling... that I am loved and cared for. Even grumpy old men need love. I was limited in my movement and ability to walk very far [and with special needs and assistance] but my family siblings were quick to accommodate and help me be comfortable. And many thanks to my sister, Linda, who cut my hair and made me look more human ----THANK YOU, Linda! She is smart and full of wisdom and kindness. Sister Sue has a lot to share too with her knowledge of many things, and her husband, Gino, showed me a great time, sharing knowledge and 'know-how' from all his life's experiences in the Military S.F. Sue spent time overseas in the 'Sand Box' while in uniform, too.
I think and ponder a lot in my golden retirement and vividly remember that last day at Chrysler Corp. in Kenosha, WI., in 2002. I made double sure that I had enough time to retire, having 30.5 years verified in the front offices. But I had also thought about working a few years extra to save up a mountain of cash flow in my great Mutual Funds that I personally manipulated/ managed to some extent --- picking and choosing, and made a lot of money. But I also spent a lot of it on the old house I bought in Union Grove, WI., out in Racine County, all by myself. Yes, I wanted to be the single owner of that house so that NO WOMAN could ever kick me out of my own house !! I don't hate women at all --- but I like them too much and forget to CMA --'Cover My Anatomy.' I guess that I am too trusting, and then witches like to steal my goods and money. It's not 'control' that I want -- but just knowledge and awareness. But I feel that everything is OK, now, and my dear Loretta is a good wife to me, and loves me. I am trying to teach her everything I know about investments and Finance before I 'go home.'
Why is it that so many people will do most anything to stay alive, even when they are suffering so much with horrible ailments and disease, when they profess to know the Bible and God's promises of heaven? Just read and LEARN what the last book of the KJV Bible says about heaven: Revelation, Chapter 21: 1, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2. And I John saw a holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. skip to verse 4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." But read verse 8 to see which kind of people will NOT be allowed into heaven. And it wouldn't hurt to read the last 2-- chapters, either. We can never have 'too much knowledge and understanding!
We simply CANNOT ever "earn our way to heaven by works!" And we cannot pray for the dead. When someone dies, all that they did while living will be reviewed by the Father in Heaven, and if someone has never followed the Son, Jesus Christ, in their lives, they will be judged on their merits. I am just repeating what I know about the Bible, folks. It's all dependent on our belief, love, and total acceptance of Jesus Christ, our only Savior. Jesus' blood sacrifice on the cross bought us our freedom and our ticket to heaven, and that is the sole reason why we won't have to go to hell. And nothing else will work, sorry.
If you just can't BELIEVE, ask God for a 'new heart' even as I did to open my eyes and escape from false religion, NOW. We are well within the "Last Days" of this wicked system --- as older human beings can still remember when things and places were peaceful and free from every day fear and worry. These plagues, diseases, wars, big time disasters, wars, constant fighting, murders and other crimes will continue to hit the world, one after another, back to back, until the Lord comes to take up His chosen people who love Him dearly and obey His commandments.
On the other hand, what lame excuse will we have if we didn't take/ make the time to sit down and read the Bible, at least the Gospel accounts and the book of Romans?? Especially, now days with all of our InterNet services and cell smart phones, the Word of God is written in so many languages. And if someone yearns to learn the Truth of God's Word and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior--- there simply is no excuse --- but God will somehow get the 'Good News' to them.
Have a great day! Sunny, but Cool, today.
Warm Regards and Love to my Brothers,
Thomas G Schuckman
Sorry, but we cannot escape the truth of this matter... that the VA usually gives the Veterans sub-standard care, and 2nd rate health care, with too many foreign 'doctors' who are very young and inexperienced. And that--- 'Stinks on Ice!' Illegal Aliens get better health care than we do ! What's wrong with this picture?
VA Unprepared to Deal with a Second Wave of COVID-19, Top Officials Say
As reported June 10 by Richard Sisk for Military.com, the VA is saddled with an antiquated supply chain that is short of personal protective equipment — including N-95 masks and gowns — swabs and other vital equipment to deal with a second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, VA officials said Tuesday. The VA's healthcare system currently has about a 30-day supply of protective gear on hand, but would need a supply backstop of at least 60 days or possibly six months to cope with a resurgence of the novel coronavirus in the fall, said Dr. Richard Stone, acting head of the Veterans Health Administration.

This week on Hal Lindsey Presents, our journey through Revelation takes us to the 18th chapter. And what a riveting story it tells!
The last seven years before the return of Jesus can be seen in great detail through much of Revelation. In chapter 17, we saw the ascendance of a religious system that had its origins on the Plains of Shinar (modern day Iraq) with the building of the Tower of Babel. When God scattered the people from that area, they took that awful religion with them. It carried over to the great Gentile nations prophesied by Daniel, starting with Babylon and carrying through to Rome.
When the Roman Empire is revived in the last days, the old religion will gain ascendancy over the world again - though not for long. This should not surprise those of us alive today. In fact, even in just the last few days, we have seen the old religion stirring across the world.
In chapter 18, we see how the religious system ties to the economic system of the last days.
In Revelation 18:7-8, Babylon "says in her heart, 'I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning.' For this reason in one day her plagues will come, pestilence and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her is strong."
Now look at Isaiah 47. According to verse 1, God is speaking here to the "daughter of Babylon." In verse 6, He says, "I was angry with My people, I profaned My heritage, And gave them into your hand. You did not show mercy to them, On the aged you made your yoke very heavy. Yet you said, 'I shall be a queen forever.'
On this week's program we will look at several ways these scriptures and others tie together. I will also give you some Old Testament scriptures that describe Armageddon and the events leading to it.
It's fascinating to see how 21st century world leaders seem bent on getting the world aligned just right for these terrible events.
