Good Day, Friends and great Readers,
As usual try to post the latest text from "Hal Lindsey Presents,"
because
he is so in-tune with my mind and heart.... and the KJV Bible! And today we will find out what the term: Mystery Babylon... means! This ought to open our eyes, big time, if you ask for the Holy Spirit to help you. Just ASK FOR HIM!
The apostle Paul wrote Timothy [a young Elder in the governing body [Congregation in Jerusalem] at, 2nd Timothy, Chapter 3, verse 16: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [verse 17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Most folks will get the import of this key, very important, MAIN COMPONENT of 2nd Tim. 3: 16. That the Bible should be used all the time, as an Army TM, FM, etc. [Tech Manual..Field Manual.]. I will tell you all that I needed to have certain subjects of study repeated to me many times when I was young, and perhaps there were no good teachers in the family where I was raised --- yet I do not condemn them either, because of the fact that babies are born without any Training Instructions... unless you were born and raised by Christian, Bible-Smart parents !! Woo--Woo! I am very imperfect, too. I am starting to go down hill too, as my tired, worn out body slowly falls apart and doesn't work so good anymore at age 71. But I am not complaining or crying in my beer... Ha! I have led a very full life, with much daily hard, dangerous work, and supported my family well. Not long ago, my wife, Loretta and I bought an old house, but solid and well built with a new furnace, for a good price and great financing as the Lord smiled upon us and t here is more security for my dear, hard working wife, Lori, after I pass away to meet my Maker/ Creator, and Jesus Christ, my Savior. That made it my 5th house purchase in my life. And I must have bought at least 5 brand new Dodge Ram pick up trucks, too.... with my last one bought in 2015.... my 'Little Red Wagon.' Now days I think that my wife drives it about 90% of the time and does many nice chores for me. Thank You, dear Lori !
And yes, there is a 'core-group' of humans on earth who are smart enough to know and understand that WE Christians will soon be hunted like animals because we insist on serving and obeying the Great God in Heaven, vs: worshiping some State symbol, or humanistic, Satan backed rebellion against the most high God, Yahweh, and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. We know that we will be in big trouble because we refuse to "take the Mark" [of the devil, Satan] to save our bodies for a while....living in a dangerous, rebellious world of sorrow. But we have a strong Promise from the Father and Son, to "take us up into the air, and up to Heaven right before the Big Battle recorded in the book of Revelation, etc. Yes, I am again talking about the Rapture! And how will people react to witnessing MILLIONS of Christians 'disappearing' all at the same time!? Of course the human governments will have to concoct some weird story [but they are already pretty good at that...lol]. Those of us who already heard and even read about such a time will hate themselves, and pull out their hair and WEEP mightily!
Folks like me will not be smiling or making fun of all those 'Left Behind'--- but if we didn't make the time to at least preach and share the Gospel with them, once, will feel some shame and regret... because it was a matter of life and death to all those neighbors and relatives. Now is that time to get busy and call our relatives and friends with this message of Salvation by Jesus' blood sacrifice on the cross, or torture stake on a high hill back 2000 years ago on the other side of the earth.
True, Bible teaching churches WILL, must use the Bible at each church service and everyday life! Ask yourself and observe: Do the church members bring their own copy of the Bible WITH THEM as they walk into church? Are there other church Bibles already sitting in or near the seats? If not, then you might want to look for a real BIBLE TEACHING/ PREACHING, CHRISTIAN, church. And also remember that the term "Church" is an old English term
that means, Congregation. Not some structure, building or campus. Real Christians are allowed to Protest, but never allowed to destroy, burn, damage, hurt, kill, murder other human beings, their livestock and pets! Those in-country terrorists must be prosecuted and punished for an example to others who are so bored and stupid that they lust after tearing things down... instead of getting a job! Ask yourself: "Would a real Christian storm the streets and damage people and property??"
And let me say out loud that I sorely miss the readership and kindness of the people of Norway! I don't remember If I did any wrong or said the wrong words ---- but I am very SORRY, please forgive me.

On this week's Hal Lindsey Presents, we examine an awful thing known as "Mystery Babylon" and its relationship to the Antichrist. This is a crucial study right now because it gives us an understanding of the rapidly changing world around us and where it is soon headed. It will help you navigate the strange times in which we live.
The Bible follows threads on important truths. A concept will be introduced in embryonic form in the beginning of the Bible. It will reappear at various times in the Bible. Then it will be brought to full description as we reach the end. Babylon on the plains of Shinar is the place where organized, false religion first started.
When Revelation 17 talks about Mystery Babylon, it's talking about false religion as an organized system. It started in the days of the Tower of Babel, and from there spread around the world. Daniel and the other captives from Israel saw it in the Babylonian kingdom. It then permeated each of the great Gentile powers mentioned prophetically by Daniel.
By Revelation 17:3-6, it will reach its zenith. "And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, and upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, 'BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.' And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus."
In scripture, harlots represent false religion. And this one will outdo itself in evil. On this week's study, we let the Bible explain itself in revealing these mysteries.
Today on earth, the stage is being set for the appearance of Antichrist. That means we're that much closer to the point where Jesus says to His Church, "Come up here!"
Things may seem frightening, but they are following the pattern laid out in the Bible long ago. That means you don't have to be in despair. You don't have to be afraid. The world has some tough times ahead, but if you're a follower of Jesus Christ, the difficulties we now face are a mere drop in the ocean compared to the glories that wait just around the corner.
