Hi Friends,
I always want the most expert, professional opinions and science that also coincides with what the Bible sanctions, for my physical medical treatment. Since modern medicine is still not an exact science -- sometimes as we get wiser, different approaches lend better treatment and newer medical opinions/ procedures. For instance, I do not personally want to accept a blood transfusion even to save my life. In my opinion, our blood supply in the USA is not safe, clean or checked enough to suit me, but it's also a personal opinion that I share... but do not want to discuss right now. People still 'sleep around' too much and contract various strains of VD/ STD, Malaria, drugs, etc. Other folks don't mind what goes into their body, but I DO. And I used to know some old, alcoholics who sold their blood to buy more booze, in Milwaukee, years ago. I only gave blood once in my life while in the Army to get out of an inspection...Ha!
Friends, I was just starting to get into the sunny Springtime mode, when we got a huge dump of snow and cold air temps on us up North in the U.P. of Michigan, USA! The winds are fast and chilly, too, but we know that others lost their lives from tornados in Southern States like GA, etc. So... pain and disaster are 'relative terms' where someone else has always got it tougher than we do. Pray for them, too, while thanking the Father for all of His gentle mercies, please.
Back at the ranch, let us not try so hard to 'fix the blame' on our President who looks like he needs some sleep and works overtime to help the Nation of America. Who really understood all of the ramifications of this horrid Chinese virus that has taken the wise old relatives out of our families and left most of us much poorer. No matter how you cut it --- we have all suffered in one way or another.
But as for the Democrats --- 'they never miss an opportunity to make use of all the pain, sorrow and destruction visited upon the USA and it's people!' What ever can possibly benefit the working and middle classes of society -- the Dems want to put a hold on it or tack on MORE PORK! Look! It never fails that these 'robber baron- Dims [sic]' will always take a portion of the pie from the intended needy ones who are struggling to survive! Shame on the Dims! I hope people will remember all their shenanigan's come voting time. In the meantime, we wait for the 'law of averages' to visit them with natural Justice and well deserved correction. Remember that I am never advocating any kind of violence, but the Lord certainly forgets NOTHING. Psalm 119: 150 reads: "They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law." And also, Psalms 2: 9, "Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron: thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
Well, now I feel the need for cataract eye surgery, but who knows when the VAMC facility will be functional again. I discussed this subject with the doctor in charge of eye surgery but he told me that my eyes had not aged enough to warrant the surgery yet. I constantly have to drip distilled water into my eyes so I can see clearly thru them. What next?! Ah... there is always something that pops up in my life and old age can be a grumpy old bear. I am one of those people who just cannot stay in bed too late in the morning, but I end up taking a nap in the afternoon. Sorry to complain so much, but our robber Cable TV service run by the city hall has nothing but repeats ALL YEAR while they charge us more money than ever for it.
Well, I have learned over the years to treat myself with healing herbs, but right now the mail order company is OUT of many herbs that I normally use, and zinc is not available, along with other important things that can aid us with the Coronavirus, if it hits us. But I am hunkering down like a wise old wart hog...Ha!
Stay home --- Be safe-- Be Blessed.
Warm Regards,

Dr. Oz: Only 20-50 Percent of COVID-19 Patients on Ventilators Survive

The coronavirus survival rate on ventilators is disturbingly low, perhaps as low as 20%, signaling it might not be the best way to serve patients, according to Dr. Mehmet Oz.
"Ventilators have become a big concern," Dr. Oz told Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on 970 AM-N.Y., saying it is not about a shortage as much as a medical debate they might be endangering COVID-19 patients who need them. "When we use them — as we've used them for pneumonia — it might not be the best service for patients.
"One of the things the COVID-19 does is that it hurts our ability to carry oxygen in our blood," he added to host John Catsimatidis. "That same process damages the lining of our lungs. What we really want is oxygen, not pressure, blasting through the lungs, which sometimes can hurt the lungs.
"That is perhaps one of the reasons why the survival rate in intubated patients, people with breathing tubes and ventilators, has been so poor."
There are some findings 80% of COVID-19 patients who go on ventilators do not survive, according to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
"In my hospital, New York Presbyterian, we're getting about a 50% survival rate, which is significantly better than what Gov. [Cuomo] had quoted as a 20% survival rate," Dr. Oz said.
